Like communities around the country, Chicago is hemorrhaging cash to deal with the devastating consequences of Joe Biden’s border disaster.
On Monday, the Budget and Government Operations Committee of the Chicago City Council voted 20-8 to send Mayor Brandon Johnson’s request for $70 million in additional City funding to care for illegals to the full Council.
CBS News reports that the request is part of a spending plan announced by Illinois Gov. JB Pritzker and Cook County Board President Toni Preckwinkle in February. The State of Illinois and Cook County pledged a combined $250 million to help fund the crisis, which is anticipated to reach at least $321 million for shelter and services this calendar year.
During the heated debate, Ald. Chris Taliaferro of the 29th Ward said, “We are not taking care of our own. We have all but forgotten the residents on the West Side and South Side.”
Last Fall, Taliafarro spoke out against another example of the City putting illegals ahead of citizens when plans were announced to convert a youth football field into a shelter for illegals in his district.
9th Ward Ald. Anthony Beale added, “We don’t have money for after-school programs. We don’t have money to help our kids get off the street. Yet, we would just blow money left and right. That’s a fundamental problem.”
“And when we talk about this money, and as important as our children are to us, a place like Ogden Park, the field house is to the Inglewood community, where shootings take place, where every economic indicator, health indicator, everything, everybody should be jumping to that to protect our children and give us the things we need,” said 17th Ward Ald. David Moore.
The money is needed as the Democratic National Convention approaches in August, according to sources familiar with the plan.
Most of the money would come from a reserve fund set up for migrants, and the rest from rainy day funds.
The city has spent nearly $300 million to help feed, shelter and care for migrants since August 2022, according to the mayor’s office.

On Tuesday night in Downers Grove, a quaint Chicago suburb, the Village Council 4-3 voted to remove the only Republican, logistics executive Bill Nienburg, from its six-member, appointed village library board.
Nienburg publicly opposed repeated initiatives intended to make the library more “progressive.”
As reported by Dupage Policy Journal, in 2022, Nienburg was the only board member who did not support a “drag queen bingo” event for children at the library featuring a male cross-dressing stripper.
The board’s plan to spend approximately $160,000 on an “anti-racism” and also to replace the Pledge of Allegiance with a “land statement,” which would declare that the town was formed on land “stolen by white Christian men from the Indians,” were also criticized by Nienburg.
In another blow to the radicals, Nienburg refused to put his “pronouns” on the library board’s “about” page.
Democrat Leslie Sadowski voted in favor of a resolution to remove Nienburg.

Dupage Policy Journal reports:
Sadowski told a crowd of more than 100, mostly attending in support of Nienburg, that she felt he should be removed because his ideas are “unsafe.”
“This has nothing to do with political affiliaton, and everything to do with dangerous extremism,” Sadowski said.
She said that she offered Nienburg “coaching” on how to get along with his liberal Democrat library board members, but that he refused.
Although Mr. Nienburg did not attended the meeting which ousted him, he sent a letter to Dupage Policy Journal:
The politically active Downers Grove Public Library administration and library board moved on February 28, 2024 to censure nonconforming library board member Bill Nienburg for sharing nonconfidential information with a Downers Grove taxpayer regarding a window painting policy at the library.
In a 5-0 vote the board moved to censure Mr. Nienburg and entered a request to the Downers Grove Village Council for his removal from the board. These actions all occurred when Mr. Nienburg was out of town and unable to attend this meeting and thereby denying him an opportunity to defend himself.
Bill Nienburg began his tenure with the Downers Grove Public Library Board in November 2022.
In this role as a library board member Mr. Nienburg exercised his fiduciary duty to the Downers Grove taxpayer by asking tough questions to and holding the library administration to account.
Last year he asked why a Native Land Statement is read before each meeting, but no Pledge of Allegiance. Suddenly the Pledge is now recited before each meeting.
During budget review Mr. Nienburg asked specific questions regarding increases to certain budget items, as well as how the budget can be proposed with no exact numbers.
And he questioned why the library staff, on its own accord, modified the native land statement with an anti-Christian update associating Christian Churches with native genocide.
In the broader context, this is the same activist library administration and board majority who (1) spent $86,000.00 on the divisive RGW Consultant equity report which cast Downers Grove as a racist community, (2) pushed a Drag Queen Bingo event targeted at children, and (3) developed and recites a native land statement that serves as a virtue signal with no real substance regarding native injustice.
Mr. Nienburg’s censure was not enough to satisfy the board majority.
During the February 28, 2024 Library Board Meeting, board members made disrespectful and mean-spirited remarks that likely violated board policy and by laws regarding respect and civil tone at board meetings. One board member, Carissa Dougherty openly violated Mr. Nienburg’s privacy by discussing his library card during the meeting and was a likely violation of the Illinois Library Records Confidentiality Act 75 ILCS 70/1.
On March 5, 2024, the Downers Grove Village Council voted 4-3 to investigate the removal of Mr. Nienburg from the Downers Grove Public Library Board. Again, no substantive policy violation was identified beyond alleged good governance. However, speakers during public comment made direct points regarding policy and law violations by the library administration and board members regarding the open discussion of Mr. Nienburg’s library card.
At the March 20, 2024, Downers Grove Public Library Board meeting speaker Noel Manley asserted that board member Carissa Dougherty may have violated the Illinois Library Records Confidentiality Act during her attack on board member Nienburg. Ms. Dougherty, during board comments, asserted she checked this matter with an attorney and that this was not protected information.
Note that in a FOIA dated April 1, 2024 an email dated March 13, 2024 was produced from the firm Klein, Thorpe & Jenkins arguing that “card holder status isn’t exempt information under the Library Confidentiality Act…” To test this assertion, in the same FOIA a request for a list of all active library card holders over the age of 18 was made. And the FOIA officer released a 510-page list of 28,031 names Downers Grove Public Library card holders.
Similar requests for active library card holder lists were made to the Westmont Public Library, the Oak Brook Public Library, the Hinsdale Public Library, and the Indian Prairie Public Library District. All denied this requested citing the same language in the Illinois Library Records Confidentiality Act (see attachments).
To compound the inconsistent application of library policy, at the April 9, 2024 Downers Grove Village Council meeting a former library employee spoke at public comment regarding her employment at the library. Specifically, she presented the council with her experience of sexual and criminal harassment from library patrons and the lack of response from the library administration. In fact, when she addressed this matter with the Downers Grove Police, she was placed on an employee improvement plan for failing to follow library protocol. Note that she cited the library employee handbook’s regarding harassment and sexual harassment. A policy that was not enforced. So feeling humiliated and abandoned in by the library administration, this violated woman resigned.
The consistent element of the Downers Grove Public Library’s administration and board majority is to deny due process to any board member or employee who fails to conform to their will.
In the case of Bill Nienburg and the former library employee, if you step outside your lane, you will be punished with selective and unspecific policy enforcement. However, if you violate the law, you get a pass.

LaSalle Street in Chicago has long been an important business and financial hub for the city.
But if Mayor Brandon Johnson has his way, the area will be transformed into “affordable housing,” with some suggesting it is yet another scheme to place the interests of illegals ahead of citizens.
Blockclub Chicago reported that “four potential developments have been picked as part of the LaSalle Street Reimagined initiative, a plan that aims to help the corridor bounce back from pandemic vacancies,” which would add “more than 1,000 new apartments, with at least 319 of them affordable.”
On Friday, the City Council will vote on Johnson’s request for $1.25B for affordable housing borrowing.
This is on top of Johnson’s request for $70 million in additional City funding to care for illegals, which the Budget and Government Operations Committee voted 20-8 to send to the full Council.
The Real Deal spelled out Johnson’s plan:
The plan calls for $1.25 billion in bonds to be allocated over five years, with $250 million annually divided between the city’s Department of Planning and Development and the Department of Housing, for economic development and housing programs.
It would also allow numerous TIF districts to expire, and for the tax dollars recouped from those districts to be redirected to fund this initiative. This shift signifies a departure from Chicago’s traditional reliance on TIF funds for its developments, removing geographic barriers to how the money is spent.
Chicago reporter William B. Kelly, however, has questions.

Watching Joe Scarborough’s Morning Joe is a front-row seat to the effects of Trump Derangement Syndrome.
Scarborough suffered a humiliating meltdown in March after getting called out for lying about President Trump on X.
Now, in his latest episode of unhinged anger, Scarborough rages that Trump supporters “hate America.”
“What’s wrong with you? Who raised you? What history did you read? Where are you from? Because you may claim to be from where I’m from, but you were not raised by the same teachers I was raised by, and you don’t read,” Scarborough said.
He was raised by teachers as opposed to being raised by parents? That may be part of the problem, Joe.
“I’m getting tired of saying this to people who claim to be patriotic but hate America, because they’re always running America down. They’re always trashing America. They’re always saying America is horrible, its democracy doesn’t work, we need a dictatorship if Donald Trump doesn’t win.”
Scarborough then downplayed coverage of the crisis at the border and mocked Fox News.
“I’ll just say it, on Fox News, they didn’t want to show Donald Trump in trial, so they got three protests and said, protests shut down America, basically. This weekend, there were like four migrants and a hound dog on top of a hill in New Mexico. They had their four migrants and a hound dog cam on for hours.”

On Thursday, The Gateway Pundit reported that anti-Israel students were arrested and suspended by Columbia University in New York City for organizing a pro-Hamas occupation on campus grounds.
Among the arrestees from Barnard College, which is connected to Columbia, was Rep. Ilhan Omar’s “angry black girl” daughter, Isra.
Barnard student Maryam Iqbal was also arrested and now seems shocked that there are consequences for her behavior.
Iqbal took to social media to complain that there are real-world consequences for real-world actions.
She wrote on X, “Just got out of jail after Columbia called NYPD to mass arrest 100+ students. I have been suspended and evicted from housing by Barnard. This has only strengthened my commitment to the movement for Palestinian liberation and I promise to continue fighting for divestment.”

The arrests come on the heels of Columbia President Dr. Nemat “Minouche” Shafik’s testimony in front of Wednesday’s House Education and the Workforce Committee hearing.
The hearing was focused on the pervasive antisemitism at the Ivy League school as well as demanding answers to what consequences, if any, Professor Joseph Massad faced after he penned an article praising the Oct. 7 Hamas terror attacks against Israeli civilians. Massad praised Hamas militants as “awesome,” “astonishing,” “astounding,” and “incredible.”
Rep. Elise Stefanik (R-NY) issued a statement following Shafik’s testimony:
“My statement on @Columbia University’s failure to combat antisemitism following the inconsistent and unacceptable testimony from their campus leadership: “Today’s hearing of Columbia University president and board members epitomizes the failed leadership on “elite” college campuses to combat antisemitism and protect Jewish students. From the university president’s moral equivocation on antisemitism, to glaringly inconsistent testimony regarding disciplinary action and lack thereof taken against antisemitic students and pro-terrorist faculty, to astonishingly stating that there has been no “anti-Jewish” protests on campus only to then acknowledge that “F– the Jews” & “Death to the Jews” is in-fact anti-Jewish when she was further pressed.
Interestingly, during a break, the witnesses were overheard discussing how well they thought their testimony was going for Columbia. On Friday, the Biden regime proudly announced that women will be forced to allow men in their locker rooms and bathrooms with a new 1577-page Title IX ruling.
Women will be forced to compete against men.
And women will be forced to accept men on their sports teams.
Women and young girls will be forced to share locker rooms and bathrooms based on gender identity rather than biological sex.
And, as May Mailman, Director of Independent Women’s Law Center, notes, Title IX is not a college law. This will impact girls as young as those in the Headstart program, geared to children from three to five-years old, those in daycare, and those in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Reminder, Title IX is not a “college” law. It affects ALL education programs that accept federal dollars, that means daycare, Headstart, K-12, 4-H, etc. Gender ideology is absolutely coming for the kids, and not just in public schools. ANY school with federal money.

Young girls everywhere will be subject to the type of sexual exposure allegedly faced by the female athletes forced to share a locker room with trans swimmer Lia Thomas.
Preferred pronouns are also now mandated, and even the single use of the “wrong” pronoun can require discipline.
They believe this is progress.
Title IX is now a thing of the past.
The new rules cement protections for L.G.B.T.Q. students under federal law. Additionally, it reverses Trump-era policies, including one that protects women by dictating how schools should respond to cases of alleged sexual misconduct in K-12 schools and college campuses.
The New York Times reports:
The new rules, which take effect on Aug. 1, effectively broadened the scope of Title IX, the 1972 law prohibiting sex discrimination in educational programs that receive federal funding. They extend the law’s reach to prohibit discrimination and harassment based on sexual orientation and gender identity, and widen the range of sexual harassment complaints that schools will be responsible for investigating.

Through the new regulations, the administration moved to include students in its interpretation of Bostock v. Clayton County, the landmark 2020 Supreme Court case in which the court ruled that the Civil Rights Act of 1964 protects gay and transgender workers from workplace discrimination. The Trump administration held that transgender students were not protected under federal laws, including after the Bostock ruling.

The Gateway Pundit reported that Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard is under FBI investigation for abusing her power after she shut down businesses that didn’t donate to her campaign.
According to Dolton citizens, Henyard uses local police to target businesses that don’t contribute to her.
She has also been accused of stealing charitable funds and even using taxpayer dollars for personal use.
No wonder residents call her the “worst mayor in America.”
A May 2023 taxpayer-funded trip to Las Vegas that resulted in allegations of serious misconduct and claims that Henyard retaliated against an aide and a police officer who reported alleged sexual misconduct on the part of a village trustee, is also part of the investigation.
In March, Henyard reportedly vetoed an investigation, unanimously approved by The Dolton Village Board, into allegations that she misused funds for lavish expenses and a costly $1 million security detail.
A group of Dolton trustees recently hired failed former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who let her city burn with rampant crime and violence, to investigate Henyard for a hefty $400 an-hour fee.
Now, Fox 32 Chicago reports that on Friday, the FBI served subpoenas at the Dolton City Hall:
“I can confirm that the FBI was conducting court-authorized law enforcement activity in that area today. Department of Justice policy prevents the FBI from commenting on the nature of any investigation that may be occurring. There is no further information available for release at this time,” the FBI said in a statement.
Four agents from the FBI paid a visit to Dolton around 2:30 p.m. They served two federal subpoenas. The first one was for employment records, personnel files, and disciplinary reports for 25 Dolton employees, including three police officers and Keith Freeman. Freeman, who is the village administrator, was charged with bankruptcy fraud on Monday.
The second subpoena was served specifically for Freeman, asking for records of all companies associated with him and possible ties to the village.
On Friday night, Mayor Henyard released a statement via Facebook saying, “To all you clowns thats apart of the circus. Misery needs company, I pray for you all. Stop chasing Fake News.”
She then included a screenshot suggesting the FBI’s statement, and reports from multiple news outlets, is “fake news.”

Which is more important to you when choosing a healthcare profession to help in the battle for your life? An extensive background in research and surgical experience? Or a statement of the surgeon’s contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI)?
Apparently, for UC Davis, the answer is contributions to DEI.
Four years of medical school and a challenging residency focused on saving lives is simply not enough to become a surgeon at UC Davis.
According to a report at The College Fix, surgical oncologist applicants must also submit a “Statement of Contributions to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion” to be considered for employment.
According to the job listing, “Contributions to diversity, equity, and inclusion documented in the application file will be used to evaluate applicants.”
Further, the University policy requires all faculty applicants to “submit a statement about their past, present, and future contributions to promoting equity, inclusion, and diversity in their professional careers,” yet both a “Statement of Teaching” and a “Statement of Research” are listed as optional.
A former associate dean at the University of Pennsylvania medical school criticized the requirement.
“The key to being a good surgical oncologist is having vast knowledge about how to treat cancer,” Dr. Stanley Goldfarb, chairman of Do No Harm, told The Fix via a media statement.
“That and a strong ethical sense should be the only requirements,” he said. “A surgical oncologist’s political ideas are irrelevant to his or her ability to treat patients.”
“There is no evidence that DEI adherence does anything to improve medical care,” he said. “There is a great deal of concern that adherence to DEI lead to divisiveness and mistrust on the part of patients.”

In November 2023, socialist Pope Francis removed Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas.
Strickland, appointed in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI, had been vocal in his criticism of the Vatican’s approach towards LGBTQ issues, abortion, and the discussion around allowing priests to marry.
In June of this year, the Holy Father, Pope Francis, directed that an Apostolic Visitation of the Diocese of Tyler should be conducted. Bishop Dennis Sullivan of Camden and Bishop Emeritus Gerald Kicanas of Tucson were appointed to conduct the Visitation. The Prelates conducted an exhaustive inquiry into all aspects of the governance and leadership of the Diocese of Tyler by its Ordinary, Bishop Joseph Strickland.
As a result of the Visitation, the recommendation was made to the Holy Father that the continuation in office of Bishop Strickland was not feasible. After months of careful consideration by the Dicastery for Bishops and the Holy Father, the decision was reached that the resignation of Bishop Strickland should be requested. Having been presented with that request on November 9, 2023, Bishop Strickland declined to resign from office. Thereafter, on November 11, 2023, the Holy Father removed Bishop Strickland from the Office of Bishop of Tyler.
Archbishop Carlo Maria Viganò characterized the dismissal as “a cowardly form of authoritarianism.”
But despite Pope Francis’ efforts to silence him, Bishop Strickland continues to speak out against the “powerful forces in the Vatican doing their best to dismantle every vestige of supernatural faith.”

