The War on Jerry Seinfeld, Explained

By: Christian Toto — May 18th 2024 at 13:30
Some stars float on a bed of pure adulation. Dolly Parton comes to mind, as do Denzel Washington, Sandra Bullock and Betty White before her passing in 2021. Jerry Seinfeld just got bumped from that list. The 70-year-old comedian is best known for his self-titled sitcom, a sensation still felt in 2024 thanks to the streaming revolution. He’s worked sporadically since then, both on “Comedians in Cars Getting Coffee” and the stand-up circuit. That all changed when he gave a blunt interview to The New Yorker’s podcast.     Seinfeld, now starring in the Netflix comedy “Unfrosted,” blasted the “extreme Left” for hurting comedy. The comments immediately drew the media’s ire, although the think pieces aimed at rebutting his charge fired blanks. All his critics could do is say he’s too old, too white or too out of touch. Imagine lecturing Jerry Seinfeld on comedy. Bottom of Form Yes, there’s something wrong with that. His statement changed the way media outlets viewed the New York-based comic. The press adulation faded. In its place, a brand “reassessment.” The Hollywood Reporter fretted that Seinfeld’s new, outspoken mien could hurt his career, something John Nolte rightly noted is never mentioned when a star veers to the Left. CNN cranked out a think piece centered on the author’s “growing unease” over the clean comic. Slate worried aloud with a piece dubbed, “What’s the Deal with Jerry Seinfeld?” …he’s even started embracing his Judaism more publicly, and in December traveled to Tel Aviv to visit the families of Hamas hostages. Who can fault a Jewish celebrity for calling attention to the dead and missing of Israel? Yet he’s notably not commented on the Netanyahu government, condemned the war, or discussed the suffering of Gazans… Funny, nearly every celebrity not named Rapaport, Heaton, Messing or Schumer continues to ignore the Israel hostages held by the terrorists in Hamas without any Slate-approved hand-wringing. But we digress. That Slate piece wouldn’t exist had the comedian not accurately mocked the “extreme Left” for hurting comedy. The latest attack on the genial comic speaks volumes of today’s culture. Roughly 30 pro-Palestinian students protested Seinfeld’s Duke University commencement address Sunday. The walkouts got plenty of media attention, but they didn’t stop Seinfeld from sharing some advice to those about to enter the “real world.” “Whatever you’re doing, I don’t care if it’s your job, your hobby, a relationship, getting a reservation at M Sushi,” the comedian said. “Make an effort. Just pure, stupid, no-real-idea-what-I’m-doing-here effort. Effort always yields a positive value, even if the outcome of the effort is absolute failure of the desired result. This is a rule of life. Just swing the bat and pray is not a bad approach to a lot of things.” Why protest Seinfeld? The comedian is Jewish and he supports Israel’s right to defend itself against the worst terrorist attack in decades. The documentary “Screams Before Silence,” mostly ignored by film critics, captures the Oct. 7 atrocities by the Hamas terrorist group/government. For that, select students felt Seinfeld wasn’t an appropriate choice to greet the graduates. And it’s not the first time Seinfeld endured heckling for his pro-Israeli views. Protesters shouted at him when he left a New York event in February featuring The Free Press founder Bari Weiss. Seinfeld remains a beloved figure to many. They’ll always appreciate the laughter “Seinfeld” brought into their lives. Others embrace a comedian who sticks to his squeaky-clean image in our troubled times. Seinfeld still isn’t political by nature, and his off-screen life rarely intersects with the Beltway. That doesn’t matter. Like J.K. Rowling, he’ll never be viewed the same way by the hard Left and the press, two groups with sizable overlap. For Rowling, defying the trans movement earned her a Scarlet Letter of sorts for her former defenders. Seinfeld’s willingness to pin comedy’s decline on the far-Left similarly stained him with that movement. Rowling, once revered for her progressive views and positive impact on children’s reading habits, is now a pariah on the Left. That won’t change unless she attempts an extended apology and becomes an “ally” for the trans cause. And the author isn’t budging. Neither she nor Seinfeld will be treated as a beloved icon again, at least in certain quarters. The Daily Beast dredges up an embarrassing chapter from Seinfeld’s past to keep the attacks. coming. The comedian’s romance with a 17-year-old “resurfaced” on social media, and the far-Left Beast happily amplified the narrative. The comic was 38 at the time, and while the courtship fueled the gossip pages it wasn’t the worst attack on him. That came courtesy of Howard Stern. The shock jock invited folk singer Janis Ian on his show to sing an updated version of her hit song “At Seventeen” to mock Seinfeld.

MUST SEE: Maricopa County Recorder Candidate Justin Heap DESTROYS RINO Incumbent Stephen Richer in Debate – Asks Crowd Who Has Received an Extra Mail-in Ballot and Nearly Half Raise Hands (VIDEO)

By: Jordan Conradson — May 18th 2024 at 12:40
Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer booed at debate

Maricopa County Recorder candidate Justin Heap destroyed incumbent RINO Stephen Richer Wednesday with one question for the audience during a debate at the Palo Verde Republican Women’s Club’s May 15 luncheon.

Heap asked the crowd to “raise your hand if you personally or someone you know received an extra ballot at your house during the last election cycle,” and nearly half the attendees raised their hand!

Heap: The fundamental and most important job of the County Recorder has to be to clean and maintain our voter rolls. And I suspect that, despite what Mr. Richer says, that he is cleaning it, that we are not doing it.

Now let me try to illustrate that. Please raise your hand if you personally or someone you know received an extra ballot at your house during the last election cycle. I’ve done this with hundreds of Republican groups; never fails that half the hands or a third of the hands go up. How does that happen if we are cleaning and maintaining our voter rolls? That is a massive error, and this is the reason that people do not trust the system. We are clearly not doing an effective job as you all just witnessed. I will clean up the voter rolls.

You can support Justin Heap for Maricopa County Recorder here. Story continues below…

The Maricopa County Recorder oversees early voting in the County. Heap will face Richer in Arizona’s July 30 primary.

The Gateway Pundit has reported extensively on election fraud in Maricopa County relating to mail-in ballots. This includes missing chain of custody documentation and forged signatures on phony mail-in ballots and ballots sent to the wrong addresses or even vacant lots.

The Gateway Pundit correspondent Jordan Conradson reported after reviewing a few hundred mail-in ballot signatures for votes that were counted in the stolen 2022 election that roughly 10% of ballots had questionable or outright fraudulent signatures:

TGP EXCLUSIVE: Limited Maricopa County 2022 Ballot Signature Review Shows Obviously Mismatched Signatures Accepted at Level One – VIEW RECORDS HERE

Stephen Richer, who ran in 2020 claiming that he would stop election fraud in Maricopa County, now claims that the elections are not fraudulent and has come to be viewed as disgraceful among Republican voters for suing Kari Lake over her fraud claims.

The crowd booed him during the debate:

Attendees at the event used the opportunity to troll Richer in photos with the soon-to-be former County Recorder. Aubrey Savela, who, as The Gateway Pundit reported, received two mail-in ballots in the presidential preference election earlier this year, held up the peace sign "since [Richer] sent me 2 ballots back in March."

— Aubrey Savela (@aubrey_savela) May 15, 2024

Ashley Earle held a thumbs-down, called Richer a b*tch, and likened him to Scott Evil, the whiny redheaded son of Dr. Evil in the film Austin Powers.

This Bitch actually thought I wanted to take a picture with him! How ‘bout no, Scott, okay…
(Austin Powers). No for Steven Richer, My vote is for Justin Heap.
Btw, I don’t like woke Diet Coke! https://t.co/zu3If8NJzR pic.twitter.com/IvVXS24v3m

— Ashley Earle (@AshleyEarle76) May 16, 2024

Justin Heap later claimed victory in an X post, commenting:

Election Integrity won BIG on the debate stage yesterday!

I crushed the County Recorder & showed that the Voter Rolls are not being cleaned!

He wants more laws!

NO! We need a County Recorder who will follow the law!

Vote Justin Heap for Maricopa County Recorder on July 30!

Thank you @PaloVerdeRW Club for hosting  & @JanDubauskas for moderating!

Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers responded, "That’s our MAN."

That’s our MAN, @azjustinheap! https://t.co/wswtS4W4S8

Grassroots activist and EZAZ founder Merissa Hamilton shared a funny video trolling Richer after the event, calling heap's move a "MIC DROP."

Frank Luntz Delivers More Bad News to Democrats: “A Third of Male Black Voters Could End Up With Trump in the Fall” (Video)

By: Margaret Flavin — May 18th 2024 at 12:20

One of the most talked about aspects of the 2024 Presidential election so far is the movement of minority voters to President Trump.

NEW :

American politics is in the midst of a racial realignment.

I think this is simultaneously one of the most important social trends in the US today, and one of the most poorly understood. pic.twitter.com/QeRsuMSKaL

— John Burn-Murdoch (@jburnmurdoch) March 11, 2024

According to a recent survey,  two specific reasons for this are economic issues, such as the crippling inflation of Joe Biden as well as the  Democrats’ rush to embrace the most extreme elements in their party.

Pollster Franz Luntz spoke with CNN and underscored the trend.

Luntz said, “But specifically, with black voters, it’s not all black voters.  It’s younger Black voters and particularly younger Black men.  I discovered this when I got off a plane at JKF when two baggage handlers come over to me and to tell me I don’t get it.”

“That they are going to vote for Donald Trump because they think are being victimized the same way he is.”