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Jesus Christ is the fullness of the revelation of supernatural truth that guides humanity to our eternal destiny. He is the cornerstone on which our lives must be built because, as He reveals supernatural truth to us fully and completely, He reveals who we are and that for which we were created. Jesus commissioned His Apostles to share His supernatural truth with the world, and this is also our mission. If we recognize and embrace this mission, bringing this truth to humanity, then we must acknowledge that, after nearly 2,000 years, we have only just begun. When Christ prayed “that all may be one,” He prayed that all humanity might be unified in Him, thus bringing them also into unity with His Father and His Holy Spirit – one God in Three Persons.
The entire Judeo-Christian story (which begins with the supernatural truth revealed and recorded in the Hebrew Scriptures, the Old Testament) is the story of God revealing supernatural truth to those created in His image and likeness. The earliest books of the Bible offer numerous theophanies – manifestations of God’s supernatural presence – but Jesus Christ is beyond a theophany. He IS God among us, Emmanuel. It is critical that we note how Jesus came to us: He came in profound humility. The humility of Jesus Christ is not only a profound manifestation of His goodness; His humility is the blueprint for how we who are created by God should embrace the supernatural truth He has revealed to us. Jesus tells us that we must “become like children” if we wish to follow Him and to live the supernatural truth He manifests.
In order to incorporate the supernatural truth that is Jesus Christ into our human reality, He knew that we needed a vehicle, a vessel, that would guide us. Thus, Christ established His Church, which is made manifest in the world as the Catholic Church. Throughout Christian history, many have attempted to return to Christ in a pure and original way, but if in this laudable desire for purification we leave His Church, then we have truly lost our way.
The ultimate purpose of the Church that Jesus Christ established is the salvation of souls. This fulfills the divine mandate with which this letter begins: that it is our mission to bring Jesus Christ, Truth Incarnate, to humanity as the revelation of supernatural truth. We see also that His Church is essential as the instrument that Christ has ordained to guide humanity in the supernatural truth that He reveals.
It is of the utmost importance that humanity embrace Jesus Christ and His Church. However, the tremendous challenge of this is seen clearly in these times as His chosen vessel, the Church, which is plagued with human weakness and sinfulness, struggles against the One Who has brought her into being: God’s Divine Son. The Church is holy, yet composed of sinful human beings, and although guided by supernatural truth, she often gets bogged down in and even corrupted by things of this natural world. The image of the statue in the Book of Daniel comes to mind; the statue with feet partly of clay and partly of iron is an apt image of the Church. She has the iron of supernatural truth, but she also has the fragile pottery of the world, which often falls to dust. In our time, it appears that the overwhelming presence of fragile clay in the Church threatens to obliterate the supernatural truth that is her heart and soul. Christ has promised us that the Church will not be obliterated by the powers of Hell, but we must make it our daily choice to live the supernatural truth that is Jesus Christ.
It is imperative that we also acknowledge that this tendency for the Church to be dominated by the fragile clay of this world – to the detriment of her true mission to build supernatural faith – has been gaining momentum for more than a century. More than one papacy is seriously implicated in the lack of supernatural faith necessary in order to push back against the tidal wave of apostasy. The Oath against Modernism promulgated by Pope St. Pius X in 1910 was the best papal attempt to oppose the dominance of “fragile clay,” and since his death, support for this has weakened, until it has now been all but discarded, like so many other aspects of this intention that did not promote a cozier relationship with the world.
As devastating as all of this is to the mission of the Bride of Christ – the salvation of souls – we face an even greater challenge to this mission in our time. Too many prelates not only exhibit a lack of supernatural faith on their part, but they are also “hell-bent” on eliminating every vestige of supernatural faith from the Church. This has been building momentum over many decades, but we must open our eyes to the crescendo of apostasy that we are now witnessing.
Whether in liturgy, doctrine, or simple everyday piety of Catholics, too many prelates and powerful forces in the Vatican are doing their best to dismantle every vestige of supernatural faith, as well as any understanding of the supernatural truth that Jesus Christ has revealed to us.
One indication of the blitzkrieg against supernatural faith that has been evident in this time is that when purportedly supernatural manifestations of God’s presence appear among us, they are ignored or immediately declared false without any real investigation by the shepherds. The Church in the past has acted as a safeguard, as is her sacred responsibility, against any alleged supernatural manifestations that parade as truth but that may instead be the work of Satan and his minions. However, we now find ourselves in a situation where some (if not many) of the shepherds in the Church, upon the occurrence of a possible supernatural work in their diocese, would attempt to immediately shut it down or proclaim it as false with no investigation, in the fear that it might shine a light into the darkness, especially when they themselves are “bottom-dwellers” and, therefore, dwellers in this darkness.
In these times, God has not left us alone. Throughout the history of the Church, He has manifested Himself through supernatural works outside the boundaries of this physical world to remind us that He is present among us, and these supernatural works have not ceased. Furthermore, in the darkness that has now infiltrated His Church, He continues to send, as He did of old, warnings and admonitions through the mouths of “modern-day prophets and saints” to call His people back to Himself.
We must, however, with due diligence and supernatural faith, pray, discern, and be ever on guard against that which parades as good but is indeed an evil deception. We, of course, have looked, and still look, to the Church and her shepherds to keep us safe from evil deceptions and to point us to what is good, but what do we do in this time when many of the shepherds who are charged with guarding the flock are now in league with the wolves?
In a time such as this, it is of the utmost importance that we walk close to Christ, that we abide in His Sacred Heart, and that we sit often with Him so that we might come to know Him well. Of course, what is most important of all is that we worthily partake of Him as often as possible – Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity – in the Holy Eucharist. Belief in the real, supernatural presence of Christ in the Eucharist is the heart and soul of our faith.
May the greatest manifestation of supernatural truth, the Holy Eucharist, provide us the strength we need for the continuing journey of Christ’s disciples in the twenty-first century. Let us be invigorated by our Eucharistic faith so that supernatural truth is really present among us, and may His Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity nourish us and guide us deeper and deeper into His Sacred Heart – the Heart of supernatural truth.

On Saturday, the House of Representatives passed three bills to fund $95 billion in foreign aid, including an additional $60.84 billion to Ukraine.
The bill also included $26.3 billion in assistance to Israel.
According to Congressman Tim Burchett (R-TN), however, $6 billion of the aid earmarked for Israel will end up in the hands of pro-Hamas NGOs.
Burchett shared on social media, “One of the more troubling bills is the Israeli aid. But unfortunately, it had about $6 billion in there going to Hamas, we think, to these NGOs, non-government organizations.”
“So, it’s a rough day for the taxpayers… 96 billion dollars that we do not have, that we are borrowing.”

A popular Australian preschool animated TV series has introduced its first same-sex couple.
‘Bluey’ launched in 2018 and was added to Disney+ in 2019, reaching an international audience. The series features seven-year-old sibling puppies Bluey and Bingo, who focus on life lessons geared toward pre-schoolers.
In the season finale, and after over 150 episodes, in the episode ‘The Sign,’ one of Bluey’s friends discusses his ‘two moms’ saying, “When my guinea pig ran away, my mums told me he might come back, but he didn’t.”
While the reference was subtle, LGBTQ outlets celebrated another opportunity to indoctrinate young children.
Outlet Unilad said the moment “is considered a step forward for LGBTQ representation and the normalization of same-sex couples appearing within kid’s television.”
Pink News called the inclusion “groundbreaking saying, “Disney+’s animated preschool show Bluey has joined the likes of Peppa Pig and Paw Patrol as a kids’ show that includes LGBTQ+ characters and topics.”

The UN Commission on the Status of Women recently denigrated stay-at-home motherhood calling a woman’s devotion to her family ‘unpaid care work’ adding that mothers in general are victims of “gender inequality.”
They then followed with a call for Marxist state-funded daycare.
Kimberly Ells at Mercator, who attended the UN’s Commission on the Status of Women, said it was heavily focused on “unpaid care work.”
Ells wrote, “I spent a week listening to an endless parade of events focused almost exclusively on ending poverty by eliminating ‘unpaid care work.”
“What is ‘unpaid care work,’ you might ask? It is work done in the home without specific monetary payment. Most people would call that kind of work simply being alive,” she continued. “It could also be called running your own castle. But the forces that converged at the United Nations this spring called it an atrocity.”
To be an “unpaid care worker”—especially if you’re a woman—was seen as an afront to human decency. And because on average women worldwide do more labour in the home than men, people in UN circles call this “gender inequality,” “gender injustice,” and even “gender-based violence.” I’m not kidding. I heard these phrases repeated time after time in events sponsored by countries and organizations the world over. While there is such a thing as genuine gender-based violence, vacuuming the floor for free isn’t it.
Will freeing women from children will make everyone rich and happy?
So how do we solve the grave and unjust gender-inequalities supposedly manifested by women mopping more floors or changing more diapers than men? I saw only one solution proposed by UN partners and it was repeated over and over again: provide state-funded universal daycare for all families. That way, they say, the world can unite behind women and propel them out of the home and into the workforce where they can enjoy true freedom and engage in “socially productive work.”
With ‘women’ like Katie Neeves, who serves as the UK’s new UN delegatefor the Commission on the Status of Women, no wonder actual women are being denigrated.

At the Commission on the Status of Women’s (CSW) annual meeting in New York in March, the Saudi ambassador to the UN, Abdulaziz Alwasil, was elected as chair of the commission with no dissent.
The commission, which focuses on promoting gender equality and empowering women around the world, is now being led by a country with an “abysmal” record on women’s rights.

Sherine Tadros, the head of the New York office of Amnesty International, told The Guardian, “Whoever is in the chair, which is now Saudi Arabia, is in a key position to influence the planning, the decisions, the taking stock, and looking ahead, in a critical year for the commission.”
“Saudi Arabia is now at the helm, but Saudi Arabia’s own record on women’s rights is abysmal, and a far cry from the mandate of the commission.”
The Personal Status Law passed in 2022, which the kingdom points to as proof of “progress,” still requires that women must have the permission of a male guardian to marry regardless of their age or former marital status.
If a woman refuses to have sex with her husband, does not live in the marital home, or dares to refuse to travel with him without a “legitimate excuse,” withdrawal of financial support is justified under the law.
More disturbingly, women who openly speak out for human rights reforms can be imprisoned, face travel bans, and are unable to speak freely.
Americans for Democracy and Human Rights in Bahrain has publicly decried the decision.
However, Saudi Arabia systematically promotes well-established gender discrimination laws and portrays them as progressive. For example, the 2022 Personal Status Law has been criticized for perpetuating the male guardianship system and codifying discrimination against women. The law fails to provide adequate protection for women from domestic violence and makes them vulnerable to psychological abuse. Men often have the right to limit financial support to their wives if disputes arise. Therefore, the law codifies (and protects) men’s guardianship powers in Saudi Arabia. Male guardianship is a system in which women depend on a man who has the authority to make a range of crucial decisions.
However, this is not the only critical aspect of women’s discrimination in Saudi Arabia. For years, the Kingdom has arrested women’s rights activists who campaigned to end of the male guardianship system. One of the famous cases is that of Manahil Al-Otaibi, who was a victim of enforced disappearance and was imprisoned because of her support for women’s rights on social media platforms. However, women demanding human rights reforms and others who were imprisoned, are facing travel bans and are unable to speak freely.
Hillel Neuer, an international human rights lawyer and Executive Director of United Nations Watch points out that in today’s absurd UN, China sits on the Human Rights Council, Saudi Arabia chairs the Women’s Rights Commission, and the Islamic Republic of Iran chairs the Disarmament Commission.

On Thursday, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis signed House Bill 931 into law.
The law allows school districts and charter schools to “adopt a policy to authorize volunteer school chaplains to provide support, services, and programs to students as assigned by the district school board or charter school governing board.”
The Governor also made it clear that the program will not be imposed upon public school students, sharing that it is “totally voluntary for a parent or a student to participate.”
In subsequent comments, DeSantis made it clear that the new measure would not open the door for members of the Satanic Temple to be public school chaplains.
The Florida Phoenix reports, “Some have said that if you do a school chaplain program that, somehow, you’re going to have satanists running around in all our schools. We’re not playing those games in Florida. That is not a religion. That is not qualified to be able to participate in this. So, we’re going to be using common sense when it comes to this. You don’t have to worry about it.”
Satanists are displeased.
The Christian Post reports the co-founder of The Satanic Temple responded to the new law with a request to debate DeSantis.
Lucien Greaves, co-founder of The Satanic Temple, which oversees After School Satan Clubs and planned to take advantage of the law, argued in a series of social media posts summarizing his comments to media that DeSantis’ words “hold no authority” because the U.S. Constitution “guarantees equal treatment under the law.” The group has threatened to sue if its members were prohibited from participating in the chaplain program.
Greaves stressed DeSantis “invited Satanic chaplains into public schools, whether he likes it or not” because he is “not at liberty to amend the Constitution by fiat.” He also noted that The Satanic Temple is recognized by the IRS as a tax-exempt religious organization.
After a call with DeSantis’ office on Friday, Greaves announced he instructed the organization’s Executive Director of Operations to send a formal proposal for a debate between DeSantis and Greaves.
The Satanic Temple has fought to hold After School Satan Clubs in school districts across the country, including Pennsylvania, Virginia, California, North Carolina, Ohio and Illinois.

Mike Rowe, the former host of the popular TV show “Dirty Jobs,” has a way of telling it like it is.
He has consistently criticized America’s dependence on higher education as the only path to success.
In 2008, Rowe created the mikeroweWORKS Foundation to launch a national PR campaign for skilled labor.
The website shares, “America has become slowly but undeniably disconnected from the most fundamental elements of civilization—food, energy, education, and the very nature of work itself.”
“Over the last 30 years, America has convinced itself that the best path for the most people is an expensive, four-year degree. Pop culture has glorified the “corner office job” while unintentionally belittling the jobs that helped build the corner office. As a result, our society has devalued any other path to success and happiness. Community colleges, trade schools, and apprenticeship programs are labeled as “alternative.” Millions of well-intended parents and guidance counselors see apprenticeships and on-the-job training opportunities as “vocational consolation prizes,” best suited for those not cut out for the brass ring: a four-year degree. The push for higher education has coincided with the removal of vocational arts from high schools nationwide. And the effects of this one-two punch have laid the foundation for a widening skills gap and massive student loan debt.”
Rowe’s concern with what is happening on college campuses, where the focus on a woke agenda has supplanted a robust education meant to create productive members of society, has never been more apparent.
In the last several days, protests have become even more violent, including assaults on Jewish students with chaos at Columbia University in New York City.
Protests have occurred at campuses across the country.
Rowe took X to share his concerns and contrast that chaos with what is happening at trade schools.
“For a guy who runs a foundation that sends young people to trade schools all over America – trade schools where I’m pleased to report, no one is calling for the extermination of Jews – today’s headlines are once again offering another excellent reason to consider redirecting whatever financial support you might earmark for the Ivy League, to the mikeroweWORKS Foundation. Why? Because the Ivy League has truly lost its mind.
Consider the latest madness at Columbia University, where the president, Minochuhe Shafik, has announced a new round of remote learning – effective immediately – in response to a noisy rabble of thugs and bullies calling for the eradication of Israel.
If I had a kid at Columbia, I’d be livid.
It’s simply mind-boggling that the president of this university would rather consign her students to another crucible of remote learning, than permanently expel the protesters. I mean, seriously, what does it take to get expelled from Columbia? These creeps are on camera, literally screaming into the faces of Jewish students.
“They yelled at us to go back to Poland, said we have no culture, and chanted, ‘Strike, strike Tel Aviv,” said one terrified student. Followed by, “Burn Tel Aviv to the ground,” “Go Hamas, we love you, we support your rockets, too.”
In a now-infamous image, one demonstrator appeared before a group of counter-protesters holding Israeli and American flags with a sign pointing in their direction that read, “Al-Qasam’s next targets.”
That’s what you get for $68,000 a year at Columbia – an administration who cowers in the face of thugs and bullies, and a university president who would rather make your kids try to learn off campus, than take a truly hard line with those students calling for the murder of Jews.
For the love of God, expel them. Calling for murder is not protected speech.

South Carolina State Rep. Adam Morgan is running in the Republican primary for the 4th Congressional District primary against U.S. Rep. William Timmons.
Morgan was elected to the SC House of Representatives in 2018 as one of the youngest members of the Legislature.
In 2021, he and fellow conservative SC House Representatives founded the SC Freedom Caucus, where he serves as Chair, which actively fights for conservative values in legislation.
While his primary has not garnered much attention, Morgan recently went viral for his interaction with House Minority Leader Todd Rutherford (D-Columbia) during a March 2023 debate over the State Legislature’s approval of a $1.3 billion economic development package.
Matt Gaetz recently reshared the video, putting it back on the national radar, saying, “Inject this into my veins.”
Rutherford: Your suggestion is we should listen to the people back home, in your district, rather than the people at Commerce that have been successful at bringing these mega-deals to South Carolina.
Morgan: Mr. Rutherford, I don’t think that you could have espoused a philosophy that disagrees more fundamentally than me.
I completely disagree with you, and I think that you believe what you just said.
But no, I 100% am going to listen to the people back home who I represent in this House. And you should listen to the 40,000 people in your area and not the bureaucrats at commerce and not the lobbyists and not the multibillion dollar international corporations.
You should listen to your constituents like I am.
So yes, I will always fall back on the common sense of the wonderful people from Taylor’s and Greenville East Side far more than I will ever listen to unelected bureaucrats, other representatives in here who have been here for far too long and have managed a whole lot of these deals and far more than I will ever listen to any member out there.

With a smile on his face and glee in his voice, Keating handed Zelensky a list of the Uniparty members who voted to send billions of dollars to Ukraine and put foreign interests over American citizens.
Keating can barely contain his joy as he hands over the vote tally.