“In some of these votes that have left Joe Biden over the last four years, it’s because of Biden’s weakness.  In this case, young Black men see in Donald Trump the same kind of oppression, the same kind of persecution. The idea that Trump is a victim and they feel victimized by the system and so they’re endorsing Trump because of the fight that he’s having.”

“And I actually think it’s possible that among Black voters, male Black voters under the age of 40, that a third of them could end up with Trump in the fall.”

CDC Links 84% of Measles Cases in Chicago to Illegal Aliens from Venezuela

By: Cassandra MacDonald — May 18th 2024 at 12:00

A Centers for Disease Control report has linked 84 percent of the recent cases of measles in Chicago to illegal aliens from Venezuela.

The other 16 percent of cases are linked to people traveling from Peru and Chile.

The Daily Mail reports:

New information reveals that the spate of 57 cases at the Pilsen migrant shelter can be traced back to a one year-old boy who had only received one of the two vital vaccines.

The majority of the cases — 72 percent — were among unvaccinated people, the CDC said.

The report cites overcrowding at the center for the rampant spread, with 500 people said to be crammed into a single room.

The first patient had arrived in the US less than five months before he became ill. He had received one dose of the MMR vaccine five weeks prior to his rash.

He had no recent travel history or known exposure to measles, and was taken to the hospital on February 27.

The young child who was infected has now recovered, but it is unclear how many migrants were exposed to it at the shelter.

Chicago Alderman Byron Sigcho-Lopez, who represents the neighborhood where the shelter is located, told NewsNation in March, “Right now, with this potential exposure to a rapidly spreading virus such as measles, it’s critical to have an isolation plan.”

The alderman continued, “People need to be in isolation while they are being tested and will learn more of the assessment while people are sheltering in place, and we will wait for the results of the tests.”

“This is, unfortunately, a process that is too long when you have 1,800 people (in the shelter),” Sigcho-Lopez said. “I recognize the process that has been made, but given how quickly this virus is spreading, we need to get people isolated.

“I think what we want from the governor is the commitment to better protocols so we can work toward better conditions and prevent cases like this.”

ABC, Once Again, Helps The Left Smear Alito

By: Alex Christy — May 18th 2024 at 12:21
After not-so cleverly trying and failing to get Justice Clarence Thomas to recuse himself from important Supreme Court cases related to January 6, the left and the media have moved on to try to not-so cleverly get Justice Samuel Alito to recuse himself based on a photo of an upside-down flag outside his home that was said to show support for the rioters. On Saturday’s Good Morning America, ABC White House correspondent MaryAlice Parks omitted key details from Alito’s side of the story as she also hyped that even the appearance of bias can undermine the Court’s credibility. It was ABC’s second day in a row of echoing the smear and co-host Whit Johnson showed the picture and introduced Parks by noting, “This morning Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is under fire. The New York Times obtaining this photo of an American flag flying upside down reportedly at Alito's home in the days just after the January 6th riot. ABC's White House correspondent, MaryAlice Parks, joins us now from Washington with more. MaryAlice, good morning.”     For Parks, “The central question here is whether Justice Alito or someone from his family was trying to show solidarity with those who wanted to subvert the 2020 Election results or even with those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th. Now, according to the New York Times, the American flag flew upside down for days at the Alito House right before President Biden's inauguration. Flags, of course, are never supposed to be flown upside down unless to signal great distress, but former President Trump’s supporters had adopted it as a symbol, some even carrying it as they stormed the Capitol.” If it is really “the central question,” then some discussion on Alito’s record on the 2020 Election would be appropriate, but Parks wasn’t interested in that. Instead, she recalled, “Justice Alito did not reply to our request but blamed his wife in a comment to the Times and has downplayed the incident. Still, the leading Democrat on the Senate Judiciary Committee, Dick Durbin, is calling for Alito to recuse himself from all January 6th-related cases. The Court is expected to rule on two cases related to the attack on the Capitol in the next few weeks, including one about whether Trump has immunity for his actions.” Parks completely misrepresented and omitted key details of Alito’s side of the story. He was not blaming his wife, he was simply explaining she was on the receiving end of abuse from nasty neighbors who blamed her for January 6 and used vile language, including the C-word. For all the media complaints about Harrison Butker, the media sure seems to be upset that Alito and Thomas don’t sufficiently control their wives. Still, Parks played the “people are saying” card, “Now, since the news broke, several legal scholars have been questioning whether Alito showed bias here and damaged his credibility. Of course, even the perception of a conflict of interest could be problematic and undermine faith in the courts. Janai.” Co-host Janai Norman agreed, “And that is one of the concerns, MaryAlice. Thank you.” What is the ideological bent of these “legal scholars?” Could it be that they have political axes to grind? Could they be ginning up controversy to pressure the Court to rule a certain way or delegitimize it if it rules another? Again, Parks wasn’t interested. Here is a transcript for the May 18 show: ABC Good Morning America 5/18/2024 7:09 AM ET WHIT JOHNSON: This morning Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito is under fire. The New York Times obtaining this photo of an American flag flying upside down reportedly at Alito's home in the days just after the January 6th riot. ABC's White House correspondent, MaryAlice Parks, joins us now from Washington with more. MaryAlice, good morning. MARYALICE PARKS: Yeah, Whit, good morning. The central question here is whether Justice Alito or someone from his family was trying to show solidarity with those who wanted to subvert the 2020 Election results or even with those who stormed the Capitol on January 6th. Now, according to the New York Times, the American flag flew upside down for days at the Alito house right before President Biden's inauguration. Flags, of course, are never supposed to be flown upside down unless to signal great distress, but former President Trump’s supporters had adopted it as a symbol, some even carrying it as they stormed the Capitol. PBS 'News Judgment': Upside-Down Alito Flag Bigger Than Potential Kavanaugh Assassin

By: Tim Graham — May 18th 2024 at 11:57
On Friday’s PBS NewsHour, the Week in Review segment dove into the New York Times “scoop” that the flag flew upside down for a few days in January 2021 outside the home of Supreme Court justice Samuel Alito. This was Big News? Two years ago, when a man showed up outside Justice Brett Kavanaugh’s house intending to assassinate him, the NewsHour didn’t find that worthy on Friday June 10, 2022. Of course, the Big News then was slobbering over the Pelosi-picked January 6 Committee, just as this Alito story is a January 6 echo.  CAPEHART: This is outrageous. And it's outrageous because this is a Supreme Court justice who, at the time that flag was flown, was sitting in judgment of a particular case involving the — still, at that point, the sitting president. The other thing is, could you imagine what would have happened if that flag was flying like that on the property of Ruth Bader Ginsburg or Ketanji Brown Jackson, someone from the liberal wing on the bench of the Supreme Court? They would have been impeached. And so the idea that we're supposed to accept Justice Alito's rationale here that, oh, my wife did it, it's unacceptable. And I think it just feeds into the erosion of the trust and the standing of the Supreme Court with the American public. Capehart and PBS and all their leftist media colleagues are actively trying to erode trust in the Supreme Court, because they’re not in charge of it right now. Washington Free Beacon editor Eliana Johnson subbed in for David Brooks, which means you get an actual conservative viewpoint for a change. JOHNSON: I don't think that the good liberal readers of The New York Times or viewers of this network would be willing to argue with a straight face that the views of a woman — and she has not come out to say that she didn't do this — are derivative of her husband's views. My husband has nothing to do with the things I say on this network, and you can't have it both ways. You cannot say that women are strong and should be out and employed and have their own views and that their husbands are responsible for everything they then go and do. Capehart then repeated his point: "And if that had happened, again, to RBG, they would be raining thunder calling for her resignation. And I wouldn't — I would have a hard time arguing with them." Earlier, Capehart made snippy points against Trump as he and the president agreed to debates: "Even though Donald Trump did agree to these two debates, I will believe it when I see it. I don't think he actually shows up." When anchor Geoff Bennett asked why Trump would lower expectations of Biden's debating skills at this point, Capehart hissed: "But we're talking about Donald Trump, who never misses an opportunity to belittle someone he's afraid of, but just to belittle anyone."

Landmark Las Vegas Casino Closing, Demolition Scheduled for This Year

By: Jack Davis, The Western Journal — May 18th 2024 at 11:40

The Mirage hotel is closing in July, ending a 34-year run as a landmark on the Las Vegas Strip.

Hard Rock International said the hotel, which it bought in 2022, will close July 17, according to ABC.

The Hard Rock Hotel & Casino and Guitar Hotel Las Vegas will take the place of The Mirage.

“The property will be reimagined and developed into a new integrated resort featuring a nearly 700 ft. guitar-shaped hotel prominently in the center of the famous Las Vegas Strip,” the company said, noting that the new hotel is scheduled for opening in 2027.

The signature design of the new Hard Rock Las Vegas will be a 660-foot-tall hotel tower shaped as guitars, which will be built on the site of Mirage’s iconic volcano that has been a popular attraction since the hotel opened in 1989.

“We’d like to thank the Las Vegas community and team members for warmly welcoming Hard Rock after enjoying 34 years at The Mirage,” Chairman of Hard Rock International Jim Allen said.

In April, the Strip lost another icon when The Tropicana Las Vegas closed just before its 67th anniversary. The Tropicana is supposed to be the site of a baseball stadium that will be the future home of the Oakland A’s.

END OF AN ERA: The iconic Mirage hotel-casino on the Las Vegas Strip will shut its doors this summer, the end of an era for a property credited with helping transform Sin City into an ultra-luxury resort destination. https://t.co/Xbrj2IL5XT pic.twitter.com/c3H83SrdxW

— ABC7 Eyewitness News (@ABC7) May 15, 2024

The Mirage was opened in 1989 by casino mogul Steve Wynn, according to CNN.

MGM Resorts bought the hotel from Wynn in 2000. In 2022, Hard Rock International bought the property for over $1 billion.

The closing will cost more than 3,000 people their jobs, according to the Associated Press.

The Culinary and Bartenders Union accounts for about 1,700 workers, the Los Angeles Times reported. Union members will have a choice between taking a severance package of $2,000 for every year of service plus six months of pension and health benefits or a lower payout that preserves seniority rights for new jobs in the new hotel.

“Culinary Union members at The Mirage have a strong union contract, ensuring that workers are protected, even as the property closes its doors entirely for three years from July 2024 – May 2027,” said Ted Pappageorge, Culinary Union secretary-treasurer.

The new hotel expects to hire almost 7,000 people.

Resort President Joe Lupo told the staff Wednesday about the closing, according to the Las Vegas Review-Journal.

“We really are encouraged about not only the future of Las Vegas, but how Hard Rock and Seminole Tribe can play a role in helping to develop that and grow the market,” Lupo said. The Seminole Tribe owns Hard Rock International.

“But today is a tough day for a lot of people. Our priority is the well-being of those individuals,” he said.

Dr. Who Actor Blames Series Tanking Ratings on “Racists”

By: Margaret Flavin — May 18th 2024 at 11:20
Ncuti Gatwa as Dr. Who/Image: Video screenshot

Over the last 60 years, the BBC show Dr. Who has developed a cult following. The series has seen 14 actors in the title role, with actor Ncuti Gatwa most recently taking over.

Ratings for the current iteration, however, have been slipping, and Gatwa claims that it is because of racists who can’t stand seeing a non-white individual portraying the main character.

While the show has always had socially progressive roots, producer Russell T. Davies recently told Rolling Stone his current incarnation is written to be especially progressive.

Episodes in the newest season include redesigning a flip phone so it doesn’t look like a gun, a character defending a “non-binary” child against “transphobes,” and an entire episode dedicated to pushing abortion.

But for Gatwa, it couldn’t possibly be shoving an endlessly progressive agenda down viewers’ throats, causing a downturn in viewership.

It must be racism.

Bounding into Comics shared Gatwa’s recent interview with NPR.

From there, Deggan would turn to press Gatwa for his thoughts on the mountains of criticism fans have leveled towards Davies’ aforementioned decision to focus the series’ narrative on overt sociopolitical messaging – “If you’re not writing that [in 2024], what on Earth are you doing?” the showrunner declared during a previous interview with Rolling Stone – rather than entertainment.

However, instead of earnestly actually engaging with the substance of this very specific and widespread complaint, Gatwa instead moved to paint those fans who have tuned out of Doctor Who as nothing more than anti-black racists.

“I don’t want to diminish racial aggression at all, but for me, personally, I find it fascinating that it matters so much to these people,” said the actor. “You are going to limit yourselves from a show that you love because you don’t like something about someone’s appearance. It’s just, like, really sad for them.”

It should come as no surprise that the new, progressive-agenda-pushing version of “Doctor Who” debuted on Disney+ on May 14.

Dozens of Marijuana Plants Removed from Wisconsin Capitol Tulip Garden

By: Cassandra MacDonald — May 18th 2024 at 11:00

Dozens of what appeared to be marijuana plants have been removed from the Wisconsin Capitol tulip garden.

Workers removed the plants on Friday.

The Associated Press reports:

Tatyana Warrick, a spokeswoman for the state Department of Administration, told The Associated Press in an email Friday that workers had removed the plants, but that her agency couldn’t determine if they were marijuana or hemp. Both are forms of cannabis, but only marijuana has the compound that gets people high.

Warrick didn’t respond to questions about how the plants might have made it into the garden.

University of Wisconsin-Madison botanist Shelby Ellison, who examined the plants for WMTV before they were removed, told the station that they were cannabis plants. But she told The Associated Press on Friday that she couldn’t say for certain whether they were marijuana or hemp.

She said there were dozens of the plants in the garden, suggesting someone planted them intentionally.

“It was just a large number of plants for it to be anything accidental,” Ellison said.

Marijuana, in any form, is illegal in Wisconsin.

Home Intruder with Long Rap Sheet “Cut to Pieces” by Florida Man After Shooting Innocent Woman in the Face

By: Cullen Linebarger — May 18th 2024 at 10:40
Credit: Highlands County Sheriff’s Office

A low-life career criminal paid the ultimate price after breaking into a Florida man’s home and shooting his wife.

WESH reported that Highland County police officers responded to a suspicious incident at a home in Avon Park at roughly 8:30 p.m. Once deputies arrived on the scene, they found a male and female with severe injuries. Both were revealed to be 69-years-old.

In addition to the wounded couple, cops found there was a dead man not related to the couple inside the residence. Police identified the person as 62-year-old Lindsey Glenn and said he broke into the residence and shot the female victim in the face.

Highlands County Sheriff Paul Blackman told reporters Glenn gained entry into the couple’s home under a scam that involved the woman’s job as a notary.

After the male victim witnessed Glenn try to kill his wife, Blackman said the man grabbed a seven-inch garden knife and went to work on the intruder. Glenn ended up dying brutally as a result.

Blackman revealed the thug was “cut to pieces” and “very much deceased” when deputies found him. The sheriff thanked the male victim for his heroic actions.

“I would like to commend the male victim for his bravery and quick action in defending his wife and their home,” Blackman said. “This investigation is still very active and ongoing.”

Blackman went on to call the male victim, who is retired from Pride Industries, an “upstanding citizen.”

WFLA reported that it’s unknown whether the victims and the alleged perpetrator knew each other before the assault. The motive also remains unclear, but the sheriff’s office thinks that Glenn believed the notary would have cash on hand.

WESH revealed the female victim was transported to a trauma center and is expected to survive her horrific injury. The man was sent to a local hospital and has since been released.

Glenn has a long rap sheet with at least 12 different felonies according to Blackman. The crimes include robbery and burglary.

Blackman added that Glenn has been sent to state prison at least six times.

MSNBC Spews Fake News About Butker Speech To Warn About GOP 'Misogyny'

By: Alex Christy — May 18th 2024 at 10:41
MSNBC’s Alex Wagner continued the media tradition of spreading fake news about what exactly Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker told a Catholic college during a recent commencement address. Wagner falsely reported that Butker told the women graduates “their rightful place was in service to men” as her guest, law Prof. Leah Lithman, urged viewers to vote against GOP “misogyny.” What makes Wagner’s falsehoods even worse is that she previously played the clip of Butker saying that while some of them may get fancy jobs and promotions, he ventured to guess they were mostly looking forward to the families they would raise. That someone would value their family more than their job is not exactly a radical position, but Wagner still lamented, “On Saturday, during a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic school in Kansas, Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker railed against abortion and IVF, he called birth control ‘unnatural,’ diversity, equity and inclusion ‘tyranny’ and queer pride a ‘deadly sin.’ Then he addressed the women graduates directly telling them that their rightful place was in service to men.”     Wagner rolled on, “Butker verbalized a decades-long conservative project, one that has manifested into real life policy. Already there are 21 states with abortion bands, 31 states where anti-DEI measures have been either passed or introduced and 12 states with anti-LGBTQ laws. The anti-feminist Christian Nationalist agenda is alive and well and it is gaining ground.” What do “anti-DEI” or “anti-LGBTQ laws” mean? Nobody knows because Wagner didn’t specify. Instead, she introduced Litman and asked, “just to put into perspective the things that Harrison Butker was talking about, I want to read this line from the inimitable Jessica Valenti, this is what she’s writing about, ‘Butker’s remarks weren't ‘fringe’ or radical’ she says ‘they're the law, he was simply saying out loud what Republicans have already codified, that women's role in this country is to bear children and support men who are the actual stars of the show.’ What do you make of that?” Litman replied, “I think that is a really terrifying statement that captures the current political moment we are living in, the district judge in the case that ordered the nationwide ban on medication abortion, is a judge, who before he became a judge, railed against no fault divorce laws, that actually allow people to get divorced.” She also lamented, “You have Republican political operatives ginning up theories that would allow them to revive an 1873 Victorian-era law, the Comstock Act, that would prohibit abortion nationwide. These theories are not fringe, they are being propounded by Republican politicians, at the state, local, and federal level and these are the stakes in the upcoming election and likely all future ones as long as the Republican Party leans into the movement for Christian nationalism and the misogyny that underlies it.” If Wagner were to ask Butker if he viewed being a husband and a father as more important or satisfying than being a professional football player, he would almost certainly say yes, but asking it would upset the narrative. Here is a transcript for the May 17 show: MSNBC Alex Wager Tonight 5/17/2024 9:55 PM ET ALEX WAGNER: On Saturday, during a commencement speech at Benedictine College, a Catholic school in Kansas, Kansas City Chiefs kicker, Harrison Butker railed against abortion and IVF, he called birth control "unnatural," diversity, equity and inclusion "tyranny" and queer pride a "deadly sin." Already there are 21 states with abortion bands, 31 states where anti-DEI measures have been either passed or introduced and 12 states with anti-LGBTQ laws. The anti-feminist Christian Nationalist agenda is alive and well and it is gaining ground. Joining me now is Leah Litman, law professor at the University of Michigan and one of the co-hosts of the Strict Scrutiny podcast. Leah, thank you for joining me, just to put into perspective the things that Harrison Butker was talking about, I want to read this line from the inimitable Jessica Valenti, this is what she’s writing about, “Butker’s remarks weren't ‘fringe’ or radical” she says “they're the law, he was simply saying out loud what Republicans have already codified, that women's role in this country is to bear children and support men who are the actual stars of the show.” What do you make of that? LEAH LITMAN: I think that is a really terrifying statement that captures the current political moment we are living in, the district judge in the case that ordered the nationwide ban on medication abortion, is a judge, who before he became a judge, railed against no fault divorce laws, that actually allow people to get divorced. There are many states that now restrict divorces in cases where people are pregnant. You have Republican politicians on the Supreme Court debating whether states can prohibit abortion in cases where denying women an abortion would jeopardize their bodily organs and major bodily functions.  You have Republican political operatives ginning up theories that would allow them to revive an 1873 Victorian-era law, the Comstock Act, that would prohibit abortion nationwide. These theories are not fringe, they are being propounded by Republican politicians, at the state, local, and federal level and these are the stakes in the upcoming election and likely all future ones as long as the Republican Party leans into the movement for Christian nationalism and the misogyny that underlies it.