Dr. Cass concludes that a lack of research and evidence on transgender medical interventions, such as puberty blockers and body-altering surgeries, is failing children.
Cass’s prior findings led to the banning of puberty blockers from children outside of clinical research in the UK.
After the publication of the landmark 388-page report, Dr. Cass shared that she is now under constant attack.
In an interview with The Times, Dr. Cass shared the disturbing backlash she is facing for simply sharing her well-researched report and discussed her concern about disinformation spreading in the aftermath.
She revealed that she has been sent “vile” abusive emails, has been given security advice, and has been told not to travel on public transport.
Cass said: “There are some pretty vile emails coming in at the moment. Most of which my team is protecting me from, so I’m not getting to see them.” Some of them contained “words I wouldn’t put in a newspaper”, she said.
She added: “What dismays me is just how childish the debate can become. If I don’t agree with somebody then I’m called transphobic or a Terf [trans-exclusionary radical feminist].”

Asked if the abuse had taken a toll on her, she said: “No … it’s personal, but these people don’t know me.“I’m much, much more upset and frustrated about all this disinformation than I am about the abuse. The thing that makes me seethe is the misinformation.”
One of the particularly vexing examples of the misinformation being spread is that Cass used only two out of 100 studies for the report.
Labour MP Dawn Butlers perpetuated this misinformation when she told the House of Commons, “There are around 100 studies that have not been included in this Cass report, and we need to know why.”
Cass refutes that claim, explaining that researchers appraised every paper “but pulled the results from the ones that were high quality and medium quality, which was 60 out of 103.”
She also shared that six clinics refused to cooperate with research focused on the long-term impact of prescribing puberty blockers and sex hormones, which she called “co-ordinated” and “ideologically driven.”

Cal Poly Humboldt in Arcata, California, has closed its campus through Wednesday after pro-Palestinian protesters occupied and barricaded themselves inside Siemens Hall Monday evening, where students also attacked police officers.

Ultimately, the building was shut down after they did not leave, Aileen Yoo, a university spokesperson, told SFGATE.
The university is “concerned about the safety of students who remain in the building” and is asking them to leave, Yoo said.

Officials at Cal Poly Humboldt confirmed to SFGATE that three students were arrested in connection to the protest.
At approximately 8:30 p.m. Monday, the university announced that the campus would be closed through Wednesday because it believes the protest is a “dangerous and volatile situation.”
“The University is deeply concerned about the safety of the protestors who have barricaded themselves inside the building,” the statement read. “The University is urgently asking that the protestors listen to directives from law enforcement that have responded and to peacefully leave the building.”

On Tuesday, Biden traveled to Tampa, Florida, to participate in a campaign event and give a speech at Hillsborough Community College.
After wrapping his speech at Hillsborough, Biden headed over to a campaign office in Tampa where he peppered amongst a litany of lies about his life, time to cheerlead for abortion and thoroughly enrage Catholics.
During the rally, an abortion promoter voiced complaints about Florida’s six-week limit for abortions, during which Biden turned his back on his faith and his God and made the sign of the cross.

Catholic Vote’s President Brian Burch said, in a statement, “Biden’s decision to make the Sign of the Cross in support of abortion extremism is a despicable charade that attempts to co-opt a sacred practice in support of his new abortion religion. His gesture openly mocks the Christian belief in the sanctity of life.”
“There is no divine support for destroying the lives of innocent children, and he should know better. Biden’s gesture suggests he is either terribly naive, or senile, or callously indifferent to the foundational beliefs of millions of Christians in America.”
Biden’s commitment to Catholic doctrine and teachings has been called into question by many within the Church.
On April 5, Michigan Bishop Robert Gruss of the Diocese of Saginaw lectured at the Cathedral of Mary of the Assumption and discussed Biden.
Gruss said that as far as his opinion of Biden, he pities him.
“I don’t have any anger towards the president. I feel sorry for him. I’m not angry at him, he’s just stupid,” Gruss said.
The congregation laughed again, prompting Gruss to clarify, “It’s not stupidity in the derogatory way, it’s stupidity in the sense of […] he doesn’t understand the Catholic faith.”
Mother Miriam of the Lamb of God, formerly Rosalind Moss, a Catholic nun, publicly criticized Joe Biden, calling him “inept and evil” and suggesting that reelecting former President Donald Trump would be “an act of God.”
Wilton Cardinal Gregory, the Washington Archdiocese, called Biden a ‘cafeteria Catholic.’
“I would say that he’s very sincere about his faith. But like a number of Catholics, he picks and chooses dimensions of the faith to highlight while ignoring or even contradicting other parts. There is a phrase that we have used in the past, a ‘cafeteria Catholic’ — you choose that which is attractive, and dismiss that which is challenging,” the Archbishop said.

On Wednesday, Israel Defense Forces carried out a large wave of strikes against 40+ sites belonging to the terror group.
Israeli Defense Minister Yoav Gallant claimed that the military has killed half of Hezbollah’s commanders in southern Lebanon.
“The other half are hiding or abandoning southern Lebanon,” said Yoav Gallant.
He said there would be further action in the months to come: “The coming period will be decisive” as Israel is facing “a number of alternatives” to bring security to the north.
“Half of the Hezbollah commanders in south Lebanon have been eliminated… and the other half hide and abandon south Lebanon to IDF operations,” Gallant said, after holding an assessment at the Northern Command headquarters in Safed with the chief of the command, Maj. Gen. Ori Gordin, and other top officers.
He said Israel’s main goal in the north was to return tens of thousands of Israelis displaced by Hezbollah’s daily attacks to their homes.
“We are dealing with a number of alternatives in order to establish this matter, and the coming period will be decisive in this regard,” Gallant said.
As the defense minister toured the Northern Command, the IDF said some 40 Hezbollah targets in the town of Ayta ash-Shab were hit within just several minutes by fighter jets and artillery shelling.
The strikes followed the terror group firing anti-tank missiles at northern Israel.

In his latest episode, Uncensored: Systemic Racism Against White Americans, Tucker Carlson asks, “There is systemic racism in the United States against whites. Everyone knows it. Nobody says it. How come?”
Jeremy Carl, author of The Unprotected Class, How anti-White Racism Is Tearing America Apart joined him to discuss the issue.
Tucker Carlson: If somehow you were able to be airlifted directly or teleported directly from 1994 to 2024, you’d notice an awful lot of changes. Primary among them would be the internet. But the biggest change you’d probably notice about our public conversation is how white people were so openly attacked and denigrated. Yes, a racial group. So in 1994, you were about 30 years past the civil rights movement. And in 1994, the operating assumption of virtually everyone in the United States was the main lesson of the civil rights movement. Of the letter from the Birmingham Jail on the Edmund Pettus Bridge, and all the different sacred moments that we grew up hearing about.
The main lesson of those moments was it is immoral, in fact, unacceptable to attack people on the basis of their race.
So then, if you fast forward 30 years to find the same country engaged in a public hate frenzy against people because of their race, you would find that bewildering. How did this happen? Of course, there would be the discrimination, the institutional racism of hurting people on the basis of their race in hiring, in admissions to schools, in federal contracting, in promotions, there would be all of that.
But there would also be the public manifestation of it, of saying out loud, “We just don’t like you. You’re not as good. You are morally defective because of your skin color.” You say this about white people, people who founded the United States. You’d be shocked by that. And then to turn on the TV and see the President of the United States do the very same thing. You’d think maybe you’d been drinking ayahuasca. You’d see Joe Biden say things like this:
Biden Soundbites:” History has thrust one more urgent task on us. Will we be the generation that finally wipes out the stain of racism from our national character? We’ve all seen the injustice on the neck of Black Americans. Racism, nativism, fear, demonization, have long torn us apart.
“But a black parent, no matter how wealthy or how poor they are, has to teach their child. When you’re walking down the street, don’t have a hoodie on when you go across the street.”
“Domestic terrorism from white supremacists is the most lethal terrorist threat in the homeland.”
News Soundbite: If I were your daughter, what advice would you give me the next time I am stopped by the police?
Biden Soundbite: If you’re my daughter, you’d be a Caucasian girl and you wouldn’t be pulled over.
Carlson: White supremacy is the most lethal threat to the United States. White people are the threat. They are evil and they are dangerous. That’s not just a senile President making that one statement. That is the people in charge of the country reinforcing that statement and that theme every single day of the year, not just by their words, but with their deeds.
What is this? Why does no one mention it’s happening? Why does anyone who does mention it’s happening get attacked as a white supremacist for complaining about racism? And maybe more important, where does it go? Is there any other ending to the story but hurting people physically, lots of people? Could we have a resolution that doesn’t look like Rwanda? J
Jeremy Carl is an author who’s thought a lot about this. He’s got a brand new book called The Unprotected Class, How anti-White Racism Is Tearing America Apart.
He joins us now. Jeremy, thanks so much for coming on. It may be a an advantage or maybe disadvantage of being a little bit older that it’s this is like the one thing you never thought or I never thought you would see in America, which is our leaders openly attacking people on the basis of their race. Just 60 years after the civil rights movement that supposedly taught us the opposite lesson in the Civil Rights Act. So how did this happen, do you think?
Jeremy Carl: Well, it’s an interesting question, right. And I think you just hit on a key point, which is 60 years. We are as far now from the Civil Rights Act as they were basically from the Wright brothers. So there’s been a lot of time that’s kind of, a lot of water under the bridge since that time. And a lot of things have happened. And I think it was begun with very sincere intentions, but I think rather quickly, certainly, you know, 10, 20, 30 years down the line, it got really hijacked to the point that we went from trying to treat people equally to what has eventually amounted to reverse racism.
Carlson: Right? Or just I guess I would just call it racism, because it seems like the standard would remain the same. No matter the race of the person being discriminated against. You can’t attack people. You can’t punish people for the color of their skin for how they were born. So like that seems like a pretty easy principle to uphold, is pretty straightforward.
Carl: Well, I would agree with you, Tucker, but it’s, you know, nonetheless, we’re really seeing throughout, and this is what I really wrote the book about, throughout many different areas of endeavor, and whether that be when we’re looking at how, crime gets talked about to what’s going on in Hollywood, to the educational system and monuments coming down and everything you could imagine, kind of the white person is kind of the great enemy. It’s the, the kind of, the evil guy in 1984, the kind of two minutes of hate we have to have against him. The Emanuel Goldstein figure, kind of is the white person in particularly the Democratic Party’s discourse today.
Carlson: What’s interesting, though, is it typically when you see these moments of scapegoating, which are clearly, you know, kind of inherent to people, I mean, they pop up in every society at every time through history, like there’s something in people that wants to separate a small group and like, blame all its problems in that group. But it’s usually it’s the minority. Of course, you know, the persecuted minority, whites are still, for at least as of today, probably change soon, of course, but they are still the majority in the country. So like, have you ever seen anything like that happen?
Carl: You know, I haven’t Tucker. It’s it’s kind of amazing to watch because this is whites are still a 58% majority. It’s no longer a majority of the under 18, but of adults it’s still a solid majority. It’s a super majority of our voters, still, in every presidential election, although just barely in the last presidential election. And yet they’ve become this figure of hate. And it’s really been kind of fascinating and disturbing to watch and to kind of think about why that happened.
And one of the things I suggest in my book is that really, ultimately, this is a legitimizing ideology for ultimately resource transfer and resource confiscation. And that takes, the form of some of this reparations conversation or land back or some of these other things, and they sort of start out on the extreme left and everybody goes, oh, well, that’s silly. That’s never going to happen. And then all of a sudden, you know, it is happening and you’re a racist if you think it’s a bad idea.
Carlson: Yeah. I mean, of course it’s happened and it’s still happening in other countries. You know, Rhodesia became Zimbabwe and the whites were killed and their land was taken and their money stolen. And it’s happening in South Africa right now. Of course, we’re not supposed to look at it, but it is happening, actually. I wonder why people are, why the majority is putting up with it?
Carl: Well, that’s a good question, Tucker and I, I can’t even fully I don’t have the perfect answer for that myself. And ultimately, I one of the main reasons I wrote this book is because I don’t think the majority, I don’t think anybody should be putting up with it, regardless of race. I mean, we shouldn’t have, we shouldn’t be putting up with racial discrimination in our society in 2024.
But I think, you know, kind of white people, they’re almost it’s like a Stockholm syndrome, almost where they’re they’re like in a hostage mode in terms of some of the ways that they’re thinking where they they sort of are in love with their captors. And they’re not able to kind of accept what’s going on, and particularly on the left, it’s this sort of notion that, because we, of course, like every nation, have had an imperfect past, that white people have some hereditary blood guilt. And I think the balance of American history just shows that that’s a really myopic and childish way to look at our history in our country.
Carlson: Well, it’s demonstrably absurd if America is so racist, if systemic racism is such a barrier, then why are nonwhite people moving here by the millions. So obviously that’s silly, but it’s a little weird to say that, you know, you hate whites, but you need to live in a country founded by whites who systems are Anglo systems like that. I mean, maybe I’m being too logical here, but it doesn’t make any sense.
Carl: No, it doesn’t. And I mean it sort of. It points to some of the absurdity here. And you also touched that. Of course, people from all sorts of different backgrounds are clamoring at the door. We’re right now dealing with this, of course, with illegal immigration. And even if you look at some of these groups and again, something I discuss in the book, there are all sorts of nonwhite ethnicities in this country among immigrants and among citizens, in which, particularly among Asian American groups, but not exclusively. I mean, if you were to even look at Nigerian Americans, or particularly Igbo Americans, for example, they would have an average, higher, income than the average white American. And so this kind of notion that whites are sort of on the top is really a selective editing of any story, no matter how true that belies that or any statistics that belie that. It’s one of the reasons you actually see Asian Americans frequently eliminated from these comparison sets when they’re talked about, because it doesn’t tell the story that, the left wants to tell.

The Gateway Pundit reported on Woke ‘Reacher’ star Alan Ritchson coming under fire after an interview with The Hollywood Reporter (THR) slamming President Trump, MAGA voters, and police officers.
He told THR, “I’m a Christian quite simply because of what Jesus calls us to do. Love other people until death. It doesn’t mean we’re all to be hung on a cross, but how can I suffer for you? That is a beautiful thing.”
He added, “Christians today have become the most vitriolic tribe. It is so antithetical to what Jesus was calling us to be and to do,” before then attacking President Trump.
Ritchson continues, without merit, “Trump is a rapist and a con man, and yet the entire Christian church seems to be treat him like he’s their poster child and it’s unreal,” Ritchson adding, “I don’t understand it.”
Ritchson also addressed the death of Breonna Taylor, a 26-year-old who was shot and killed during a drug warrant search in Louisville, Kentucky, in 2020.
Addressing the image the actor shared in August of 2020, the actor told THR, “That was a tragic case,” adding, “Cops get away with murder all the time, and the fact that we can’t really hold them accountable for their improprieties is disturbing to me.”
“We should completely reform the way that we do it. I mean, you shouldn’t have to spend more time getting an education as a hairstylist than as a cop who’s armed with a deadly weapon,” he went on to propose. “We should make it very hard for people to make mistakes or abuse power in our institutions.”
Now, The Fraternal Order of Police has responded to Ritchson’s comments on X.
“While Mr. Ritchson gets his face and forehead powdered on set, our officers are out doing a job he doesn’t have the courage to do.”
“While he gets to hear loud pops and have blanks fired at him, our officers feel the heat of the bullets as they pierce their skin. There are no take two’s or take three’s in real life Mr. Ritchson.”

The Gateway Pundit reported on the violent rhetoric of student Khymani James, who is an alleged leader of the Hamas-supporting encampment at Columbia University.
A video shared on social media shows segments of a meeting he participated in with University officials in January, punctuated with clips of his own commentary.
In the meeting, a Columbia official read one of his social media posts in which he discusses killing Zionists, and he was asked, “Do you see why that’s problematic in any way?” to which James proclaimed, “No.”
“I feel very comfortable, very comfortable, calling for those people to die,” James said.

Despite James’ violent rhetoric and ideations being freely expressed and available since January, he was still allowed at Columbia and able to organize the encampment that has spread like a virus to other college campuses across the country.
According to The New York Post, on Friday, a campus spokesman confirmed that James is now not allowed at Columbia, saying, “The student in question has been banned from campus.”
They did not elaborate on whether barring James from the campus indicated a suspension or a permanent expulsion.
If it was simply James’ words that prompted action, one would think Columbia would have responded in January since they heard his violent rhetoric directly from him then.
But it was only after the video of his comments resurfaced and went viral on Thursday that the University finally took action.
It seems his words bothered the University less than people becoming aware of them.

In the wake of October 7, the exponential rise in antisemitic violence, incitement, intimidation, and harassment on and around campuses in the United States is not the product of spontaneous protests of individuals. Rather, they are tightly coordinated and well-funded by a network of radical and often antisemitic non-governmental organizations (NGOs), including Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), Jewish Voice for Peace (JVP), Within Our Lifetime, US Campaign for Palestinian Rights, and Samidoun. Under the guise of human rights and justice, these NGOs work to undermine the economic, military and other ties between US and Israel, and to besiege and divide the US Jewish community.
All of these groups have supported and justified the October 7th massacre, as well as other attacks. Many of the NGOs in the network are directly linked to designated Palestinian terror organizations.

And, as May Mailman, Director of Independent Women’s Law Center, notes, Title IX is not a college law. This will impact girls as young as those in the Headstart program, geared to children from three to five years old, those in daycare, and those in Kindergarten through 12th grade.