INSANITY: Indiana’s WNBA Coach Christie Sides Tells Reporters She Wants to Reshape Caitlin Clark’s Game and Make the Greatest Scorer in NCAA History a 2-Point Shooter – You Just Can’t Make This Up!

By: Guest Contributor — May 18th 2024 at 10:20

Guest post by Joe Hoft at JoeHoft.com – republished with permission.

This is the definition of insanity.

Indiana Fever’s head coach Christie Sides believes she needs to teach the greatest shooter in NCAA women’s basketball history when to shoot. She announced after the Fever’s latest drubbing that she was going to make Caitlin Clark, the game’s greatest three-point shooter of all time, into a two-point shooter.

Just how clueless is this coach?

Here is a reminder of some of the records Caitlin Clark set in women’s basketball in the NCAA while at the University of Iowa:

NCAA records

Most career points — Division I, men’s and women’s (3,951)

Most points in single season — Division I, women’s (1,234)

Most career 3-pointers — Division I, men’s and women’s (548)

Most 3-pointers in a single season — Division I, men’s and women’s (201)

NCAA Tournament records

Most career points — Division I, men’s or women’s (491)

Most career assists — Division I, men’s or women’s (152)

Most career 3-pointers — Division I, men’s or women’s (78)

Most points in single tournament — Division I, men’s or women’s (191)

Most 3-pointers in single tournament — Division I, men’s or women’s (32)

Big Ten records

Most career points in Big Ten history

Most career 3-pointers in Big Ten history

Most career assists in Big Ten history

Most points in single season in Big Ten history

Most 3-pointers in single season in Big Ten history

Most assists in single season in Big Ten history

Most free throws in single season in Big Ten history

Most Big Ten Player of the Week honors in Big Ten history

Iowa records

Most career points in Iowa history

Most career assists in Iowa history

Most points in single game in Iowa history

Most points in single season by a freshman in Iowa history

Most assists in single season by a freshman in Iowa history

Clark was the player of the year in her junior and senior years in school and won numerous awards in the process.

But she joined one of the worst teams in the WNBA. Watching them play, you can see why they are so terrible.

To fix the situation, the coach of the Indiana Fever believes she needs to teach Caitlin Clark how to shoot better to remedy the situation… THIS IS INSANE!

Reporter:  Christie, when you look at Kaitlyn, she took two two-pointers in the first preseason game, three today. Is there a balance? What are you seeing that’s causing that? Is there a balance you’d like to see with that, or is that something you plan to address?

Coach Christie Sides:  Yeah, I think she’s used to some shots that she’s taken in the last few years that are just those deep shots. I don’t know if there’s times she comes off ball screens where she’s open in that long two area, and we’ve got to get her comfortable taking that long two. She’s going to get looks. She’s going to get open looks. She’s got to figure out, like I gave her a rule the other day, she’s got 0.5 seconds to make a decision. When she gets off the ball, and she hits one of our high posts and somebody in the high post, she has a habit of hanging out and dancing. That’s what she’s done. It’s these habits that we’ve got to break. She’s got players around her now that she can get out, she can go screen, and the ball is going to get back to her. That’s what she hasn’t had in the past. That’s what we’ve been trying to show her and explain to her.

Absolutely clueless. She wants to change basketball’s greatest shooter to fit her losing program!  It is unbelievable!

She is out to destroy Clark and the league’s first major star in 28 years. What an ego!

Clark, the greatest shooter in women’s basketball history, only took eight shots in Thursday night’s game. She can’t score if she can’t shoot! Her lost teammates do not even look to pass to Clark. Clark spends a lot of time in the corner of the court based on the Fever’s coach’s directions. The team is happy throwing up airballs and ignoring Clark.

That is the problem!

The league is filling EVERY arena in the country where Clark is set to play in the coming weeks.  Tickets are at an all-time high.  The fans did not come to see Caitlin Clark sit in a corner and not shoot.

The clock is ticking… The WNBA better figure this out before it’s too late and they lose their new found fan base forever!  Fans are not filling arenas to watch Clark take only 9 shots a game!

Other teams foul Clark and get away with it and Sides does nothing. Clark is called for fouls that look like non-fouls, Sides says nothing.

So the solution to the second-year head coach with a losing record, who’s 0-2 so far this year, is to teach Clark how to shoot better.

The solution should be to tell Clark to shoot every time down court. and tell her teammates to get her the ball.

That would be too easy.

How stupid. You better wake up!

Indiana needs a new coach – now!

Seven More Pro-Life Activists Sentenced to Prison for Protesting at Late-Term Abortion Clinic

By: Cassandra MacDonald — May 18th 2024 at 10:00

Seven pro-life activists were sentenced to prison this week for protesting at a late-term abortion clinic in 2020.

The activists were convicted of violating the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act and “conspiracy against rights” for a sit-in protest at the Surgi-Clinic in Washington, D.C.

Three activists were sentenced on Tuesday, and four more were sentenced on Wednesday.

The Daily Wire reports:

On Wednesday, Jonathan Darnel, Herb Geraghty, Jean Marshall, and Joan Bell were all sentenced to prison. Darnel got 34 months in prison, Geraghty got 27 months, Marshall got 24 months, and Bell got 27 months. The sentences followed Tuesday’s sentencing of Lauren Handy to 57 months in prison, as well as John Hinshaw (21 months) and William Goodman (27 months).

During the protest, the pro-life protesters sang songs, prayed, locked arms in front of the facility’s staff entrance, and attached themselves with ropes and chains to block doors inside the building.

“As evidenced by today’s sentencings, the FBI and our judicial system will not tolerate the obstruction of civil rights,” said David Sundberg of the FBI Washington Field Office. “The FBI will continue to investigate FACE Act violations in all jurisdictions, so patients and providers can exercise their right to receive or provide lawful reproductive health care without the threat of violence or intimidation.”

In 2022, Handy, obtained a box containing 115 aborted fetuses from outside the Surgi-Center. Five of them appeared to be within the 26-32 week range, which is typically considered far enough along to survive outside the womb.

Last week, the remains of five infants were delivered to DC Metro police in a condition consistent with partial birth abortion or infanticide.

I’m calling for a full medical examination and police investigation to determine when and how these innocent babies died. pic.twitter.com/B2wRkKNgzs

— Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (@RepMTG) April 5, 2022

Handy and other anti-abortion activists called on the District of Columbia to investigate if any of the babies had been born alive, but the city refused. Partial-birth abortion remains against the law in the district.

Ashan Benedict, D.C. police’s executive assistant chief of police, said during a press conference that they appeared to have been aborted “in accordance with D.C. law [and] there doesn’t seem to be anything criminal in nature about that except for how they got into this house.” The department refused to order autopsies to confirm the claim.

The clinic is run by Dr. Cesare Santangelo, who was captured on video by Live Action News in 2013 saying that he does not provide life-saving care for viable, premature babies born after a failed abortion.

Sales of Harrison Butker’s NFL Jersey SKYROCKET After Epic Commencement Speech, Outpacing Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes

By: Ben Kew — May 18th 2024 at 09:45

Jersey sales of Kansas City Chiefs star Harrison Butker have skyrocketed since he delivered his conservative-themed commencement speech at Benedictine College last weekend.

Butker, who is a placekicker for the Kansas City Chiefs and three-time Super Bowl Champion, discussed a wide range of issues, including the challenges posed by the COVID pandemic, Joe Biden’s appalling leadership and the importance of the Catholic faith.

— Collin Rugg (@CollinRugg) May 13, 2024

Now, jersey sales for Butker are on the rise, even outpacing that of fellow stars Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce.

CBS Sports reported:

Harrison Butker currently has the top-selling jersey on the Kansas City Chiefs following the controversial statements he made during a recent commencement speech at Benedictine College. As of Friday afternoon, sales of the veteran kicker’s jersey are even outpacing those of teammates Patrick Mahomes and Travis Kelce, according to the official NFL Shop.

Listed among the “Top Sellers” on the official website, Butker’s No. 7 jersey has gotten quite a bump after the kicker’s polarizing remarks. CBS Sports has reached out to the NFL about the specific sales numbers.

Such news will come as a bitter blow to the woke NFL, which quickly sought to distance itself from Butker’s conservative and religious worldview.

“Harrison Butker gave a speech in his personal capacity,” said Jonathan Beane, the NFL’s senior vice president and chief diversity and inclusion officer. “His views are not those of the NFL as an organization. The NFL is steadfast in our commitment to inclusion, which only makes our league stronger.”

Meanwhile, Kansas City is now under investigation for potential violations of Butker’s human rights after Mayor Quinton Lucas doxxed him on the X platform.

“My office is demanding accountability after Kansas City doxxed Harrison Butker last night for daring to express his religious beliefs,” said Missouri Attorney General Andrew Bailey. “I will enforce the Missouri Human Rights Act to ensure Missourians are not targeted for their free exercise of religion.”

Amid France Chaos, Brigitte Macron Is Trying To Meddle in Her Failed Husband Emmanuel’s Presidential Mandate: Report

By: Paul Serran — May 18th 2024 at 09:30

The list of failures and shortcomings of French President Emmanuel Macron is too long to compile, but suffice to say he has managed to antagonize the whole Republic against him – and it’s reported now that even his older wife Brigitte has lost her patience and is interfering on his train-wreck of a second (and last) Presidential mandate.

He went to Marseille and launched a ‘crackdown on trafficking’ – but police rounding up the usual low-level small fish is hardly a compensation for the debacle of the escape by drug kingpin Mohamed Amra, aka La Mouche (The Fly), was freed from a prison convoy in an audacious ambush that saw two prison officers killed and others wounded.

Below, we see the British press going at the Globalist poster boy, a former Rothschild banker with unusual vehemence.

Daily Mail reported:

“Since Macron took office promising a new dawn for his country, Islamic militants have burned churches, murdered a priest saying mass and beheaded a teacher who offended a Muslim student. Anti-Semitic incidents have increased 300 per cent. The Holocaust memorial in Paris was attacked this week and yesterday morning, police shot dead a man armed with a knife who set fire to a synagogue in Rouen.”

The Mail highlights that Paris will host the 2024 Olympics, which would be a spectacular opportunity for Macron to show off on a global stage.

But we’ve known for a while that security officials are ‘terrified that the games will also provide a platform for terrorists and criminals’.

Read: In the Midst of His Constant War Mongering, France’s Macron Asks Allied Countries for 2 THOUSAND OFFICERS to Help Police the Summer Olympic Games in Paris

Police is overwhelmed by criminality all over the country.

Macron is as weak as it gets.

Support for Marine Le Pen’s National Rally continues to rise.

Pollsters are certain that Le Pen is virtually certain to replace Macron in the next presidential election in 2027.

It’s quite a difference for the leader that arrived signaling hope and change for France.

“But all degenerated quickly. In the first months of his presidency he clumsily reduced taxes for the wealthy and increased those on the fuel vital to French workers, sparking months of violent protests that ended only with the Covid lockdowns. He was re-elected to a second five-year term in 2022 by a hugely reduced margin then weeks later lost control of the National Assembly in legislative elections.”

And the situation gets worse and worse. Widespread gun-related killings in Marseille and elsewhere, French troops expelled from Africa, near civil war in the French overseas territory of New Caledonia, in Oceania.

So his old-time ‘mentor’ and lover steps in to ‘save the day’.

“Meanwhile, with Macron in trouble, his wife (and former high-school drama teacher) Brigitte, 24 years his senior, is reportedly so exasperated that she is attempting to purge his senior advisers. Paris insiders call this the revenge of the ‘Madame wing’ of the Élysée Palace.

She’s thought to have been behind the president’s latest pathetic stunt, being photographed by the Elysee’s official photographer channelling Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa, pummelling a punch bag. The message was supposed to be that the president is tough. But boxing fans said his jab was feeble.”

The British paper says that is Macron good at ‘making announcements’ – what Politico called ‘The Grand Master of Grandstanding’.

“As for the Olympics, Macron, Panglossian as ever, has brushed aside security concerns and after a recent warning that the Seine is too contaminated with sewage to hold the open-water swimming events, has promised to dive in himself, to prove the water is safe. A promise as yet unfulfilled. Perhaps the Olympics will be a triumph, although it will be hard for Paris to match London 2012. Perhaps escaped prisoner Mohamed Amra will be captured. Perhaps Brigitte Macron can talk some sense into her husband — after all, he was her former pupil.”

Ouch! That is unexpectedly harsh even for Brits post-BREXIT.

EU Warns Media Platforms Can Be Fined for Slovakian PM Shooting 'Disinformation'

By: P.J. Gladnick — May 18th 2024 at 09:20
Are you posting about the shocking assassination attempt on Wednesday upon the Slovakian Prime Minister Robert Fico? Well, a warning. You and the Big Tech platform you are posting on can be punished for spreading "disinformation' if the European Commission, the increasingly authoritarian cabinet government of the European Union, has its way. On Thursday, Bloomberg published the warning of impending EU censorship on this topic in an article by Peter Chapman and Samuel Stolton in "EU Monitoring ‘Spread of Disinformation’ on Fico Shooting." The story subtitles also provide these ominous censorship warnings: "Regulators can punish platforms that fail to stem fake news" "EU’s new Digital Services Act imposes tough rules on Big Tech" And please be warned that the European Commission could be actively "monitoring" YOU: The European Commission said it’s “actively monitoring” the spread of fake news about Wednesday’s shooting Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico and warned it can slap Big Tech platforms with fines for failing to tackle disinformation. Fake news aka disinformation is information that the mainstream media and censors in various countries do not want you to see. Do you remember when suggesting that there might have been a Wuhan lab leak was considered to be "disinformation?" Ditto the Hunter Biden laptop. The regulator “is equipped with wide-ranging investigatory and supervisory powers, including the power to impose sanctions and remedies,” it said in an emailed statement....Violations could be punished under the European Union’s tough new Digital Services Act, which forces online platforms to put into place measures to tackle illegal content and disinformation, uphold user rights, and protect user’s health and wellbeing. Oh please, please protect our health and wellbeing from dangerous Thoughtcrimes! Under the Digital Services Act, the bloc has singled out multiple online platforms and search engines last year as large entities worthy of scrutiny. That includes X, Meta Platforms Inc., Alphabet Inc. and others with more than 45 million monthly active users in Europe. Which of the Big Tech platforms will abide by the dictates of the Orwellian Digital Services Act? Looking at you, YouTube! Russian state media has claimed that the political motivation behind the shooting was Fico’s criticism of pro-Ukrainian aid. The alleged perp was recorded loudly protesting Fico's criticism of Ukraine aid, so does that mean the platforms carrying that video will be fined or otherwise punished by the self-styled arbiters of "truth?"

Idiot Joy Behar of ‘The View’ Declares the Supreme Court and Electoral College Are ‘Un-American’ (VIDEO)

By: Mike LaChance — May 18th 2024 at 09:15

Joy Behar of ‘The View’ has decided that lifetime appointments to the U.S. Supreme Court, and the Electoral College, both of which are enshrined in the United States Constitution, are un-American.

Do you think she would feel that way if the Supreme Court was majority liberal, or if the Electoral College system favored Democrats? Not a chance.

Who is she to decide what is un-American? Just a reminder… The View is considered part of ABC News.

Nicholas Fondacaro reports at NewsBusters:

We ‘Need to Fix’ It: Behar Decries the Constitution as ‘Un-American’

Joy Behar, the same co-host of ABC’s The View who thought the North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) was the military alliance that defeated Adolf Hitler and the Nazis, was back with more of her wisdom during Friday’s show. According to her, two elements of the U.S. Constitution – both present since the founding – were “un-American.”

“These lifetime assignments [to the U.S. Supreme Court] have got to stop and they need to fix the Electoral College also because that’s un-American,” she shrieked.

Behar was triggered by newly released, years-old photos of an inverted American flag allegedly outside the home of U.S. Supreme Court Justice Samuel Alito several days AFTER the riot at the Capitol. The latest smear campaign against conservative justices suggested – without evidence – that it was to show solidarity with the rioters.

Ignoring or ignorant of the meaning of an inverted flag, Behar declared it was something wholly invented by “MAGA people”:

State Department Issues Travel Warning for Pride Month Celebrations Abroad, Cites Potential Terrorists

By: Cassandra MacDonald — May 18th 2024 at 09:00
“Pride flag” by quinn.anya is licensed under CC BY-SA 2.0.

The State Department has issued a travel warning for Americans attending Pride celebrations abroad, citing the potential for “foreign terrorist organization-inspired violence against LGBTQI+ persons and events.”

The travel advisory, issued on Friday, warned U.S. citizens to “stay alert in locations frequented by tourists, including Pride celebrations and venues frequented by LGBTQI+ persons.”

“Due to the potential for terrorist attacks, demonstrations, or violent actions against U.S. citizens and interests, the Department of State advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution,” the warning urged. “The Department of State is aware of the increased potential for foreign terrorist organization-inspired violence against LGBTQI+ persons and events and advises U.S. citizens overseas to exercise increased caution.”

The department also urged travelers to enroll in the Smart Traveler Enrollment Program (STEP) to “receive information and alerts and make it easier to locate you in an emergency overseas.”

The Hill reports, “a State Department spokesperson declined to comment on whether the advisory was preceded by a specific event or threat made against the LGBTQ community.”

“The U.S. Department of State has no higher priority than the safety and security of U.S. citizens overseas,” the spokesperson said in a statement. “We take seriously our commitment to provide U.S. citizens with clear, timely, and reliable information about every country in the world so they can make informed travel decisions.”