Last week, Tennessee Governor Bill Lee signed the ‘Baby Olivia Act’ into law.
The law requires public schools to show school children a “high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound” of unborn babies as they develop in the womb.
According to Life Site, “family life curriculum is required by Tennessee law in all counties where the teen birth rate exceeds 19.5 per 1,000 females between the ages of 15 and 19, which amount to 78 of the state’s 95 counties, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC).”
On March 18, 2024, The Tennessee State House adopted amendments #1 and #2 and passed House Bill 2435 which states:
AMENDMENT #1 rewrites the bill to, instead, enact the Baby Olivia Act, which requires a family life curriculum that directly or indirectly addresses human growth, human development, or human sexuality to include the presentation of a high-quality, computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound of at least three minutes in duration that shows the development of the brain, heart, sex organs, and other vital organs in early fetal development, such as “Meet Baby Olivia,” a high-quality, computer-generated animation developed by Live Action that shows the process of fertilization and the stages of human development inside the uterus.
AMENDMENT #2 deletes the requirement that the development of “sex organs” be included in the computer-generated animation or high-definition ultrasound of at least three minutes.
The law cites the computer-animated “Baby Olivia” video by Live Action, which depicts fertilization and fetal development from conception, as an example of an animation that would meet the law’s requirements. The video has been viewed almost 7 million times on YouTube.

The video goes on to depict milestone events of early fetal development with vivid computer animation, including the emergence of a detectable heartbeat at 22 days from conception, and recordable brain activity at six weeks from fertilization.
“[Baby Olivia] can bring her hands together at 7 ½ weeks, and separate fingers and toes emerge. She can also begin to hiccup,” the video explains.
Live Action has verified that the video accurately depicts fetal development, citingthe review and certification of “leading OBGYNs and medical professionals” including Dr. David Bolender, who has a PhD in Cell Biology, Neurobiology & Anatomy, and Michelle Cretella, MD, Executive Director of the American College of Pediatricians. The information in the video was derived from the Endowment for Human Development, a bioethics nonprofit.

The Gateway Pundit reported on a new poll from CNN that shows Donald Trump holding an impressive six-point lead over Joe Biden in the 2024 presidential race.
Even more encouraging for Trump is that with the presence of third-party candidates, he leads Biden by a staggering nine points.
Trump’s support in the poll among registered voters holds steady at 49% in a head-to-head matchup against Biden, the same as in CNN’s last national poll on the race in January, while Biden’s stands at 43%, not significantly different from January’s 45%.
Looking back, 55% of all Americans now say they see Trump’s presidency as a success, while 44% see it as a failure. In a January 2021 poll taken just before Trump left office and days after the January 6 attack on the US Capitol, 55% considered his time as president a failure.
James Carville did not take the news well.
In a clip on X, taken from a longer video shared to Politicon, Carville had strong words for young voters if Donald Trump wins.
“If they get ahold, there will be no government left, no rights left, you will live under a theocracy, you’ll end up with Christian Nationalism. But that’s all right you little f’ing 26-year-old, you don’t feel like the election is important.”

The law firm representing America’s “Worst Mayor,” Tiffany Henyard, and the Village of Dolton in a slew of lawsuits is asking to withdraw from those cases.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Dolton, Illinois, Mayor Tiffany Henyard is under FBI investigation for abusing her power after she shut down businesses that didn’t donate to her campaign.
According to Dolton citizens, Henyard uses local police to target businesses that don’t contribute to her.
She has also been accused of stealing charitable funds and even using taxpayer dollars for personal use.
The Del Galdo Law Group said it is not being paid, so it will stop appearing in federal and state court and defending Dolton and Henyard in the 22 different lawsuits.
In a letter to Henyard and trustees, the law firm said the village is facing millions of dollars in judgments from earlier cases and could potentially be on the hook for millions more in the current lawsuits.The firm also added that the village is quickly approaching the point of becoming uninsurable.

A May 2023 taxpayer-funded trip to Las Vegas that resulted in allegations of serious misconduct and claims that Henyard retaliated against an aide and a police officer who reported alleged sexual misconduct on the part of a village trustee, is also part of the investigation.
In March, Henyard reportedly vetoed an investigation, unanimously approved by The Dolton Village Board, into allegations that she misused funds for lavish expenses and a costly $1 million security detail.
A group of Dolton trustees recently hired failed former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot, who let her city burn with rampant crime and violence, to investigate Henyard for a hefty $400 an-hour fee.

Joe Biden’s DOJ/FBI is hunting down pro-life, conservative grandmas while ignoring Antifa and BLM militants and the radical Hamas supporters shutting down and terrorizing college campuses.
Under Biden, the DOJ weaponized the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, a 1994 law that prohibits interfering with anyone obtaining or providing “reproductive health services,” as a punishment for the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
After the Supreme Court ruling, Biden formed the DOJ-led Reproductive Rights Task Force to enforce the act.
According to The Epoch Times, The FACE Act has now been used 130 times against pro-life individuals but only used three times against pro-abortion protesters.
In 2020, a group of pro-life activists entered an abortion clinic in Washington DC and ‘blocked’ women from seeking abortions.
The DOJ said the group entered the facility and blocked access using their bodies, furniture, chains, and ropes and live-streamed their activity on social media, which, according to the DOJ, is a felony conspiracy.
In September 2023, Lauren Handy, 28, of Alexandria, Virginia; John Hinshaw, 67, of Levittown, New York; Heather Idoni, 61, of Linden, Michigan; William Goodman, 52, of Bronx, New York; and Herb Geraghty, 25, of Pittsburgh were found guilty of conspiring to blockade access to the clinic.
Idoni, a mother of 15, including 10 boys she and her husband adopted from Ukraine, is facing a sentence of up to 50 years in federal prison and over $1 million in fines for her participation in pro-life protests in Washington, D.C., Michigan, and Tennessee.
Sentencing for Idoni and the other pro-lifers in the Washington D.C. case will take place in mid-May.
Idoni was also convicted for praying and singing hymns in the hallway of a clinic in Tennessee, and she currently awaits trial for two additional FACE violations in Michigan.
Idoni recently spoke with LifeSiteNews and shared the abuses she alleges she has faced while incarcerated.
Heather Idoni, a defendant in the Washington, D.C., FACE (Freedom to Access Clinic Entrances) Act trials, told LifeSiteNews that she has been subjected to 22 days of solitary confinement. In an exclusive interview, she said that she received this punishment for sharing food with fellow prisoners. Idoni alleged that she was allowed to walk outside her cell only for two hours in the middle of the night each day and that the lights of her cell were continually kept on. Idoni has been in prison since she was convicted last autumn.
Cal Zastro, a fellow pro-life advocate who has also been convicted of violating the FACE Act, told LifeSiteNews that “when Idoni was brought into the courtroom for a trial in Nashville, the U.S. marshal had the middle-aged woman shackled at the wrists, waist, and feet as if she were a dangerous criminal.”
Zastro said that, upon entering the courtroom, the shocked judge ordered the shackles removed. Initially the marshal agreed to remove the shackles from only one wrist to allow Idoni freedom to write, a concession necessary for her to take notes, as she was then representing herself in court. Only at the insistence of the indignant judge were the shackles of both wrists finally removed, although the marshal left the bars around her waist and feet.

On Tuesday, House Speaker Mike Johnson announced he is expanding the investigations into antisemitism exploding on college campuses across several committees.
Johnson said at a Tuesday press conference, “Antisemitism is a virus, and because the administration and woke university presidents aren’t stepping in, we’re seeing it spread.”
He added that “nearly every committee here has a role to play in these efforts to stop the madness that has ensued.”
Since January, House Education and the Workforce Congresswoman Chair Virginia Foxx (R-N.C.) has launched multiple antisemitism investigations into Rutgers University, the University of California, Berkeley, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Columbia University, the University of Pennsylvania, and Harvard University.
At the press conference, Foxx announced an additional antisemitism hearing scheduled for next month to include Yale, UCLA, and the University of Michigan.
Foxx did not hold back when addressing the disgusting weakness shown by college administrators across the county by allowing radicals to take over their campuses.
“We have a clear message for mealy-mouthed, spineless college leaders: Congress will not tolerate your dereliction of your duty to your Jewish students,” Foxx said.
Adding, “American universities are officially put on notice that we have come to take our universities back…College is not a park for play-acting juveniles or a battleground for radical activists. Everyone affiliated with these universities will receive a healthy dose of reality – actions have consequences.”

The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill is yet another college campus flashpoint for radical leftist Hamas cheerleaders.
On Tuesday, a group of heroic UNC fraternity brothers protected a fallen American flag from a pro-Hamas mob despite a violent onslaught from the radicals.
Early Tuesday morning, UNC administrators shared a statement from Interim Chancellor Lee Roberts and Provost Chris Clemens advising protesters to leave the area and remove tents, tables, and other items by 6 a.m. or face arrest and other consequences ranging from suspension from campus to potentially “expulsion from the university, which may prevent students from graduating.”
Police confirmed approximately 30 anti-Israel demonstrators were detained for refusing to leave the encampment.
UNC Students for Justice in Palestine organized a walkout in protest of the students who were taken into custody.
According to KVIA News, during the walkout, protesters tore down barricades and took down the American flag situated on the quad, and a Palestinian flag was raised in its place.
The American flag was flying at half-mast to honor the police officers tragically killed in Charlotte earlier this week.
Chancellor Roberts personally returned with police to replace the American flag while protestors threw bottles, rocks, and water at them and yelled obscenities.
When the protestors attempted to remove the flag again, the Greek community stepped up to protect it while they sang the National Anthem.
They made sure the flag never touched the ground despite the barrage of objects thrown at them and the violent rhetoric shouted at them by the unhinged activists.
According to one student, they stood protecting the flag for more than an hour.
UNC student Guillermo Estrada shared what happened.
“Today was a sad yet empowering day at Chapel Hill. When I walked to class, I saw the Palestinian flag raised on our quad flag pole, and was immediately upset at the act that these ‘protestors’ had made. I cannot say I am fully educated on the Israel/Palestine conflict, but it upset me that my country’s flag was disrespected in order to advocate for another. Shortly after, Chancellor Roberts came with police officers to hang the flag once again. They were met with profanity, middle fingers, thrown bottles, rocks, and water.”
“When the flag was raised once again, the greek community began singing the National anthem. As the Chancellor left, the quad erupted into chaos as protestors began removing the flag once again, preparing to destroy it.”
“My fraternity brother and others ran over to hold it up, in order for it not to touch the ground. People began throwing water bottles at us, rocks, sticks, calling us profane names. We stood for an hour defending the flag so many fight to protect.”
“My parents started a new life in the United States, a country that has helped them flourish and raise two kids. I grew up in a Military community and saw first hand the sacrifices they make. I will not stand for the disrespect these “protestors” cause for the sake of another country. My LDOC will be memorable in knowing that my fraternity brothers and others fought to keep the flag up. But it was also be memorable in knowing that so many yearn to disrespect it.”

Northwestern University, located in the liberal suburban Chicago enclave of Evanston, Illinois, announced their concessions to the radical Hamas supporters who have taken over their campus to end their protests and encampment.
Two of the most notable include the promise to offer full-ride scholarships to Palestinian students and also guaranteed faculty jobs for Palestinian academics.
The University will also provide special housing for Muslim students and will “advise employers not to rescind job offers for students engaging in speech protected by the First Amendment.”
One of the “First Amendment” students recently assaulted a student journalist attempting to take a video of the encampment.

A statement from University President Michael Schill, Provost Kathleen Hagerty, and Vice-President for Student Affairs Susan Davis announced the agreement.
We have reached an agreement with a group of students and faculty who represent the majority of the protestors on Deering Meadow to bring the demonstration into compliance with University rules and policies. This agreement represents a sustainable and de-escalated path forward, and enhances the safety of all members of the Northwestern community while providing space for free expression that complies with University rules and policies.

This agreement was forged by the hard work of students and faculty working closely with members of the administration to help ensure that the violence and escalation we have seen elsewhere does not happen here at Northwestern.
This agreement also addresses our commitment to protect the safety of our entire community and to ensure the ongoing academic operations of our campus while adhering to our support for free expression. The agreement includes support for our Muslim, Arab and Palestinian students. Some of the actions have been discussed for years and some are new. Together, they will strengthen our community.
This path forward requires the immediate removal of tents on Deering Meadow, cessation of non-approved use of amplified sound and a commitment that all conduct on Deering and across campus will comply with all University rules and policies. Compliant demonstration can continue at Deering Meadow through June 1.
For any demonstrators refusing to comply with the agreed-upon path forward, the University will take action to protect the safety of the community and enforce University rules and policies. These steps will include the suspension of non-compliant students and a requirement that non-affiliated individuals leave campus.
This path forward takes into account careful observation and assessment of protests on campuses across the United States.
Reported antisemitic and anti-Muslim/Palestinian incidents over the weekend — in most cases, fueled by demonstrators who are not affiliated with Northwestern — are unacceptable and cannot continue, and this agreement will help to ensure that. Acts of antisemitism, anti-Muslim/Arab racism, and hate will not be tolerated, and community members who can be identified participating in such acts will face disciplinary action.
The University will take appropriate disciplinary action against any student, faculty or staff who violate these rules and policies.
We know more challenges remain ahead of us. But our guiding principles will never waver: protecting the safety of our entire community, preserving free expression and peaceful demonstration, denouncing and refuting intolerance and hate, and ensuring that our University can continue to operate without disruption.

Police in the Democrat-run sanctuary city of Chicago have reportedly made more than 1,000 arrests of illegal Venezuelan nationals in the first three months of 2024.
With the new numbers, the analysis has shifted from the prior argument that illegals commit less crime to one where they commit “less violent felonies.”
An analysis of the arrest data by The Chicago Tribune, in an article pushing the new narrative titled, “Migrant arrests are up, but they’re rarely accused of violent felonies,” tracks the increase.
According to the analysis, there were 609 arrests for driving/traffic offenses, nine violent felonies, 75 violent misdemeanors, and 313 other offenses listed as non-violent, with nine others listed as unknown or not listed.
The data does not include arrests of juveniles or anyone arrested by another agency.
Additionally, the data shows that a shoplifting surge shows a high share of Venezuelans’ arrests.
While much of the attention has focused on claims of violence, the Tribune analysis found a much higher than typical share of native Venezuelans’ arrests were for alleged thefts, particularly shoplifting or walking off without paying a tab.
The analysis found the biggest effect was seen around downtown, the heart of city retail shopping. In the past 19 months, for Loop theft arrests in which police listed the suspect’s birth country, roughly 1 in 5 were born in Venezuela.
The analysis found the biggest spike in one Loop beat in December and January, and in particular, the block that houses Macy’s flagship store on North State Street, where Chicago police arrested 76 adults in two months on theft charges. Of those with listed birth countries, more than 40% listed Venezuela. That doesn’t include an additional 95 people that Cook County sheriff’s deputies arrested there in a special shoplifting detail, roughly half of whom were native Venezuelans, according to the sheriff’s office.

Rep. Troy Nehls (R-TX) recently spoke with FOX and Friends to discuss the illegal alien crime wave facing the nation today as a result of Joe Biden’s open border policies and revealed that lawmakers tried to warn Secretary of Homeland Security Mayorkas about the crime risk after allowing thousands of Venezuelan gang members into the country.
Nehls said he never heard back from Mayorkas.

According to KVIA News, during the walkout, protesters tore down barricades and took down the American flag situated on the quad, and a Palestinian flag was raised in its place.
The American flag was flying at half-mast to honor the police officers tragically killed in Charlotte earlier this week.
Chancellor Roberts personally returned with police to replace the American flag while protestors threw bottles, rocks, and water at them and yelled obscenities.
In a rare show of leadership from a college administrator, Roberts faced down shrieking protesters saying, “This university doesn’t belong to a small group of protestors. It belongs to every citizen of North Carolina.”

When the protestors attempted to remove the flag again, the fraternity brothers stepped up to protect it while they sang the National Anthem.
They made sure the flag never touched the ground despite the barrage of objects thrown at them and the violent rhetoric shouted at them by the unhinged activists.

Many have warned that the protests on college campuses have nefarious elements behind the scenes pushing their radical agenda.
Like many colleges in the country, Stanford University has been battling anti-Israel protests, including an encampment in the White Plaza area of its campus.
Officials expressed concern over a picture of a protestor on Stanford’s campus wearing a green headband, similar to what is worn by Hamas terrorists.
The image began circulating this week, prompting the University to forward the photo to the FBI.
The New York Post reports:
A photo of someone at the encampment wearing a green headband, a face covering and glasses eventually came to the attention of school administrators.
“We have received many expressions of concern about a photo circulating on social media of an individual on White Plaza who appeared to be wearing a green headband similar to those worn by members of Hamas,” the school said in a Wednesday statement. “We find this deeply disturbing, as Hamas is designated a terrorist organization by the United States government. We have not been able to identify the individual but have forwarded the photo to the FBI.”
Adams has alleged that protests at Columbia University and City College of New York (CCNY) were infiltrated by “outside agitators” affiliated with “terrorist groups.”
In an interview with Vladimir Duthiers on CBS Morning, Adams detailed the city’s response to the chaotic scenes that unfolded at both institutions, where nearly 300 individuals were arrested Tuesday night.
“These were not spontaneous student movements but calculated disruptions by professional agitators,” Adams explained, noting that a significant portion of those arrested had no affiliations with either university.
Those cheering on the anti-Israel protests include Hamas leaders and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

Joe Scarborough has been melting down over the impact the radical protestors on college campuses will have on the 2024 presidential election.
The Gateway Pundit reported on the concern Joe and co-host Mika Brzezinski shared on Monday’s ‘Morning Joe’ that these displays are going to help elect President Trump.
Joe went off again, this time calling progressives in his audience who don’t see the impact this is having on the electorate ‘stupid.’