The FBI and State Department warned of the potential for terrorist attacks on Pride celebrations in the U.S. last month.

“FTO efforts to commit or inspire violence against holiday celebrations, including Pride celebrations or LGBTQIA+-related venues, are compounded by the current heightened threat environment in the United States and other western countries,” the agencies said in a joint advisory.

“FTOs and their supporters have previously promoted anti-LGBTQIA+ rhetoric and targeted LGBTQIA+ related events or venues for attacks.”

CHAOS: Mass Brawl Breaks Out in Taiwan’s Parliament as Lawmakers Fight Over Legislation (VIDEO)

By: Ben Kew — May 18th 2024 at 08:45

Taiwan’s parliament descended into a state of chaos on Friday after a brawl broke out among lawmakers over a controversial piece of legislation.

The altercation occurred on Friday morning as lawmakers prepared to debate a proposal aimed at increasing government authority.

Amid the ensuing chaos, several MPs surrounded the speaker’s seat, with some leaping over tables and others dragging colleagues to the floor. At one point, a lawmaker snatched a copy of the legislation and ran off with it.

— The Calvin Coolidge Project (@TheCalvinCooli1) May 17, 2024

The brawl took place just days before President-elect Lai Ching-te is scheduled to assume office without a legislative majority. Peace was eventually restored, although not before footage of the fighting spread across the internet.

Taiwan’s two principal parties, the Democratic Progressive Party (DPP), which is poised to form the government, and the Kuomintang (KMT), the primary opposition, are fiercely divided over proposed reforms.

Among these reforms is a contentious measure to criminalize those found guilty of making false statements in parliament. The law, introduced by the KMT and its allies, has been denounced by DPP as “an unconstitutional abuse of power.”

This isn’t the first instance of physical violence breaking out in the Taiwanese parliament. Back in 2020, KMT members threw buckets of pig innards at Premier Su Tseng-chang and exchanged insults over the decision to ease U.S. pork imports.

President Trump Eviscerates Joe Biden In Hilarious ‘Keeps Falling’ Music Video On Truth Social

Former President Donald Trump is calling attention to Joe Biden’s deteriorating cognitive functioning by pinning a parody music video, featuring the ailing White House occupant falling over and wandering around, to his Truth Social account on Friday.

The video, a parody of rock artist Tom Petty’s famous tune “Free Fallin,” features Biden falling down on stage, tripping down the steps of Air Force One and aimlessly wandering around as the lyrics point out Biden “Keeps Fallin.’

The song is from Failla’s album, “The More You Joe” produced by “C’Mon Man Records.”

The lyrics to the song read:

He’s an old guy

has dementia,

can’t lead us.

And the country is screwed.

Tells some big lies,

barely speaks English,

sniffs children,

and their mom’s hair, too,

Goes the wrong way.

When he leaves his speeches,

Gets lost each day.

In the White House yard,

All the Dems say

that we should reelect him.

How can he win?

When walking is hard?

And Joe Keeps, (keeps falling yeah he keeps falling)

Keeps falling (keeps falling yeah he keeps falling)

And Joe keeps (keeps falling yeah he keeps falling)

Keeps falling (keeps falling yeah he keeps falling)

In March 2021, Biden tripped and fell three times as he struggled to walk up the stairs boarding Air Force One.

In June 2022, Biden fell over while riding his bike as he stopped to take questions from reporters.

Trump Throws Down the Gauntlet: Demands Biden Prove His Fitness with Pre-Debate Drug Test

By: Jim Hᴏft — May 18th 2024 at 08:15
Trump-Biden first 2020 presidential debate (Credit: CNN)

President Donald Trump has thrown down the gauntlet, demanding that Joe Biden undergo a drug test before their upcoming debate.

Trump’s challenge came during his speech at the GOP’s annual Lincoln Reagan dinner event in St. Paul, Minnesota, which he attended after celebrating his son Barron’s high school graduation.

At the GOP´s annual Lincoln Reagan dinner event in St. Paul, Minnesota, Trump didn’t mince words as he called into question Biden’s performance during the State of the Union address in March.

“I just wanna debate this guy, but you know – and I’m gonna demand a drug test too, by the way,” Trump said.

“I am. No, I really am. I don’t want him coming in like the State of the Union. He was high as a kite,” Trump added.

The former president went on to criticize Biden’s performance during the State of the Union, stating that Biden appeared “jacked up” at the beginning but was “fading fast” by the end.

“We’re gonna demand a drug test… He’s going to be so jacked up for those, you watch.”

“I don’t know what he’s using, but that was not, hey, he was higher than a kite, and by the way it was the worst address I’ve ever seen,” Trump said.

— Joe Rambo (@BrainStorm_Joe) May 18, 2024

This is not the first time Trump has raised suspicions about Biden’s behavior. In an interview with radio broadcaster Hugh Hewitt last month, Trump suggested that there may be “something going on” with Biden and insinuated that drugs could be involved.

“I think what happened, you know, that white stuff, that they happened to find, which happened to be cocaine at the White House, I don’t know, I think something is going on there,” Trump per Daily Mail.

“I watched the State of the Union, he was all jacked up at the beginning, by the end he was fading fast, there’s something going on there.”

Trump’s insistence on a drug test before the debates echoes his stance from the 2020 presidential campaign when he called for Biden to be tested prior to their debates. Back then, Trump voiced his belief that Biden was using some form of enhancement to improve his performance.

In his interview with Laura Ingraham, President Trump said he believes Joe Biden is on some enhancement.

“I watched Biden in the previous debates and he was horrible. And then I saw him in the Bernie debate and he was normal. It was sort of like a normal deal. He got by. And I said that was a different guy than the guy that was in the debate with Kamala. Now, Kamala is just horrible… I’ll tell you what he’s on some kind of enhancement in my opinion,” President Donald Trump said.

There’s No There There: How Alvin Bragg’s Case Imploded This Week With Michael Cohen’s Disastrous Testimony

By: Paul Ingrassia — May 18th 2024 at 08:00

With week four of the Alvin Bragg show trial in the books, it is now crystal clear (if somehow it already wasn’t) that the New York District Attorney has no case.  As it stands, the two star witnesses for the prosecution – Stormy Daniels and Michael Cohen – proved cataclysmic; so much so that even liberal talking heads like Anderson Cooper and Alyssa Farah fretted on networks like CNN, saying they would acquit President Trump of all allegations given just how bad Cohen’s testimony was.

Of course, what precisely those allegations are remains a mystery – to everyone, including likely Bragg himself.  Lost in all the sensationalism of this case is the stubborn fact that there is no there there.  We are all left scratching our heads still for an explanation why an apparent FEC violation is being brought in state court?  We are also left wondering why such an offense is a crime at all.

This case has been skewering in court for a month now, following a seven-year stretch in which the underlying allegations ping-ponged from federal agency to federal agency, to be passed on one after the other because – and I risk repeating myself – there is no crime for which to prosecute anyone. Not seven years ago, nor now.

Case in point: we still have not heard a theory of criminality.  Typically, in a court of law, a crime is propounded by the prosecution.  It is incumbent upon the State to prove each element of the crime beyond a reasonable doubt.  If one or more elements fail that test, the defendant is acquitted. Case closed.

This is the first criminal proceeding in the history of New York criminal law in which not even a crime has been articulated when the case was brought to trial.  There are a ton of rumors of course – and ridiculous, groundless speculation – that President Trump could face anywhere between 30 days and 130 years if he is convicted.  The prosecution has hid the ball, however, all throughout the proceeding.

This would ordinarily not make any sense. But it is apparent that Bragg’s strategy is this:  because there is no crime, it is necessary to muddy the waters and confuse the jurors as much as possible.  Hence, the delays, innuendo, porn-stars, and unprecedented rule-breaking.

Bragg is betting that all twelve jurors are even dumber than he as to not realize that the prosecutors are running roughshod around the normal rules governing a criminal trial.  He thinks, perhaps owing to his own lack of intelligence (after all, Bragg is a DEI appointee), that all the chicanery and sabotage of the rule of law that has defined this trial so far will go unnoticed by the twelve jurors.  For that would seem to be the only way Bragg, at this point, would be able to get a conviction.  In any other situation, this case would have already been dismissed.

Perhaps he is right.  Perhaps the jurors are as dumb as Bragg believes them to be.  Although their identities have not been publicly disclosed, there is every reason to believe they are sympathetic to Bragg’s politics, given that they were handpicked by far-left prosecutors in far-left Manhattan, which, in 2020, voted for Biden over Trump 9 to 1.

But even if that all were true, the jurors would have to be extreme ideologues to digest the absolute dumpster fire of a testimony that unfurled in that courthouse this past week to rule in the prosecutor’s favor.  Again, it would only require one juror to break ranks to cause a hung jury – that is all President Trump needs.

And after this week, with Michael Cohen testifying that he’s had a longstanding personal vendetta against the leading candidate to be America’s next president after being snubbed of a long-desired White House post during President Trump’s first administration – either as Chief of Staff, for which he expressed deep interest to many confidantes, or White House Counsel – it would take only the most devout anti-Trump juror to accept Bragg’s so-called “theory” of liability.

In liberal Manhattan, it is reasonable to believe maybe a handful, even a majority, of the jurors are ideological fanatics, in lockstep with Bragg, James, and Merchan in their TDS-levels.  But all twelve?  That is likely, hopefully, a bridge too far, even for the most passionate liberal.

Why? Well, notwithstanding that any of the jurors are blackmailed or gaslit into marching to the beat of Bragg and Merchan’s orders (which is a real possibility), it is pretty safe to say at this point that Bragg’s sham show trial has completely unraveled.

For his part, Donald Trump is coming out of this looking better than ever – and the poll numbers express it.  The court of public opinion, where some morsels of justice still exist, have clearly exposed Bragg’s trial for what it is: an assault on the integrity of the justice system. The President’s skyrocketing momentum is the ultimate indictment of the goings-on in that kangaroo courthouse.

In Merchan’s court, the rule of law does not apply: the laws governing the admission of evidence and the exclusion of such hearsay like prior bad acts and prejudicial character assassination are plainly inoperative.

Nor too do the rules pertaining to conflicts of interest – if they did, the case would never have been able to get off the ground.  Merchan’s wife worked for Letitia James, and his daughter has Joe Biden and Kamala Harris as clients through her political consulting firm. For a second time (or third? I’ve lost count): case closed.

What is more, Bragg’s lead prosecutor, Matthew Colangelo, was the number three appointee of Joe Biden’s DOJ, proving a direct link to the Biden Regime itself.

No lawyer with Colangelo’s resume would ever step down from a government post as prestigious as Colangelo’s former position at the Department of Justice, in exchange for working in a drab state D.A.’s office, unless he was operating under the order to, in the infamous words of the New York AG, “get” Donald Trump.  No greater case of election-interference exists in American history.

Also ignored in Merchan’s court are the rules governing venue.  Allegedly, this is an FEC violation – that is what we are being told forms the nucleus of the underlying crime.  The FEC, last I checked, in a federal agency – meaning it implicates federal issues, not state issues.

Thus, the issue should have been preempted or barred until the FEC took up the case.  So, pray tell, why are we in state court?  We know already that hush money payments and NDAs, as unsavory as they may seem, are perfectly lawful.  They have always been legal, and have never, ever – until President Trump’s trial – formed the basis for a criminal prosecution, let alone a felony crime.

And yet here we are.  Is Merchan suggesting that anyone who has ever signed an NDA or made a hush money payment a crime?  That, at least, would appear to be the novel precedent being set by his court.  That would mean at least half the American population should be put behind bars. Equal justice under law, right?

But perhaps the most unbelievable precedent being set by Merchan of all is the idea that a serial liar, and convicted perjurer, could, simply on the basis of his prejudicial and contradiction-riven testimony, forge the entire theory of liability for a criminal trial!

And yet, that is exactly what is happening in Merchan’s courthouse with the testimony of Michael Cohen.  The State’s entire case rests on the credibility of a known fraudster and liar.

Cohen even admitted on the stand, on more than one occasion, to being a known fraudster and liar (and dare I add: sleaze-bag).  He shamelessly announced on the witness stand that his intent all along has been to subject President Trump to the same process that he went through.  He was unapologetic about it. That was his motive from the get-go. And yet, here we are.

Even when President Trump is exonerated of these bogus charges, an inevitability, the damage to the rule of law has been already done.  It will take generations at least to rehabilitate the integrity of the criminal justice system, which has been torn to smithereens with shameless abandon in Juan Merchan’s courthouse.

That is the real tragedy of this whole charade; and hopefully a lesson that is not lost on those of us so unfortunate to bear witness to the dismal death of America’s justice system in real time.

Will Democrats Pay a Price for Their Crumbling Lawfare Strategy Against Trump?

By: Josh Hammer — May 18th 2024 at 08:00

President Joe Biden, who wears bespoke sneakers to prevent embarrassing collapses and whose command of the English language rivals that of most kindergartners, is in bad political shape.

It is unsurprising that Democrats have resorted to some of the slimiest tactics imaginable to derail President Donald Trump’s comeback bid and push their senile octogenarian across the November finish line. Properly skeptical of their chances to topple Trump in a fair mano-a-mano, the Democrat-lawfare complex in 2023 conjured up four separate criminal prosecutions—two federal probes and two state probes—targeting the 45th president. After all, if you can’t beat him, then … prosecute and incarcerate him! All in the name of “our democracy,” naturally.

Suffice it to say that the Democrat-lawfare complex’s brazen, cynical attempt to subvert our constitutional order in the name of saving it has not gone according to plan.

In Washington, D.C., Special Counsel Jack Smith’s crown-jewel case against Trump, pertaining to the 2020 presidential election and the Jan. 6 jamboree at the U.S. Capitol, has been interrupted by the U.S. Supreme Court. The justices stepped in to assess the thorny constitutional question of the scope of immunity from criminal prosecution for former presidents, and a decision is not expected until late June.

The most likely result is a mixed opinion that holds some “core” Article II presidential functions are immune from post-presidency prosecution, but other acts are not. This would require a remand to the trial court for fact-finding to determine which legal category the acts in Smith’s indictment fall into. That trial court finding could then be appealed, too. There is virtually no chance Smith can wrap this all up before November.

In Florida, Smith’s other federal case has not been more successful. The Florida prosecution, pertaining to Trump’s post-presidency handling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago estate, had at least some potential on the legal merits. But Smith wildly overplayed his hand by charging Trump with violating the controversial World War I-era Espionage Act, and the proceedings have frequently been set back due to the strenuous demands of the Classified Information Procedures Act—a 1980 statute first introduced in the Senate, ironically, by then-Sen. Joe Biden, D-Del.

Recently, Judge Aileen Cannon indefinitely postponed the trial start date, which had initially been scheduled for May 20. There is again little to no chance Smith can reach a jury before November.

The case in Fulton County, Georgia, which once seemed the most perilous of them all due to Georgia’s sprawling Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act, the far-left Atlanta jury pool, and the potential for high-profile prosecution witnesses, has gone totally off the rails. Ever since January, the only questions in the case have not been substantive legal issues such as whether Trump oversaw a grand conspiracy to “overturn an election,” but tabloid fodder such as whether Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis and her illicit extramarital lover and appointed special prosecutor, Nathan Wade, are too compromised to bring the case.

The trial court’s finding that only one of them must recuse is now pending before a Georgia appellate court, and it is likely the Supreme Court of Georgia will weigh in, too. This case isn’t reaching a jury before November, either.

That leaves the ongoing drama in New York City, where a literal porn “star” (Stormy Daniels) and a convicted felon (Michael Cohen) are aiding the George Soros-funded prosecutor’s case of … well, he hasn’t exactly told us what it is. We surmise the case entails alleged New York State fraudulent bookkeeping charges in furtherance of a federal campaign finance law violation—which doesn’t even fall into the local district attorney’s jurisdiction.

The prosecution is about to rest its case, and we don’t even know for sure what the actual black-letter legal case is. On Thursday, the “star witness” convicted felon’s testimony was so bad that far-left CNN anchor Anderson Cooper remarked: “I think if I was a juror in this case watching that, I would think this guy is making it up as he’s going along.”

Brutal.

The Democrats’ strategy is failing. But it is up to the American people to make them pay for it.

Newly Published Records Show FBI Officials Were Instructed To ‘Stand Down’ The Day Before Jan. 6 After Targeted Individuals From a Group They Had Infiltrated Decided Not to Come to DC

By: Alicia Powe — May 18th 2024 at 07:45

FBI agents arrive at Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C., on Jan. 6, 2021. The U.S. Capitol was placed under lockdown and Vice President Mike Pence left the floor of Congress as hundreds of protesters swarmed past barricades surrounding the building where lawmakers were debating Joe Biden's victory in the Electoral College.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation continues to cover-up how the government entrapped Americans who demonstrated at the January 6 Save America rally.

In response to a Freedom of Information Act request, the FBI released a trove of internal documents on May 7 on “The Vault” section of its website titled “United States Capitol Violence and related Events of January 6, 2021 Part 35.”

Email correspondence among FBI officials in the days leading up to Jan. 6, real-time reactions to violence at the fedsurrection, and guidance of the bureau’s response to the Capitol riot are among the 107 pages of newly released documents.

But the most interesting aspect of the FOIA drop is the information the bureau concealed. The increasingly lawless agency, that continues to surveil and terrorize Americans who protested that day, heavily redacted nearly every page of the records, hiding all evidence potentially indicating malfeasance.

Despite a frustrating number of the pages being redacted,  some interesting tidbits remain among the scraps.

An email thread with the subject line, “Stand down. See Below” was sent at 5:46 pm the day before the massive crowd of demonstrators was bombed, gassed and shot by police at the Capitol.

“We are standing down in [REDACTED]. The predicated subjects have been [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] is being informed. The only people from the group who are continuing to DC are non-subjects, who are not carrying weapons, and appear to be solely involved in legal First Amendment protesting,” states one of the emails from the thread.

Newly released FBI records include an email thread with the subject line, “Stand down. See Below” the day before Jan. 6
The vast majority of this email thread is redacted, so it’s unclear what the “stand down” order was in relation to. pic.twitter.com/7cZJLiwEaw

— Ken Silva (@JD_Cashless) May 8, 2024

“Thank you all for quickly stepping up today!” an employee wrote back in response.

Recipients included in the email thread are not identified. Only one employee’s title was revealed: a supervisory intelligence analyst for the FBI’s DC office.

Here is an image of the email.

The dates on the batch of FBI emails obtained by leftwing activist group Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics span from Jan. 2 to Jan 14, 2021.

The trove of redacted emails released by the FBI on May 7 includes correspondence between members of the Joint Terrorism Task Force forewarning violence.