Milagro Jones, a Black student at UCLA, should be allowed to access all areas of his campus freely.
Milagro, who posts on X as Cupid General, filmed reactions to him walking through the pro-Hamas encampment at the school’s anti-Israel protest.
Protesters surrounded him and attempted to intimidate him, but Milagro was having no part of it.
When one told him, “You’re free to leave,” he dismantled the protestors.
“I am, because I am a US citizen, I’m free to do anything I want. That’s the cool thing about being a US citizen. When you work hard and get into UCLA…I got my GED in prison, so that means less than 1% of us will ever get any college degree. I’m getting a college degree from UCLA, the number one public university in the nation. So I’m free to go anywhere on this campus I want.”

In an interview with CNN, he said, “Our University has a policy, you’re not allowed to camp on our university. If me and my brother wanted to bring the homies and some cases of brews and camp out here, they’d gonna be like, ‘Bro, get out of here. You’re not allowed to do that.”
He was trying to walk through the encampment, but the pro-Hamas protesters didn’t like that. He was surrounded by protestors who blocked him.
“They wasn’t letting me move, period. They had me surrounded, they were saying some weird stuff. They were saying I was an Israeli agitator. I don’t know what that is, bro, at the end of the day, they’re not supposed to be here….that is my number one point.”
“Second point is, I’m a student, I can walk around wherever I want.”
“Third of all, I stand for zero tolerance of anti-semitism on a campus, period. As an African-American, and my dad was born before the Civil Rights Act and my people had to fight for basic civil rights, I don’t agree with any type of discrimination.”

On Thursday, Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson ran from reporters who wanted answers about reports that his administration is pressuring the family of slain Chicago Police Officer Luis Huesca to let the Mayor attend his funeral.
Officer Huesca was killed on April 21 as he returned home from his shift, dressed in uniform, during an alleged carjacking.
According to officials, Huesca shot more than ten times.
ABC News reports that Xavier Tate Jr., 22, was arrested after a 10-day manhunt and charged with first-degree murder, aggravated vehicular hijacking, and possession of a stolen firearm.
While reporters tried to ask Johnson about the allegations regarding the funeral, NBC Chicago’s Mary Ann Ahern reported that the Mayor refused to answer questions and ran away.
Ahern shouted to a rattled and fleeing Johnson, “Mister Mayor, why do you have to run from us, Mr. Mayor?”

According to reporting by Fran Spielman of the Sun Times, Johnson’s team tried to push the mourning Huesca family into inviting him to the funeral of the slain officer. I’ve never seen anything so despicable in Chicago politics and most of you know I’ve seen a lot.
If there’s anything lower than that, it’s running away like a whipped dog when you get caught.
He has a coward’s built-in excuse though, he might say Huesca’s mother didn’t understand the bad Spanish of his police officials and aides who initially tried to intimidate her by insisting he had to attend her son’s funeral, that it was mandatory. That it was all lost in translation. He’s craven enough, with his panic attacks, to try it. And he’ll always play the race card if it doesn’t work.
“At one point, there was an implication that the honors funeral is tied to the mayor’s attendance,” the Sun Times quoted John Catanzara, the president of the Fraternal Order of Police. “That was the guilt trip that we’re laying on this family.”
Ultimately, Johnson did not attend the funeral but tried to joke about his disgraceful and cowardly behavior.

In November 2023, socialist Pope Francis removed Bishop Joseph Strickland of the Diocese of Tyler, Texas.
Strickland, appointed in 2012 by Pope Benedict XVI, had been vocal in his criticism of the Vatican’s approach towards LGBTQ issues, abortion, and the discussion around allowing priests to marry.
But despite Pope Francis’ efforts to silence him, Bishop Strickland continues to speak out.
On Friday, Bishop Strickland published his latest letter warning of a confused understanding of authority’ that has invaded the Catholic Church.
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
“Roma locuta; causa finita est!” “Rome has spoken; the matter is finished!”
In these pastoral letters that I have been publishing, I have been writing about many issues that we are facing in what is an ever-growing crisis in the Church and in the world. As a Catholic bishop, my primary concern is always the Church—the Mystical Body of Christ—but it is clear that the present crisis in which we find ourselves touches not just the Church, but every aspect of humanity. When the Church is weak and her earthly leadership is seriously corrupted, it leaves every aspect of the human community vulnerable to evil, and we are seeing that vulnerability at every turn. As serious as all the issues are about which I have written, there is nothing more serious than the distorted understanding of authority and obedience which we now find so rampant. When we lack a clear understanding of the source from whence legitimate authority flows, then obedience is in grave danger of becoming arbitrary and compromised. When this happens, the very obedience which was divinely-instituted by God to point all people to truth may actually be weaponized by some to serve their own interests and to lead the unsuspecting away from truth. Therefore, we must always remain in the truth and be on guard for such a deception.
The history of the Church is replete with accounts of incidents and events in which a conflict arose, and Rome, with the proper use of authority, spoke out and settled the matter. “Roma locuta; causa finita est.” Catholics have wisely held onto this anchor of divine authority in the Catholic Church. Divinely-created authority, which is fully present only within the Catholic Church, should be a refuge for the faithful. Obedience to divine authority is obedience to Christ, as He is the one who has called that person into that position of authority. Obedience to divine authority is necessary within the holy structure of the Church, and it is important in helping us to grow in holiness. Unfortunately, however, the fact that divine authority has been viewed as “a given” in the Church has also served in many cases to make the faithful lazy or complacent in their obedience, and many have forgotten that, as St. Thomas Aquinas declared, God is to be obeyed in ALL things, but human authorities are to be obeyed in CERTAIN things.
As significant as this erosion of authority is for the state, the family, and society in general, when it afflicts the Church it takes us to a whole new level of concern. The Catholic Church is established on the Truth that comes from Almighty God and is fully revealed in Jesus Christ, His Divine Son—Truth Incarnate. When a confused understanding of authority invades the Church, then the very foundations of civilization are shaken, and we are now witnessing these tremors every day.
Jesus Christ tells us that “all authority in heaven and on earth” has been granted unto Him; thus, we must recognize that all earthly authority must look to Christ for its light because ultimately this light flows from a single source—the One who is the source of all authority in heaven and on earth. Only with this proper understanding of authority can we establish a firm foundation for obedience. Simply put, all obedience must always find its source and its end in obedience to Christ and the truth that He reveals. Authentic obedience to truth ultimately brings us to God—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—the ultimate authority. As we navigate the path of obedience, if we ignore the truth that Christ has revealed to us then we short-circuit the very meaning and essence of obedience.
Today we find ourselves immersed in a culture which, influenced by postmodernism, is unable or unwilling to recognize valid authority. We are in fact immersed in a culture influenced by Nihilism, and this can be traced back to the fall of our first parents in the Garden of Eden. Nihilism, a philosophy that proclaims all values are baseless, focuses on the use of the will to dominate. It is a rejection of absolute truth, and it puts forth the false idea that “truth” is merely the expression of the will, and pure & unadulterated truth does not exist. In this context, each person can make up truth as he sees fit, or he can determine that truth is whatever the authority figure he recognizes determines it to be. This deadly belief (or similarly, the belief that each individual is an authority unto himself) has even invaded the Church, and it has become a festering, purulent wound within the Mystical Body today.
This twisted view of authority and obedience has been a brilliant but deadly weapon of the fallen, for they have been able to influence men in the hierarchy of the Church to use their accompanying “authority” to cause immense harm to souls. By proclaiming that obedience is still due to these who serve falsehood and who have forfeited their God-given authority, obedience has been used as a weapon and has forced tolerance of situations such as the horrific sex abuse scandals that have so devastated the Church and have caused harm to so many individuals who have fallen victim to these men who abuse power.
One thing that has been lost in the confusion regarding authority and obedience is the fact that whenever the use of authority causes harm to a divine truth, such as when a priest or a bishop calls into question the Deposit of Faith (which includes the immutable Dogmas and Doctrines of the Church), then anyone has a right, in fact even a solemn duty, to resist that error—regardless of the potentially negative consequences they may face. And rather than violating the Catholic tenet of obedience, this resistance to an abuse of authority actually solidifies and strengthens the tenet of obedience because it is obedience to the highest authority—Jesus Christ.
Something else that is often misunderstood regarding authority in the Church concerns papal infallibility and submission of faith. Papal infallibility is present only in the face of an infallible pronouncement regarding faith and morals which emanates from the Pope or from a doctrinal council with the approval of the reigning Pontiff. Such an infallible pronouncement is always, in simple terms, an affirmation of truth that is already a part of the Deposit of Faith—and to which there have been no additions or changes since the close of Public Revelation with the death of St. John in the First Century A.D. When an infallible pronouncement is made, such a proclamation requires submission of faith by the faithful, i.e., the faithful are assured of the truth of such a proclamation and are obliged to hold this belief as a matter of faith. Other statements made by the Pope, the bishops, or other authorities—though they may be true—do not fall under the very narrow charism of papal infallibility. As such, prudence dictates that we may and must evaluate all statements in light of the divinely revealed truths contained in the Sacred Deposit of Faith. If a statement from anyone appears to contradict these unchanging truths, we must first seek clarification. If clarification is not given, or worse, if error is confirmed, we must refute the error and look to the Deposit of Faith as our sure guide to truth.
When addressing the issues of authority and obedience in today’s Church, we must remember that the ultimate source of authority and truth is God. The dilemmas we face will always find their answer in the truth that God has revealed to us. We must constantly ask, “Is this authentic to Christ?” and “Does it correspond to what He and His Church have always taught?” When we answer these questions affirmatively, then we arrive at the truth we must obey. However, if one in “authority” has not received his authority from Christ, then no obedience is required. We should remember that authority is given by Christ to those in the hierarchy of the Church for the sake of the souls entrusted to their care. It is never given for the sake of the person himself who is in authority.
There have been many saints and doctors of the Church who have told us of a time that would come when it will be necessary for the faithful to oppose those who seem to be in “authority” within the hierarchy. If we complacently continue to obey without asking the source of the authority, then we will find ourselves in a dangerous place.
On October 13, 1973, our Blessed Mother appeared to Sister Agnes Sasagawa in Akita, Japan. This occurred on the 56th anniversary of our Blessed Mother’s final apparition at Fatima, Portugal in 1917. Our Blessed Mother spoke these words to Sister Sasagawa: “The work of the devil will infiltrate even into the Church in such a way that one will see cardinals opposing cardinals, bishops against bishops. The priests who venerate me will be scorned and opposed by their confreres… churches and altars sacked; the Church will be full of those who accept compromises . . . “
Archbishop Fulton Sheen said in 1948: “He will set up a counter church which will be the ape of the Church, because he, the Devil, is the ape of God. It will have all the notes and characteristics of the Church, but in reverse and emptied of its divine content. It will be a mystical body of the Antichrist that will in all externals resemble the mystical body of Christ . . .”
Pope St. John Paul II said in 1976: “We are now facing the final confrontation between the Church and the anti-Church, of the Gospel versus the anti-Gospel.”
For those who might think this could occur in regard to the hierarchy of the Church but surely never in regard to a Pope, history reminds us of Pope Honorius I, who was pope from 625 to 638. The Council of Constantinople condemned him posthumously, and Pope Leo II condemned him by stating that Honorius “did not attempt to sanctify this Apostolic Church with the teaching of Apostolic tradition, but by profane treachery permitted its purity to be polluted.”
Therefore it is important to realize that it is possible that members of the Church’s hierarchy—which does not exclude even Popes—can indeed cause harm to the Church and the faithful, even if unintentionally. Furthermore, as we look to the words of saints, scholars, and in particular the words of our Blessed Mother in numerous Church-approved apparitions, we must also recognize the possibility that a member of the Church’s hierarchy could intentionally seek to destroy the Faith and the Church. For this reason, we MUST NOT become lazy or complacent in regard to authority and obedience, even when it involves the Holy Father.
Francisco de Vittoria, a Dominican friar, canonist, and theologian from the Sixteenth Century, stated: “If (a Pope) desired to hand over the treasury of the Church . . . if he desired to destroy the Church, or other similar things one should not permit him to act in such a manner, but one would have the obligation to resist him. The reason for this is that he has not the power to destroy. Therefore, when it is known that he does so, it is licit to resist him.”
St. Robert Bellarmine wrote: “Just as it is licit to resist a Pontiff who attacks the body, so it is licit to resist him who attacks souls, or who disturbs the civil order, or, even more, who tries to destroy the Church. It is licit to resist him by not doing what he orders, and by impeding the execution of his will. It is not licit, however, to judge him, to punish him, or to dispose him, for such acts belong to a superior. Catholic obedience to a superior, therefore, should never be what has been called ‘blind obedience.’”
Also, just as we should be aware of the warnings we have been given about a counter church that will have been emptied of its divine content and over which the Anti-Christ will preside, we must also be aware of the possibility that at some point God may permit that an imposter might sit upon the chair of Peter. We must be on watch always that, should this occur, we obey Jesus Christ alone who is Truth Incarnate and who has revealed His Truth to us in the Sacred Deposit of Faith which is unchangeable. Authentic obedience dictates that we must not obey anyone who opposes Truth and whose desire is to destroy the Church. We can be assured though that even if this dire situation were to occur, the true Church will remain intact, although perhaps it will, for a time, return to the catacombs.
As we discuss the dangers of false authority and misplaced obedience, it is important to note that the laity in the Church do not exist for the sake of the clergy in the Church. The clergy exist to provide the sacraments necessary for salvation to the laity. The paramount concern of all clergy should always, ALWAYS, be the salvation of the souls entrusted to them.
I would also note that bishops are called by God to be shepherds of their flocks, as well as “fathers” to the priests. However, in a profound abuse of authority, we now see situations in which bishops attack and silence priests who are simply speaking truth and defending the Sacred Deposit of Faith. Consequently, many priests remain silent rather than preaching the fullness of Christ’s truth, and many have distrust and even fear of their bishops. We must always remember that a father is called to lead his family by love, not to rule over them by fear.
Furthermore, we have recently seen situations where religious communities throughout the world have been put under duress by their bishops in what sometimes even has the appearance of a “land grab” or a desire to control, rather than a genuine concern for the souls in their care. We have also seen situations where bishops, in being notified about purported messages and locutions from heaven being given in certain locations and communities within their dioceses, immediately attempt to shut down these communities and declare messages false without a thorough and proper investigation. In many of these cases, the lack of proper investigation has given rise to questions regarding authority and disobedience. We must pray that bishops—with prudence and discernment, but also with hearts of supernatural faith—prayerfully and dutifully perform thorough investigations when such situations arise so that the faithful will have a sure guide and know they can look to their shepherds with trust and confidence.

Marxist tyrant New York AG Letitia James has notified pro-life pregnancy centers in the state of possible lawsuits over allegedly misleading statements about ‘abortion pill reversal’ (APR) protocols.
On April 22, James’ office sent “Notice of Intention to Sue” threat letters to at least a dozen pregnancy help organizations that offer or share information about the APR protocol, and the centers were given just five days to respond.
A collective of pregnancy help organizations are now suing the AG to block the threatened prosecutions.
“Abortion pill reversal,” or APR, has a mechanism of action which works by supplementing the pregnant woman with the hormone progesterone to outcompete the effects of mifepristone (the first drug in the abortion pill regimen). Mifepristone (brand name Mifeprex) starves the preborn child of the nutrients it needs to survive by inhibiting the pregnancy-sustaining action of the woman’s naturally occurring progesterone.
Progesterone has been used safely in pregnant women for decades. Live Action News has previously reported on APR’s safety and efficacy and has published numerousstories of women who were able to save their children’s lives by following the APR protocol and also previously documented how the pro-abortion American College of Obstetrics and Gynecologists (ACOG) and others within the abortion industry already know that progesterone can interfere with the action of the abortion pill.
CompassCare CEO Jim Harden wrote in a press release, “New York Attorney General Letitia James began a carbon-copy notice of litigation against Christian pro-life pregnancy centers. Ten pro-life pregnancy centers have been served so far for alleged “misleading statements or omissions in the advertising of the Abortion Pill Reversal (“APR”) protocol.” Similar allegations were filed against pro-life groups by abortion advocate and Attorney General Rob Bonta of California in the Fall of 2023.”
He continued, “This is only the most recent move by pro-abortion political extremists in a two-year, multi-layered, blue-state, pattern of attack against pro-life pregnancy centers—similar to Marxist-style allegations of misinformation leveled by Jane’s Revenge terrorist group against pro-lifers. The attacks on pregnancy centers began on June 7, 2022, with the firebombing of CompassCare’s medical office in Buffalo, injuring two firefighters. Firebombing of pro-life groups is now deemed domestic terror by the DOJ. One week after the firebombing, NY Governor Kathy Hochul weaponized legislation by signing a bill to investigate the victims, alleging misinformation while referring to pro-life people as Neanderthals. Shortly after, New York Attorney General Letitia James conspired with big tech like Google to censure pro-life pregnancy centers, keeping women from finding them on map features. James applauded Google’s illegal compliance in August 2022. The timeline of attacks including vilification of pro-life pregnancy centers through negative PR and activist litigation can be found on CompassCare’s webpage.”
Harden added, “You know, being sued by New York State for ‘misinformation’ oddly gives us the platform to educate the nation concerning the stubborn facts abortion industry puppets, like AG James, seek to hide; abortion is attended with a 44% increased risk of breast cancer, a 52% increased risk of future preterm deliveries, and a 5-fold increased risk of suicide. If it takes being sued by Letitia James to save women and babies from being used and victimized by a mercenary abortion industry, come and get us!”
Now, Heartbeat International, CompassCare, and a collective of pregnancy help organizations, represented by Thomas More Society, are suing the AG to block the threatened prosecutions.
Thomas More Society attorneys are requesting court intervention against the Attorney General’s threatened legal action, to safeguard the constitutional rights of Heartbeat International and the collective of pregnancy help organizations—many of which are part of Heartbeat International’s Abortion Pill Rescue® Network, or otherwise provide information about APR. At its core, James’ threatened litigation seeks to illegally silence Heartbeat International and its network member organizations from sharing their science-based, life-affirming message about the benefits, success, effectiveness, and safety of APR.

What started as a modest request to buy a few kegs for some great young guys has ballooned into an American cultural moment, with millions of people paying attention: blue and red, left and right, all of the above.”
“First, people should understand that we organized this fundraiser independently. That has been misreported by certain press outlets. We aren’t brothers ourselves: just Americans who admire young people like the men of UNC fraternities — members from at least eight different houses, by our count, many of whom we’ve now met.”
The organizer also shared that funds will be distributed to multiple fraternities involved in protecting Old Glory from protestors to support charitable causes “that are consistent with the fundraiser’s patriotic theme.”
The willingness of these young men to stand up to the destructive forces has been echoed on college campuses across the country.

Kevin, thanks for being here. Why are they screwed? Is it because a lot of them are wearing masks, they’re trying to hide their identity. Do you think that’ll work?

Extremely high resolution that allows you to use AI protocols to identify people by the iris or just a partial exposure of the face.

Pete Hegseth:Do you think they’re thinking about it or do they think this will pay off? I mean, everything in their incentive structure, Kevin, in academia says become an activist, agitate. That’s what their universities are telling them to do. Wouldn’t they want their best opportunities in mind?
Kevin O’Leary: Well, universities and the concept of tenor for professors is allowing people with different thoughts and ideas to flourish. That’s what our institutions are all about. But I’m just going back to a simple fact. When you break the law of the land, you become a criminal.
If you think by putting a mask on or wearing sunglasses is going to protect you, it doesn’t. That’s all I’m telling you. I think when you’re in your 20s, you’re very passionate, and Everybody get that and everybody goes through that process. But think about it. Think about what happens next. In 10 years, why didn’t you get that job? Why didn’t you get on that board? Why can’t you get a loan?
I’m telling you why right now, because I saw you do it, and you lied to me on your resume that you never broke the law. Well, you did. Whether you get caught or not doesn’t matter to me as an employer. That’s why you should really think this through. I teach this in colleges now. The world has changed because we have AI and we’ve got high-resolution imagery, and it’s being captured every day, and it goes on the dark web within 48 hours. I can see it anytime I want.

A new report suggests that risk of getting COVID rises with each shot an individual takes, according to a new study.
The report comes from an analysis of data from Cleveland Clinic that found people who received two or more doses were at higher risk of COVID-19 based on a comparison was against “people who received zero or one dose of a vaccine.”
The researchers said in the paper, “The exact reason for this finding is not clear. It is possible that this may be related to the fact that vaccine-induced immunity is weaker and less durable than natural immunity. So, although somewhat protective in the short term, vaccination may increase the risk of future infection.”
The risk of contracting COVID-19 was 1.5 times higher for those who received two doses, 1.95 times higher for those who received three doses, and 2.5 times higher for those who received more than three doses, the researchers found. The higher risk was compared to people who received zero or one dose of a vaccine.
The work of Dr. Naabin Shrestha and others was used in the report and found, “The risk of contracting COVID-19 was 1.5 times higher for those who received two doses, 1.95 times higher for those who received three doses, and 2.5 times higher for those who received three or more doses.”
Even after adjusting for variables, the elevated risk remained.
“The exact reason for this finding is not clear. It is possible that this may be related to the fact that vaccine-induced immunity is weaker and less durable than natural immunity. So, although somewhat protective in the short term, vaccination may increase risk of future infection,” the researchers said in the paper, which was released as a preprint.
The latest study comes after the news that the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) officials found evidence that the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines caused multiple deaths before claiming that there was no evidence linking the vaccines to any deaths.
According to the documents obtained by The Epoch Times, CDC employees conducted investigations into reported post-vaccination deaths, particularly focusing on cases involving myocarditis, a known side effect of the Pfizer-BioNTech and Moderna COVID-19 vaccines.

In an interview with Sky News, a student at UCLA, shared that while he had been intending to vote for Joe Biden only a few weeks ago, he now said he is “certainly not’ voting for him now.
He added that he believes very few people in the encampment are going to vote for Joe Biden in November.
UCLA was the scene of violent clashes on campus on Tuesday night between protesters.
Interviewer: If I was to ask you two weeks ago before this encampment was formed, before you were part of this, if I was to ask you two weeks ago, who would you vote for in November, what would you have told me?

Student: Now, I’m certainly not voting for Joe Biden.
I’ll probably vote for either Jill Stein or Cornel West. He was part of the People’s Party, and then he left the People’s Party. Jill Stein is part of the Green Party.
I think very few people in the encampment are going to vote for Joe Biden in November. I think beforehand, and maybe before October seventh, this consensus among the progressive left was generally, Joe Biden is the lesser of two evils. He is a, he’s neoliberal. He’s not very progressive, but he’s the best that we can get.
Since October 7, and especially since over the past couple of days, what has become abundantly clear is that he does not actually care about his base.
He does not actually care about the people of Gaza or the people of the West Bank. And so even just checking that box next to Joe Biden’s name, it’s too much to ask of anybody, even if the alternative is worse. I think the best that we can hope for is that somebody who actually cares who cares about humanity, who actually cares about… Honestly, somebody who actually cares about the American people as well is actually elected to office.

In April, Joe Biden unilaterally canceled another $7.4 billion in student loan debt in his latest vote-buying gimmick ahead of the 2024 election.
“Today, President Biden announced that 277,000 more Americans will get their student debt canceled, bringing the total debt relief approved by the Biden-Harris Administration to $153 billion for 4.3 million Americans through various actions,” the White House announced at the time.
Biden has used a series of workarounds to circumvent the Supreme Court’s decision to strike down his student loan bailout program.
On Friday night’s panel discussion on “Real Time,” host Bill Maher was joined by Fox News contributor Kellyanne Conway and Bloomberg Businessweek correspondent Joshua Green.
During a discussion of the anti-Israel protests raging on college campuses across the country, Maher said he gets “so incensed” at how many of the students participating receive federal aid.
“I’m so incensed about some of this stuff because when I read about the college loans… Biden administration’s student debt cancellation will cost a combined 870 billion to 1.4 trillion.”
“So colleges constantly raise tuition, then the kids take out more loans, then the government comes by and pays those loans. Okay, so my tax dollars are supporting this Jew-hating? I don’t think so.”
Conway said the student loan handout was unfair, telling Maher, “You can’t have plumbers and pipefitters playing for the student loans of doctors and lawyers.”
She continued, “I’m all for the government trying to help people who need it, but he did that as a political play and everybody knows it. He’s bleeding young people support.”
“And it hasn’t worked,” Green added. “If you look at issues that young people care about, Gaza is like 15th out of 16th. And the only thing that comes in lower than Gaza is student loan forgiveness. So it hasn’t worked as a motivator for the youth vote, you know, half of which are out there chanting ‘Genocide Joe.’ So it’s backfired not just in terms of public policy, but in terms of the politics, too.”
“Yeah, I mean, Trump is winning the youth vote by I think 11 points, that’s pretty astounding to me,” Maher said, referring to a recent CNN poll.

Pro-Hamas agitators at UVA were petulant when police arrived to remove their tantrum encampment.
As police entered the area, the protestors taunted police as they hysterically shrieked, “UPD, KKK, IDF, you’re all the same,” likening the police to the Ku Klux Klan and Israel Defense Forces.
Virginia State Police were dispatched to campus to remove the Hamas cheerleaders from their encampment, which, according to University officials, violates school policy.
When the agitators refused to dismantle tents and leave, officers in full riot gear began spraying pepper spray.
Although reports at first suggested tear gas was used, Virginia State Police said, NO law enforcement in Virginia have or deploy tear gas, by its defined chemical composition.”

According to University officials, the encampment is in violation of a policy. While officials expressed support for peaceful protests on the UVA campus, they do not allow setting up tents and prohibit the use of electronically amplified sound, which includes electric megaphones.
The nasty chants can be clearly heard coming from a banned megaphone.
UVA officials said in a statement on Tuesday, “UVA has seen an increase in peaceful expressive activity on our Grounds this year in response to the ongoing Middle East conflict. As an institution committed to free expression and the open exchange of ideas, we strive to ensure these activities can take place safely, and in a manner that permits all parties to make their voices heard.”
“The University is prohibited by the Constitution and our own values from restricting speech based on its content, even in cases where the content is hurtful or offensive,” the school said. “We do, however, enforce reasonable restrictions on the time, place, and manner of expressive activities, so as to assure the safety of our community and to avoid disruption to University life or the rights of others. As we become aware of planned expressive activities, University officials engage with organizers to inform them of these policies.”

The Gateway Pundit reported that the Biden regime proudly announced that women will be forced to allow men in their locker rooms and bathrooms with a new 1577-page Title IX ruling.
Because the Biden Regime won’t do it, lawmakers in states throughout the country have been stepping up to protect women and girls.
In Ohio, the Ohio House Higher Education Committee passed House Bill 183 , which mandates that Ohio K-12 schools and colleges enforce bathroom and locker room usage based on students’ sex assigned at birth.
The Ohio Capital-Journal reports:
State Reps. Beth Lear, R-Galena, and Adam Bird, R-New Richmond, introduced House Bill 183 which would require Ohio K-12 schools and colleges to mandate that students could only use the bathroom or locker room that matches their sex assigned at birth. It would also prohibit schools from allowing students to share overnight accommodations with the opposite sex.
HB 183 now awaits further consideration in the House, which is next scheduled to be in session April 24.
Proponents argue that HB 183 addresses safety concerns, while critics contend it discriminates against transgender individuals. State Rep. Gayle Manning expressed hope for further discussions on the bill but ultimately voted in favor, citing concerns over potential legal liabilities and rising tuition costs in higher education institutions.
Biden’s dismantling of Title IX, meant to protect women and girls in sports, means women will be forced to compete against men annd women will be forced to accept men on their sports teams.
Women and young girls will be forced to share locker rooms and bathrooms based on gender identity rather than biological sex.
Young girls everywhere will be subject to the type of sexual exposure allegedly faced by the female athletes forced to share a locker room with trans swimmer Lia Thomas.
Preferred pronouns are also now mandated, and even the single use of the “wrong” pronoun can require discipline.
And, as May Mailman, Director of Independent Women’s Law Center, notes, Title IX is not a college law. This will impact girls as young as those in the Headstart program, geared to children from three to five years old, those in daycare, and those in Kindergarten through 12th grade.
Other states stepping up to protect women and girls is Florida.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis had strong words for Biden and his attack on women, “We will not comply.”
“Florida rejects Joe Biden’s attempt to rewrite Title IX. We will not comply, and we will fight back.”
“We are not going to let Joe Biden undermine the rights of parents. And we are not going to let Joe Biden abuse his Constitutional authority to try to impose these policies on us here in Florida. We stand with opportunities; we are not going to let Biden get away with it.”
Oklahoma State Superintendent of Public Instruction Ryan Walters condemned Biden’s recent rewrite of Title IX, labeling it as “radical and illegal” and a direct assault on the rights of states, families, and specifically young women and girls.
Walters made it clear that Oklahoma does not intend to comply with the unconstitutional federal mandate.
“President Biden deciding to rewrite Title IX is one of the most radical and illegal moves we’ve ever seen from the federal government. It’s an attack on our states. It’s an attack on our families. And it’s an attack on our young women and girls. We will not stand for this in Oklahoma,” Walters.
In addition to Florida and Oklahoma, other states that have taken steps to protect single-sex spaces include Utah, and Alabama.

Deported terrorist Sami Al Arian was invited to speak to the Hamas-endorsed anti-Israel protesters at the University of Chicago.
Al Arian, a former University of South Florida professor, was indicted in February 2003 on 17 counts under the Patriot Act. A jury acquitted him on eight counts and deadlocked on the remaining nine counts. He later struck a plea bargain and admitted to one of the remaining charges in exchange for being released and deported. He was deported to Turkey on February 4, 2015.
Al-Arian was accused of aiding terrorists. In February 2003, he was charged with racketeering for Palestine Islamic Jihad (PIJ).
The Gateway Pundit reported that his wife, Nahla Al-Najar, was pictured protesting at Columbia University campus.
UChicago United for Palestine, which organized the campus encampment, announced Al Arian’s participation in a Zoom meeting on their Instagram.
”Today, we will have the honour of being joined by Dr. Sami Al Arian, a former professor of computer engineering, prominent speaker and human rights activist and US political prisoner,” the group wrote. “Dr. Al Arian has since relocated to Turkey, where he is the Director of the Center for Islam and Global Affairs (CIGA) at Istanbul Zaim University.”

Al-Arian has been quite clear about his views for decades. In 1991, during a speech in Chicago, al-Arian screamed: “The Quran is our constitution. Jihad is our path … Victory to Islam… Death to Israel… Revolution… revolution till the victory.” Showing he hadn’t changed, in mid-December 2020, al-Arian spoke via Zoom at the Fourth International Conference on the Muslim Ummah. There al-Arian also called for “defeating and dismantling the Zionist project,” adding: “We cannot pursue an ummah project without actually attaining our real independence. We cannot attain our real independence without dealing with the problem of Israel….As long as Israel exists, the ummah will stay weak and fragmented, and disunited and divided and dependent and under control.”
Many have warned that the protests on college campuses have nefarious elements behind the scenes pushing their radical agenda.
Adams has alleged that protests at Columbia University and City College of New York (CCNY) were infiltrated by “outside agitators” affiliated with “terrorist groups.”
In an interview with Vladimir Duthiers on CBS Morning, Adams detailed the city’s response to the chaotic scenes that unfolded at both institutions, where nearly 300 individuals were arrested Tuesday night.
“These were not spontaneous student movements but calculated disruptions by professional agitators,” Adams explained, noting that a significant portion of those arrested had no affiliations with either university.
Officials at Stanford University sent a picture of a protestor on their campus wearing a green headband, similar to what is worn by Hamas terrorists, to the FBI.
Those cheering on the anti-Israel protests include Hamas leaders and Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei.

According to a poll by the Pew Research Center, Biden is losing the Catholic vote.
The poll shares that if the election were held today, 55% of Catholic voters say they would vote for Donald Trump, or lean toward voting for him.
Only 43% say they support Biden.
A similar poll conducted by Pew before the 2020 election found that Catholics were almost evenly split between the two candidates, with 50% saying they’d support Trump and 49% reporting that they would vote for Biden.

The shift toward Trump was most pronounced among Hispanic Catholics, according to Pew’s polling. Biden only leads Hispanic Catholics by two points in Pew’s most recent poll, within the margin of error, a significant drop off from the 32-point lead he enjoyed in Pew’s 2020 poll.
Hispanic voters on the whole have been moving toward the Republican Party, a trend that worries some liberals. The Biden campaign, for instance, is focusing on courting Latinos, and George Soros, an ally of the Democratic Party, has given tens of millions of dollars to left-of-center Latino advocacy groups.
Although Biden likes to boast about his Catholic faith, many of his actions in office go against some of the Church’s most sacred tenets, including his continued support of pro-abortion legislation.
At a rally in Tampa in April, an abortion promoter voiced complaints about Florida’s six-week limit for abortions, during which Biden turned his back on his faith and his God and made the sign of the cross.
He also insulted millions of Christians when he declared “Transgender Visibility Day,” which fell on Easter this year.
In a March appearance on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Wilton Cardinal Gregory, archbishop of the Archdiocese of Washington since 2019, commented on Biden’s faith and tried to explain how he sees his Catholic faith.
“I would say that he’s very sincere about his faith. But like a number of Catholics, he picks and chooses dimensions of the faith to highlight while ignoring or even contradicting other parts. There is a phrase that we have used in the past, a ‘cafeteria Catholic’ — you choose that which is attractive and dismiss that which is challenging,” the Archbishop said.

When NYPD began arresting protestors at Columbia University, it confirmed what anyone with eyes knows.
College campus protests are being infiltrated by outside forces and supported by professional agitators.
One such alleged professional agitator is James Carlson, who was arrested inside Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall and has no affiliation with the University.
A group stormed the building while smashing windows and fortifying their position by barricading doors and covering windows, effectively taking control of the academic building.
A Columbia facilities worker recounted the harrowing experience of being held against his will by the protesters. “They held me hostage,” the worker disclosed to the Columbia Spectator after being released.
They’re stacking objects on both sides of the doors at Hamilton Hall of Columbia University in order to force controlled entrances and exits.

When Carlson was arrested inside the building, he was already under investigation for grabbing an Israeli flag from a man near campus and setting it on fire in April.
But who is Carlson? He is the privileged son of a millionaire with a long history of violent protests.
And while Carlson “fights the man,” and rages against capitalism, which he can afford to do since it has benefitted him and his family, he goes home each night to his lavish $3.4 million Brooklyn brownstone property.
Another “shocker?” America haters stick together. Carlson’s stepmother is reportedly romantically linked to vocal leftist singer John Cougar Mellencamp.
Carlson is a rabble rouser and an attorney by trade, according to sources.
He is being looked at as a “possible leader” of the anti-Israel protesters who broke into Columbia University’s Hamilton Hall Tuesday night and barricaded themselves inside, a City Hall source said.
Emergency Services Unit cops used a military-style truck to get inside and arrest the rioters, including Carlson, early Wednesday morning.
He was charged with burglary, reckless endangerment, criminal mischief, conspiracy and criminal trespassing.
“I observed the defendant inside the location with several other individuals,” a police officer wrote in the arrest report. “I did observe doors with shattered windows, doors off hinges, broken desks and exits blockaded by piled-up chairs.”

The Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) has many demands in their latest salvo in negotiating a new contract with the public schools system.
While the union’s demands have not been made public, Fox News reports a leaked document “sheds light on the eye-popping demands.”
The $50 billion they are asking for includes a 9% wage hike, fully paid abortions for its members, new migrant services and facilities, and a myriad of LGBT-related requirements.
According to Fox News, the total base tax receipts for the state of Illinois last year were $50.7 billion.
The excessive demands come despite Chicago public schools failing their students, and academic rigor in Illinois continues to slip lower and lower.
A recent Illinois State Board of Education report card is dreadful.
In 30 schools in Illinois, not a single student can read at grade level, 22 of which are in the City of Chicago.
In 53 schools, not a single student can do math at grade level, 33 of which are in Chicago.
Maybe that is why Stacy Davis-Gates, President of the Chicago Teachers Union (CTU) sends one of her children to a private Catholic high school in Chicago.
But let’s throw more money at a failing system.
The union’s demands have not been made public but a leaked document sheds light on the eye-popping demands.
Union President Stacy Davis Gates’ audacious plan calls for members to bank at least 9% wage increases each year through fiscal year 2028.
The average salary of a teacher in Chicago Public Schools is $93,182, according to research by the Illinois Policy Institute, a conservative nonprofit think tank. Therefore, the average teacher’s pay will increase by half to $144,620 in the 2027-2028 school year, it says.
That figure would equate to more than double the median household income in Chicago, according to Census Bureau statistics.
The demands include money to convert unused school facilities into housing for illegals and provide each migrant student with $2,000 to help with various services.
The contract also asks that all counselors, clinicians, social workers, and school psychologists are ‘queer competent’ and that they should be ‘trained annually on LGBTQ+ issues as a qualification of their job description.’
Each school must also have at least one gender-neutral bathroom.
All this while Chicago’s public pension system is in dire straits.
According to a report from Equable Institute, Chicago’s core public pensions, which include municipal, laborers, police, fire and the Chicago Teachers’ Pension Fund, hold more debt than 44 states with a combined pension debt of nearly $48 billion.

Jeremy Clarkson, a popular British broadcaster, journalist, and writer best known for his role on the BBC TV show Top Gear, hit back at woke content warnings being placed on different forms of entertainment in the UK.
Clarkson said that the recent influx of trigger warnings before various forms of entertainment is worlds away from the Britain he grew up in, where nudity and potentially controversial content was displayed without a care.
Writing in The Times, he said: “Today, we have warnings before every show about all of the horrors that lie ahead. We’re told that we are going to see nudity and smoking and that there may be drug ‘misuse.’”
He added, “Today we are told on an hourly basis that our children are subjected to far too much online titillation,” however, he suggests that it is worse now than what he grew up.
Clarkson’s comments come on the heels of reports that Shakespeare’s Globe in London recently issued “content guidance” for its productions of Antony and Cleopatra, Romeo and Juliet, and Julius Caesar.

Ahead of Antony and Cleopatra, the theatre warned audiences of “depictions of suicide, scenes of violence and war and misogynoir references”.
Misogynoir is a relatively new term for describing discrimination against women and black people.
The Telegraph reports that a warning for Midsummer Night’s Dream contains “misogyny and racism.”
The inclusion of a warning on preview material for the play comes after education experts at the Globe Theatre critiqued it for its misogyny, and as part of a series of “Anti-Racist Shakespeare” seminars intended to “decolonise” the Bard’s work.
The Globe hosts Anti-Racist Shakespeare seminars which is “a series of free webinars that brings together scholars and artists of colour from a wide variety of backgrounds to examine Shakespeare’s plays through the lens of race and social justice.”

When Democrat politicians in New York passed the Adult Survivors Act to punish Donald Trump and provide the ability for E. Jean Carroll to go after Trump 30 years later, their Trump Derangement Syndrome blinded them to how it might impact them.
The now-expired act allowed alleged victims to file civil lawsuits against their accused attackers within a specific window, even if the state’s statute of limitations had run out on their claims.
In November, The Gateway Pundit reported on allegations of sexual assault against embattled New York City Mayor Eric Adams (D) stemming from an incident in 1993.
Now, Kevin Parker, a Democrat state senator representing Brooklyn, is calling the Adult Survivors Act unconstitutional, and yet he voted for it.
The accusation against him occurred just before the law expired and stems from an incident in 2004.
The state senator, along with every other member of the state Senate, had voted for the legislation in 2021.
Parker even touted his support of the law in a statement in which he denied the rape charges against him shortly after they were levied in November.
“I voted in favor of the [Adult Survivors Act] to ensure all New Yorkers can seek justice and be heard,” Parker wrote of the legislation, which was also passed by the assembly, signed into law by Hochul in May 2022 and expired in November 2023.
“These allegations are absolutely untrue. My work and advocacy will continue,” Parker said.
Olga Jean-Baptiste alleges that when she was working with Parker on relief efforts for Haiti in 2004, he grabbed her by the wrists and forcibly raped her at her home.
Parker’s behavior has caused concerns in the past. In 2018, he tweeted to a GOP staffer to “Kill yourself.”
Candice Giove, who was the New York State Senate Majority’s deputy communications director, tweeted about Parker abusing his position after discovering that a placard found in a car parked in a bike lane belonged to Senator Parker. However, the license plate number on the placard did not match the vehicle.
Giove said on X, “It got to the bottom of this. The placard is assigned to @SenatorParker. However, the license plate # on the placard does not match the vehicle. So he either used it in another car or gave it to someone to use, both of which are not permitted.”
Although Parker deleted his reply to Giove, someone was able to capture a screenshot before it was removed.

Norris benefitted from a well-timed safety car for a crash involving Kevin Magnussen and Logan Sargeant and drove away from Max Verstappen over the second half of the race to win Sunday’s Miami Grand Prix.
Norris found himself in sixth in the race’s opening laps but his car had some serious race pace. Norris moved his way to second as the cars ahead of him made pit stops and was clicking off fast laps on his medium compound tires.
He took over the lead after Verstappen pitted just before Carlos Sainz and Norris’ McLaren teammate Oscar Piastri did. Once Piastri pitted, Norris took over the race lead when Magnussen and Sergeant collided in the first sector.
The F1 crowd absolutely swooned over Trump, including a group of young people who were absolutely ecstatic at the chance to meet the President.

On Wednesday, nine victims of the Oct. 7 Hamas terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians filed suit against U.S.-based pro-Hamas groups in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern Division of Virginia in Alexandria, Va.
The plaintiffs say they continue to “suffer mental anguish and pain,” which is made worse by the “defendants’ provision of material support” to their attackers.
Seven of the nine plaintiffs directly experienced the Hamas attack on Oct. 7.
David Bromberg barely survived the Nova festival massacre. He fled and hid in the bushes for more than 12 hours until he was rescued, and the complaint notes, “Mr. Bromberg’s friends were murdered, and one is held hostage by Hamas.”
The complaint targets some of the organizations participating in the anti-Israel and antisemitic encampments plaguing college campuses in the U.S., including AJP Educational Foundation Inc., also known as American Muslims for Palestine (AMP) and National Students for Justice in Palestine (NSJP).
The suit alleges these groups have violated the Anti-Terrorism Act and the Alien Tort Statute and that AMP “serves as Hamas’s propaganda division in the United States” built on “the ashes of disbanded organizations created by senior Hamas officials after those organizations and related individuals were found criminally and civilly liable for providing material support to Hamas and other affiliated terrorist groups.”
The suit seeks compensatory damages.
AMP founded NSJP, which coordinates hundreds of Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP) chapters across the country. “Through NSJP, AMP uses propaganda to intimidate, convince, and recruit uninformed, misguided, and impressionable college students to serve as foot soldiers for Hamas on campus and beyond,” the complaint states.
“In the NSJP Toolkit, AMP and NSJP identify themselves as ‘part of’ a ‘Unity Intifada,’ governed by Hamas’s ‘unified command’ of terrorist operations in Gaza,” it continued.
“The plain text of the NSJP Toolkit confirms that AMP and NSJP do not merely assist Hamas’s ongoing terror campaign abroad—they perpetuate it in the United States,” the complaint notes.
“Defendants act as Hamas’s public relations division and recruit domestic foot soldiers not only to disseminate Hamas’s propaganda but also to foment violence, chaos, and fear across the United States to intimidate citizens and coerce change in American policy,” it said.

Riley Gaines mentioned a lawsuit that has been filed on behalf of multiple NCAA women athletes against the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) over their decision to allow “transgender” athletes to compete against them and use locker rooms for women.
The lawsuit was filed by the Independent Council on Women’s Sports (ICONS) on behalf of over a dozen female athletes. It alleges that the NCAA violated Title IX, a federal statute that guarantees equal opportunity for men and women in college sports.
It seeks to prohibit biological males from competing against female athletes. Further, it demands the NCAA revoke awards received by “transgender” athletes who competed against women in tournaments that were governed by the organization.

‘Hope Has No Borders’ is working to pair illegals with host families across Colorado, and this can now be expedited via a new hotline.
KDVR reports, “Now, with help from the United Way, getting paired up is a simple phone call away by dialing 211.”

What could possibly go wrong?
Erin Lennon is one of the many hosts the organization has paired with migrants. She didn’t realize the scope of Denver’s migrant crisis until talking with a friend late last year.
“Wow this is not just a little problem, this is a big problem,” she remembers thinking.
A single mom with a spare bedroom in the house, she felt a call to help.
“Why aren’t you doing something? You know?” she said. “Just in my heart, that’s what I was telling myself.”
She found her solution through Hope Has No Borders, which has paired 500 migrants with host families since late last year.
These “generous” people aren’t helping for free. The organization provides financial stipends to hosts for things like food and utility bills.
Denver has a population of over 700,00, 79.6% of which are Democrats, and is identified as the most liberal city in Colorado.
The city has seen almost 40,000 flow into their community in the last 15 months.
If every Democrat opened their home to an illegal, they would all be sheltered.
So why doesn’t every illegal in the city already have a leftist roof over their head?

Stormy Daniels’s testimony on Tuesday was such an absolute disaster that even CNN was forced to admit it.
CNN legal analyst Elie Honig said that, although Daniels’ testimony about a sexual encounter with Trump in a hotel room in 2006 was “plausible,” her responses while under cross-examination by Trump’s legal team called her credibility into question.
Referring to the moment Daniels admitted she hates President Trump, Honig said, “Her responses were disastrous.”
Adding, “That’s a big deal.”
“When the witness hates the person whose liberty is at stake, that’s a big damn deal!”
“And she’s putting out tweets, fantasizing about him being in jail. That really undermines the credibility.”
Honig also referenced Daniels’s comment that she has no intention of paying court-ordered legal fees to Trump after her failed defamation case against him was tossed out.
Daniels has said on social media she “will go to jail” before she has to “pay a penny.”
“The fact that she owes him $500,000 by order of a court, owes Donald Trump a half million dollars, and said, ‘I will never pay him. I will defy a court order,’ the defense is gonna say, ‘She’s willing to defy a court order. She’s not willing to respect an order from a judge. Why is she gonna respect this oath she took?’ So, I thought it went quite poorly on cross-exam.”

Biden’s Secretary of Education, Miguel Cardona, is usually comfortable running his mouth when it comes to telling parents what they should do with their children.
But on Tuesday, while facing questioning before the House Education and Workforce Committee regarding the Biden Regime’s war on women and the new 1577-page Title IX ruling, he couldn’t seem to answer simple yes or no questions.
Under questioning by Rep. Burgess Owen (R-UT), Cardona didn’t have much to say in the way of concrete answers.
Owens asked, “Would you force your daughter to undress in the bathroom with boys, who are also undressing?”
Cardona, who has a daughter and a son, would not answer the question.
Cardona would only respond, “I am not going to be commenting on athletics rules that we haven’t proposed.”
“You can’t say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ on that?” Burgess pressed.
“I’d be happy to talk about Title IX…”
Owens pressed, “If your daughter was reported, she felt uncomfortable in a boy’s presence in a bathroom or locker room, would that be considered by your administration to be discrimination or bigotry?”
Cardona began, “As an educator for over 25 years….” before Burgess asked again, “You can’t say ‘yes’ or ‘no’ to that?”
“I’d love to respond to your question, sir,” Cardona replied.
“Okay, so is it ‘yes’ or ‘no,’ would it be considered discrimination if she did not want that to happen?”
Cardona again failed to answer the question and returned to his talking points, “As an educator for over 25 years….”
Burgess stopped the grandstanding and continued, “Girls have now entered in contact sports of boxing and wrestling. Would you allow your daughter to physically fight and get beat up by a boy who called himself a girl? Yes or no?”
“Be happy to, once we finalize our regulations on Title IX athletics, to come back and have a conversation with you,” Cardona said.
Burges then went on to rebuke Cardona and the Biden Regime’s abject failure to protect women and girls.
“I’ll say this, Mr. Secretary, before I go on this next topic,” Burgess said. “With all due respect, I pray that our country will never ever have the vision your policies are driving us toward in terms of manhood.”
“It is a vision that teaches our boys that harming girls is no big deal. I pray that we remain a country that produces an overwhelmingly mass majority of men who feel the way I do about my girls. I will give my life, in a heartbeat, for my girls. And the blessings I have is that they have no doubts about that.”
“There are millions of men and women across this country that do not have faith, that do not have trust, in you protecting our girls because of policies you can’t say yes or no to.”
“By the way, those are not very hard questions as a father.”

The loose-fitting plain black clothing draping from her shoulders to her toes suggested the modesty of a nun,” he said, referring to Daniels.
“The makeup was minimal, the way she and the other moms in her neighborhood might look when shopping at the local grocery store.”
“The long blonde hair held up with a clip at the back of her head the way it might be in a utilitarian way while she was doing dishes or checking one of the Horseshoes on her horse she later spoke of so proudly.”
“When she walked by him, her face had the same expressionless somber look that all the jurors always have when they walk by him. Looking at the floor she didn’t look at him,” he added.

The protestors, including climate-hoaxer Greta Thunberg, are against Israel being allowed to compete in the famous song contest.
‘Young people are leading the way and showing the world how we should react to this,’ Thunberg told Reuters news agency. However, she refused to comment on why she had joined the protest, only saying it was ‘good’ as the march took place.
During the demonstrations, smoke canisters in the colours of the Palestinian flag were set off and protesters, some of whom have dogs, young children and bicycles with them, were carrying signs displaying images of Gaza civilians who have been injured amid the Hamas-Israel conflict.
Other banners displayed messages including ‘welcome to Genocide song contest’ and ‘stop using Eurovision to whitewash Israeli crimes’.
Heavily armed police officers carrying machine guns are patrolling outside hotels, and there are reports that terrorists are threatening to bomb the arena.

On May 7, Philadelphia’s Leaders Academy held a cultural day event. They shared a video on their YouTube channel of remarks by a student, Raneem Mustafa, where she spoke about Palestine.
According to a translation by MEMRI, Mustafa praised Jihad as the “pinnacle of Islam” and praised the “martyrdom” of the people of Gaza.
According to Mustafa, the men of Gaza have taught her what “real men” are and that “real sacrifice” is sacrificing their souls and children for the sake of their homeland.
Mustafa: “The tragedy of our people in Gaza is grave. Lives are lost and there is total destruction. We are going through the most significant days, in which the pinnacle of Islam is realized – Jihad for the sake of Allah to elevate Truth. This is a path followed by the people of Gaza on behalf of the entire nation. They are saying to Allah day and night: ‘Oh Lord, take our souls until You are satisfied.’ This clearly shows that these are people who love life – the martyrs are alive, and are sustained by their Lord.
“Gaza is teaching us that real men are revealed in times of hardship, when all the masks are removed, and that the Islamic nation’s glory will only be achieved through faith and principles, that real sacrifice is sacrificing one’s soul and one’s children for the sake of the homeland, and that the occupiers are cowards who can fight only when there are no real men on the battlefield. MEMRI notes that the Philadelphia chapter of the Muslim American Society (MAS) previously shared videos from the Leaders Academy’s “One Ummah Day” events from 2017 and 2019, in which young students sang “Chop off their heads!” and expressed their will to become martyrs for the sake of Palestine and the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
Following backlash from the 2023 incident, MEMRI reported that the organization claimed that a “process” has been put in place to prevent the repetition of such an “unintended mistake.”

Two elderly protestors, Reverend Dr. Sue Parfitt, 82, and Judy Bruce, an 85-year-old retired biology teacher, entered the British Library, where two of the four surviving copies of the Magna Carta reside, and attempted to use a chisel and hammer to break the glass case protecting the historic document.
The Magna Carta is the first document to put into writing the principle that the King and his government were not above the law.
The two held a sign that read, “The government is breaking the law” and asked, “Is the government above the law?”

Rev Parfitt said: “The Magna Carta is rightly revered, being of great importance to our history, to our freedoms and to our laws.
“But there will be no freedom, no lawfulness, no rights, if we allow climate breakdown to become the catastrophe that is now threatened.”
In a statement, the British Library confirmed two people had “attacked the toughened glass case” containing the landmark charter in its treasures gallery.
“The library’s security team intervened to prevent further damage to the case, which was minimal,” it said.

As summer and the DNC approaches, the Democrat hellhole of Chicago is facing a crisis with a major shortage of police officers.
At a public forum with the Commission for Public Safety and Accountability last week, Chicago Police Supt. Larry Snelling said, “What we’re doing right now is making the best with the number of officers that we have.”
Snelling added, “We are down. We’re down close to 2,000 officers.”
Riccio said with just under 2,000 officers short, the department will pull from special units first.
“Units that normally supplement those officers now become the officers doing the patrolling,” he said.
And as Chicago prepares to host at least 50,000 people in August for the DNC, Riccio believes the shortage only adds to the challenges.
“It’s going to take a lot of manpower, and there’s no substitution for experience, and that’s another thing a lot of the officers – look they’re great hard workers – but there’s no substitution for experience,” said Riccio, “and a lot of these officers are young. They certainly don’t have experience with these type of incidents.”

On Monday, a 63-year-old female mail carrier was robbed at gunpoint by two thugs while delivering mail in Dublin, California.
Surveillance video of the incident shows the carrier, who has worked for the U.S. Postal Service for 33 years, delivering mail in a quiet residential neighborhood around 4:30 p.m. when suddenly a masked man emerges behind her.
A second masked individual follows closely behind.
Suddenly, a masked man comes up behind the mail carrier, followed by a second person who is also masked and the two masked men pull a gun.
“Somebody came up behind me and ‘boom,’ just hit me ,and put a gun to my head,” said the female postal carrier who asked not to be identified.”He said, ‘Give me your keys. You don’t want to die, do you?’ I go no, no, no. So I reached in, got my keys, and he goes, ‘Where’s your phone? You got two minutes’.”
The worker went to the mail truck to get her phone and handed it to the armed robber while fearing the worst.
She said,”On my god, I’m going to die.”
But the two men ran away after taking the keys to mailboxes and the truck, along with her cell phone.
She went to a neighbor for help in calling 911.
The USPS is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of those responsible.

Columbia University janitor Mario Torres provided one of the most heartwarming videos to come out of the takeover of a building at Columbia University by anti-Israel, pro-Hamas protesters.
As The Gateway Pundit reported earlier, Torres was photographed slamming 40-year-old trust fund kid James Carlson against the wall in Hamilton Hall while rabid leftists stormed the building late at night last Tuesday.
Torres later told reporter Francesca Block that the protesters were organized and their occupation of the building was planned.
The janitors, who were trapped in the building while under siege by radicals, shared that they were gripped with “sheer terror,” and the violent mob was armed with hand-drawn floor plans and supply lists.
Henry Clemente, a head custodian for Columbia, told The New York Post, “If you have masked people running through the building with zip ties and chains, you don’t know what they’re going to do — if they’re going to take you hostage, if you’re going to be tortured, if you’re going to be made an example.
While Clemente and his crew were cleaning up the wreckage, they discovered hand written secret plans that showed the takeover was anything but spontaneous. It was well planned.

Afterward, as he and his colleagues started to clean up the hall after NYPD cops busted up the occupation, Clemente discovered secret plans left behind by the highly organized rioters.
These included hand-drawn floor plans and supply lists noting locations of barricading equipment; a “task list” with items including setting up a pulley system and “security shifts” and even a schedule listing the times of the Muslim call to prayer.
The documents show that the protesters had insider knowledge of the campus and plotted the takeover in advance, he said.
“I’ve been working there a long time, so we know where the tunnels are, but they mapped everything out,” said Clemente, who has worked at Columbia for 17 years.
“They had a food room, a prayer room, the smoking room…they were in there for the long haul.”

An antisemitic sculpture has been removed by the Burning Man festival.
The piece was set to be included as part of an art installation set to be on display during the massive event this summer.
The 8-foot-by-14-foot fiberglass watermelon has the genocidal title “From the River to the Sea” and was previously listed on the event’s website as part of the installation, but organizers suggest it was only submitted to cause a “stir” and “likely won’t be part of the annual festival.”
A petition signed by more than 1,100 people demanded its removal.
The petitioners argued in the petition:
We, the undersigned, urgently call for the removal of the “From the River to the Sea” art installation at the Burning Man event. This installation features a phrase that has been condemned as antisemitic and recognized as a call for the destruction of Israel. Our concerns are rooted in the following facts:
As someone who has personally experienced the profound pain caused by antisemitic rhetoric, it is disheartening to see this installation using language that advocates for the annihilation of Israel. The phrase “From the River to the Sea” is more than just words; it is a battle cry that legitimizes violence against Jewish people and promotes a vision that denies the Jewish state’s right to exist. This slogan has haunted our community for generations, reviving memories of persecution and oppression.
Condemnation of the Slogan: The U.S. House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bipartisan resolution condemning the phrase “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free” as “outrightly antisemitic.” This resolution recognizes that the slogan denies the right to self-determination and calls for the eradication of Israel.
Recent Atrocities by Hamas: On October 7th, 2023, Hamas, a recognized terrorist group funded by Iran, brutally massacred over 1,400 Israelis. Hamas aims to destroy Israel and replace it with a regime of religious extremism. Their continued rocket attacks have left thousands wounded and displaced, with over 23,000 missiles fired at Israeli civilians since 2005.
Distortion of History: This slogan perpetuates the falsehood that Jews have no historical connection to the land between the Jordan River and the Mediterranean Sea. However, historical records demonstrate that Jewish civilization has been present in the region for over 3,000 years.
Why We Must Act Now: Leaving this art installation intact will only serve to embolden those who seek to spread hatred. Now, more than ever, we must stand united against antisemitism. By removing this installation, Burning Man can make a strong statement that hate has no place in our society. On Thursday, South Carolina’s Republican-led legislature approved House Bill 4624 to protect children from permanently altering gender mutilation with a 28-8 vote in the Senate and a 67-26 vote in the House.
TO AMEND THE SOUTH CAROLINA CODE OF LAWS BY ADDING CHAPTER 42 TO TITLE 44 SO AS TO DEFINE GENDER, SEX, AND OTHER TERMS, TO PROHIBIT THE PROVISION OF GENDER TRANSITION PROCEDURES TO A PERSON UNDER EIGHTEEN YEARS OF AGE, TO PROVIDE EXCEPTIONS, TO PROHIBIT THE USE OF PUBLIC FUNDS FOR GENDER TRANSITION PROCEDURES, AND TO PROVIDE PENALTIES; AND BY ADDING SECTION 59-32-36 SO AS TO PROHIBIT PUBLIC SCHOOL STAFF AND OFFICIALS FROM WITHHOLDING KNOWLEDGE OF A MINOR’S PERCEPTION OF THEIR GENDER FROM THE MINOR’S PARENTS, AMONG OTHER THINGS.
The bill prohibits medical professionals from giving puberty-blocking drugs or cross-sex hormones to children who are under 18 years old. It also bans “genital or nongenital gender reassignment surgery” for minors.
The bill specifies, “A physician, mental health provider, or other health care professional shall not knowingly provide gender transition procedures to a person under eighteen years of age.”
Those who violate the bill risk losing their licenses.
The bill also strengthens parents’ rights and requires schools to immediately notify parents in writing if their child claims to identify as something other than his or her sex or asks to be addressed by transgender pronouns.
School employees are also prohibited under the bill from withholding information about children’s gender confusion from their parents.
Republican Gov. Henry McMaster has already signaled his support for the bill and his intention to sign it, and the Bill would effect immediately upon his signature.
A large body of evidence shows that puberty blockers and cross-sex hormones cause serious, even life-threatening, injuries, such as cardiovascular disease, cancer, stroke, infertility, bone density loss, emotional problems, and permanent damage to reproductive organs.
Transgender surgeries include irreversible procedures to remove sexual organs and construct synthetic genitalia and other features intended to imitate those of the opposite sex. Research shows that people who undergo so-called “sex change” surgeries have an exponentially higher rate of suicide.
Pediatrician and consultant Dr. Hilary Cass conducted a comprehensive and lengthy review of international research into gender medicine for children for NHS England, which concludes that a lack of research and evidence on transgender medical interventions, such as puberty blockers and body-altering surgeries, is failing children.
Cass’s prior findings led to the banning of puberty blockers from children outside of clinical research in the UK.

Northwestern University has already signaled its willingness to cave to radical behavior.
The Gateway Pundit reported that the university recently announced their concessions to the radical Hamas supporters who took over their campus to end their protests and encampment.
Two of the most notable include the promise to offer full-ride scholarships to Palestinian students and the guarantee of faculty jobs for Palestinian academics.
The University will also provide special housing for Muslim students and will “advise employers not to rescind job offers for students engaging in speech protected by the First Amendment.”
However, it seems that at least one professor’s behavior is concerning enough that the school has launched an investigation.

Even more troubling was the content of a speech he gave to students at the pro-Hamas encampment, “Our Work is Love,” which was posted online. In his remarks, he dismissed the need for a commitment to objectivity for journalists and also referred to Ahmed Hassan, the son of a Houthi youth minister, as a “comrade.”
“To the Medill students and journalists within ear shot, I say to you: our work is not about objectivity. Our work is not about ‘scooping’ one another. Our work is about you putting your brilliant minds to work, and opening your compassionate hearts, and linking your arms together understanding all of our fates are interconnected.”

Hassan sees many other allies beyond American college campuses, according to screenshots compiled by The Fix.
Hassan recently shared a post in Arabic that said, “May God be satisfied with Hamas” and wrote “Hamas is winning.”
The terrorist group killed around 1,200 people, including small children, raped women, and took hundreds of hostages during its October 2023 attack on Israel.
“Israel is losing,” Hassan posted on April 6. “Soon enough, it will ask all the citizens to join the army[.] Hamas will end them all[.]”
In other posts, Hassan wrote “Hezbollah” with a supportive heart emoji and posted pictures of the flag of the Lebanese group, which has killed hundreds of Americans.
Hassan also reacted positively to a post celebrating “solidarity” between Iran and Yemen against Israel and reposted a user who said, “Love live Ansar Allah,” a reference to the Houthi rebels.

Joe Biden’s DOJ/FBI is hunting down pro-life conservatives while ignoring Antifa and BLM militants and the radical Hamas supporters shutting down and terrorizing college campuses.
Under Biden, the DOJ weaponized the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances (FACE) Act, a 1994 law that prohibits interfering with anyone obtaining or providing “reproductive health services,” as a punishment for the Supreme Court’s reversal of Roe v. Wade in June 2022.
After the Supreme Court ruling, Biden formed the DOJ-led Reproductive Rights Task Force to enforce the act.
According to The Epoch Times, The FACE Act has now been used 130 times against pro-life individuals but only used three times against pro-abortion protesters.
On Tuesday, pro-life advocate John Hinshaw, 69, was sentenced to 21 months in prison for blocking access to late-term abortionist Cesare Santangelo’s Washington Surgi-Clinic.

Hinshaw spent his career in human services working with the homeless, addicted, disabled, and otherwise marginalized populations.
LifeSite News reports that in August 2023, a D.C. jury found Hinshaw, Lauren Handy, Will Goodman, Heather Idoni, and Rosemary “Herb” Geraghty guilty of violating the FACE Act and “conspiracy against rights.”
The following month, Joan Andrews Bell, Jonathan Darnel, and Jean Marshall were convicted of the same and Paulette Harlow was convicted in November.
Hinshaw shared before his sentencing that he accepts his imprisonment to expiate the ‘great guilt’ of the pro-abortion judge, Colleen Kollar-Kotelly, presiding over his case.
Hinshaw declared, ‘I stand here for Judge Colleen Kollar-Kotelly to accept the punishment rightly hers,’ and condemned the judge’s ‘great guilt of pride, indifference, and intolerance.’
During this unjust imprisonment we were gifted with another baby granddaughter, Charlotte Millie, a fiesty little girl who came early – 32 weeks gestation. I know this court only considers her a “would-be child” at that age. On Tuesday, Columbia University student Saham David Ahmed Ali delivered the class speaker address at the Mailman School of Public Health’s commencement ceremony.
As she spoke, rather than focusing on the accomplishments of the students sharing an important moment in their lives, Ahmed Ali used it as an opportunity to push her personal agenda and delivered an anti-Israel, anti-Columbia tirade.
While speaking, her mic appeared to glitch multiple times when she mentioned Columbia’s “silence” over the ongoing Gaza war. However, it isn’t clear if the microphone was intentionally cut or was simply malfunctioning.
During the technical issues, the audience can cheer her on and chant, “Let her speak.”
Despite the technical difficulties, Ahmed Ali delivered her roughly 15-minute anti-Columbia and anti-Israel screed without further interruptions, where she falsely accused Israel of false claims of genocide and then bashed Columbia for not doing enough to address the ongoing situation in Gaza.
Ahmed Ali said it felt “dystopian” to walk the halls of the school “scrolling through social media, standing in our classrooms as I witness the genocide of the Palestinian people.”
“The silence on this campus and the pressure to say nothing while administration and professors assert that ‘we’re here for you’ while we’re actively witnessing the most televised genocide of our lives made me lose hope,” she said.
She called for NYPD officers to be removed from campus and for the protestors who were removed from campus to be granted amnesty.
She concluded her speech by listing off the demands from the anti-Israel student group Apartheid Divest, which has been involved in the disruptions on campus over the last several weeks.
Ahmed Ali did not, however, address Hamas’ use of rape as a tool of war, their attack on civilians, their murder of women and children, or the hostages that are still being held.

The Gateway Pundit reported that in September 2023, Jonathan Darnel, 41, of Arlington, Virginia.; Jean Marshall, 73, of Kingston, Massachusetts; Joan Bell, 74, of Montague, New Jersey, were each convicted of a felony conspiracy against rights and a FACE Act offense.
Lauren Handy, 28, of Alexandria, Virginia; John Hinshaw, 67, of Levittown, New York; Heather Idoni, 61, of Linden, Michigan; William Goodman, 52, of Bronx, New York; and Herb Geraghty, 25, of Pittsburgh were also found guilty of conspiring to blockade access to a clinic.
Now, seven members of Congress have sent a letter to U.S. Marshals Service Director Ronald L. Davis Director and Federal Bureau of Prisons Director Colette S. Peters to address the concerning treatment of two of the activists, Marshall and Idoni.
Idoni has been held in prison since she was convicted and before sentencing. It is accurate to say she is being tortured by the Biden Regime.
Idoni spoke with LifeSiteNews and shared the abuses she alleges she has faced while incarcerated.
The Gateway Pundit reported that Idoni recently suffered a stroke after 22 days of solitary confinement in prison for sharing food with fellow prisoners.
The letter to Davis and Peters reads in part:
We are deeply concerned by reports suggesting that the U.S. Marshal Service did not provide medically necessary health care services to two prisoners in its custody: Ms. Jean Marshall, 74, and Heather Idoni, 59. On May 15, 2024, Ms. Marshall was sentenced to 15 additional months in prison, and Ms. Idoni is scheduled to be sentenced next week.
We ask Director Davis to provide a clear and comprehensive account of the care provided to Ms. Idoni and Ms. Marshall during their time in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service.

Ms. Heather Idoni
Since at least August 2023, we understand that Ms. Idoni, has been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service. We understand she is being detained at The Central Detention Facility, known as DC Jail, located at 1901 D Street, SE, in Washington DC. Ms. Idoni has stated that she is not receiving appropriate care for a serious heart condition or for her diabetes.
On May 13, 2024, LifeSiteNews reported that Ms. Idoni had suffered a stroke two weeks previously. Following the stroke, Ms. Idoni said that she “had had 3 stents placed above her heart two weeks ago and was told to take daily doses of heart medicine. However, prison officials have not given her a single dose.”
LifeSiteNews reported that Ms. Idoni has repeatedly raised this issue with jail personnel. She says a jail nurse told her, after six days, that jail records indicate she received her daily dose, so Ms. Idoni is concerned that someone at the jail is falsifying her medical records.[1] Ms. Idoni told a reporter that “she was frightened that she might die.”
Ms. Idoni is also reported to suffer from diabetes. She has said that DC Jail did not offer her diabetes medication and she has been without any prescription for her diabetes. LifeSiteNews noted that Ms. Idoni, who has been held at six other jails since her arrest in 2022, had been able to get her diabetes medication at each of the previous jails. Ms. Idoni told the reporter, “So, my blood sugar numbers are a hundred points higher than they normally should be … My numbers have been perfect at all the other jails.”
Ms. Jean Marshall
Since at least September 15, 2023, we understand that Ms. Marshall has been in the custody of the U.S. Marshals Service. Until her sentencing on May 15, 2024, we understand she was being detained at William G. Truesdale Adult Detention Center in Alexandria, Virginia.
Ms. Marshall writes that she suffers from pain in her hip and an inability to walk. She reports that she was evaluated for osteoarthritis in both hips by Dr. Talmo of New England Baptist Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts. Ms. Marshall explains that she was scheduled for right hip surgery in October 2023 but was not allowed to keep her surgery date. She writes that, currently, “I am afraid to take an anti-inflammatory drug for pain due to the reflux, and today my right knee is stiff, preventing me from bending it, and so I just drag my right leg as I walk.” She also states that “my right leg was growing numb.”

The bitter ladies of ABC’s The View had a complete meltdown over Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker’s recent commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic institution.
Co-host Sara Haines put her anti-Catholic bigotry on full display, calling Butker and those who share his Catholic faith “extremists” and “cult-like.”
Haines said Butker is part of “a very extreme religion” because he attends a traditional Latin mass.
She added that a Latin mass is similar to the “cult-like and extremist like some religions in the Middle East and Asia.”
This is someone practicing what is called the traditional Latin Mass, which is divergent from the majority of Catholics and compared to being cult-like and extremist like some religions in the Middle East and Asia.

So, what I can say to him, as a Christian, is if you’re using this to oppress people or hold them down you’re not walking with Jesus. If you are using the religion, if you’re more obsessed with the religious rituals and practices than you are with the word of Jesus, you’re not walking with Jesus. And if you’re using it for the judgment of others and as a weapon to beat people down you’re also not walking with Jesus.