“Hi all, [REDACTED] asked earlier about [REDACTED] subjects coming to the [National Capitol Region] this week who have been [REDACTED]. Per [REDACTED] and [REDACTED] (cc’d), below is information regarding [REDACTED] subjects travelling to the NCR [REDACTED].”

In another heavily redacted email from Jan. 4, 2021, shows that the JTTF treating the upcoming Stop the Steal rally as a “usual” event.

“Usual early [warning order] for something brewing. There are a few people posting intent to come down to DC to do harm on the 6th. [REDACTED] are working in which [REDACTED]. [REDACTED] … and there are likely to be others … That is all I have. You should at least be [REDACTED] from here on out,” the Jan. 4 email said.

Obviously, the FBI has much to hide.

Rep. Clay Higgins, R. -LA, who chairs the Homeland Security Committee’s border subcommittee contends FBI agents entrapped demonstrators during the Capitol riot. Higgins insists “ghost busses” filled with FBI agent provocateurs incited violence among the protesters.

The four-term Louisana Republican predicts the federal prosecution of the January 6 protesters will fall apart when the House of Representatives finishes releasing the security tapes from that day.

Here’s more.

It seems possible, if not likely, to me that the emails could be referencing some of the groups entering DC on Jan. 5.

Hilarious ‘Prison Pen-Pal’ of Self-Proclaimed “Sex Symbol” Michael Cohen Revealed by NYT – “[I] Truly Love You”

By: Brian Lupo — May 18th 2024 at 07:30

This week in culture and politics was funny, borderline hilarious, if some of these events weren’t in fact real.

From artist Scott Lobaido releasing 1,000 penis-shaped balloons donning the images of political partisans involved in President Trump’s persecution to US Congress talking about adult beverages in a hearing, fake eye lashes, and Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez shouting to Rep. Marjorie Taylor Green: “Baby Girl! Don’t even play with me!” to a female US Secret Service agent on Kamala Harris’s detail fighting her superior officers while on-duty.

I may start drinking after watching this pic.twitter.com/5FQlfl0OHN

— Karli Bonne’ (@KarluskaP) May 17, 2024

With all of these comical distractions going on, there is still a critical trial taking place in New York.  Prosecutors in the “hush money” trial are expected to rest their case on Monday after Michael Cohen’s testimony wraps up.  Yesterday, Trump attorney Todd Blanche put Cohen through the ringer, flat out calling him a “liar!” as Cohen gets a little loose with his recollection of a 1 minute 36 second phone call with Trump’s body guard over a prank-caller.  Cohen alleged the call was to regarding the payment to Stormy Daniels, but, as the Daily Beast  pointed out, text messages before and after that call don’t support that claim.  Yes, the Daily Beast…as if this week needed more hilarity.

Even CNN’s Anderson Cooper couldn’t help but carefully tip-toe around how awful Cohen’s testimony was.

Perhaps Cohen can find consolation in his prison pen-pal!  According to the New York Times, Michael Cohen, the self-proclaimed “sex symbol” according to Michael Avenatti, has been cozying up to Rosie O’Donnell.

Unlike many, I have been consistent for 6 years: Michael Cohen is a liar and a total fraud/narcissist who cares only about himself. And let us not forget about @womenforcohen and the 700+ ridiculous posts he fabricated in an effort to paint himself as a brilliant attorney, sex…

— Michael Avenatti (@MichaelAvenatti) May 15, 2024

The New York Times reported that Rosie texted Michael Cohen on Monday before the trial:  “breathe – relax – tell the truth – u got this – i love u.”  An hour later, she texted him “Ur doing great.”

Cohen reportedly responded, “Thank you and truly love you.”

Sometime during his incarceration, Rosie said that she got his inmate number and sent him a letter.  A six-page long letter.  The NYT reported:

In the letter, Ms. O’Donnell said she believed that Mr. Cohen had helped Mr. Trump wage his campaign to discredit her. Nevertheless, she said, she was grateful to him, and viewed his decision to turn on his boss as an act of heroism. She believed in redemption and wanted Mr. Cohen to know that she forgave him for everything that had transpired between her and Mr. Trump.
“When someone is in a relationship that unhealthy and breaks free, it’s a very lonely time,” she said on Monday, adding that she did not necessarily expect to hear back from Mr. Cohen. She also realized he might not be seeking her forgiveness.
But Inmate No. 86067-054 soon wrote back.
“He asked me to come visit him,” Ms. O’Donnell said. The last person she visited in prison, in 2004, was her friend Martha Stewart, who was serving five months in a federal penitentiary on charges related to insider trading.
Rosie would go on to visit Inmate No. 86067-054 in Otisville.  She anticipated spending about an hour with him but ended up hitting it off and talking for more than six hours.
During her visit, ‘No. 054’ (for short) introduced her to his friends.
“Michael was sort of proudly introducing me to people, the friends he had met there.”
Rosie even said that “they held hands” at one point during the conversation.
Did anyone have ‘Michael Cohen befriending Rosie O’Donnell’ on their “the absurdity that is 2024” bingo card?

Dirty Brad Raffensperger and Gabe Sterling Caught Rigging 2024 Election Against Donald Trump – Using the Same Tricks as Last Time!

By: Jim Hoft — May 18th 2024 at 07:15

In November 2020 The Gateway Pundit published information on a little known YouTube video with only about 50 views at the time. In the video that was posted in August 2020, Gabriel Sterling joins in to discuss a number of things regarding the election process.

Gabriel Sterling was appointed the COO of the Secretary of State’s office by Brad Raffensperger shortly after Raffensperger was elected to the position in November 2018.

Sterling, as COO, would be in charge of budgetary, human resources and administrative operations for the Secretary of State’s office. Sterling, strangely, has also been referred to, in multiple media accounts, as Georgia’s “Statewide Voting System Implementation Manager.”

Starting at the 7:00 mark Sterling brags about expanding the emergency rule to provide for drop boxes to go through the entire election cycle now. Again this video was published in August 2020.

At the 8:00 mark Sterling brags about hiring election poll workers from the ACLU to work the elections in the state.

Gabe Sterling: “We allowed for early scanning of ballots. Those things come out of the SEB (State Election Board). And then we work with the county elections officials directly to train them, for them to train the poll workers. And this year we really stepped up a lot in terms of getting poll workers in, in the lieu of the COVID situation, we set up a portal. And as of today, working with our partners, especially the ACLU and the Metro Chamber of Commerce, we’ve already given over 6,000 names to counties for people to sign up as poll work.”

Here is the video.

How in the world did this far-left radical, Gabe Sterling, get hired as the Georgia statewide voting systems manager under Brad Raffensperger?

And what kind of Republican would partner with the ACLU to hire election workers to process absentee ballots?

Here is the entire video that is still live on YouTube.

In August 2023, investigative journalist Paul Sperry echoed our earlier reporting and confirmed via POIA records, that Fulton county officials in 2020 deputized hundreds of anti-Trump Democrats from the ACLU and gave them power to process absentee ballots.

Gabe Sterling bragged about this back in 2020.

BREAKING: New FOIA records reveal Fulton election officials in 2020 deputized 100s of anti-Trump Dems from ACLU, gave them power to process absentee ballot apps rec'd thru online portals & then equipped ACLU poll workers w/ iPads to cancel absentee ballots w/o county supervision

— Paul Sperry (@paulsperry_) August 24, 2023

In every battleground state in 2020 state officials hired election workers from far left groups who acted in completely lawless ways.

In Detroit, Michigan the far left poll workers threatened Republican poll workers and locked the door and boarded up the windows to prevent anyone was observing their “work” during the counting process.

WOW! They Want You to Believe This! — Biden Gained Over 1 Million Votes in Pennsylvania SINCE THE MORNING AFTER THE ELECTION!

In Philadelphia they locked out ALL Republican election observers from the counting room for days.

WOW! They Want You to Believe This! — Biden Gained Over 1 Million Votes in Pennsylvania SINCE THE MORNING AFTER THE ELECTION!

In both Philadelphia and Detroit far left election workers were allowed to drag in backpacks and suitcases into the election room.

WOW! They Want You to Believe This! — Biden Gained Over 1 Million Votes in Pennsylvania SINCE THE MORNING AFTER THE ELECTION!

In Georgia, leftist election workers were allowed to film inside the counting rooms where ballots were processed in private cubes and were scattered all over the counting room in piles!

NEW VIDEO Shows Anti-Trump Georgia Ballot Counter Ruby Freeman with Piles of Ballots, Walking Past Boxes of Ballots, Working Alone in Cubes WITH NO GOP OBSERVERS IN SIGHT!

And now this...
Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his sidekick Gabe Sterling are already working with a Soros-funded group to ensure that only leftist election workers will be hired in Georgia this year.

Is the Republican Party paying attention?

Natalie Winters at The War Room reported:

George Soros and a slew of anti-Trump activists are backing an effort to recruit poll workers for the 2024 election in collaboration with state election offices.

Founded in 2020, Power The Polls appears to be gearing up for the 2024 election, recently announcing a new Advisory council to roll out a vast army of poll watchers ahead of November. The group boasts of recruiting over 700,000 poll workers for the 2020 election and is currently working with state election offices including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger ahead of the 2024 election.

Politico noted that Power the Polls was "stood up” by the Open Society Foundation, the hub of Soros’ political activism and far-left giving. A deeper investigation reveals the group is part of Work Elections, which is a project of the Fair Election Network. In turn, the Fair Election Network is backed by the New Venture Fund, the leading billion-dollar dark money group supports President Joe Biden and counts Soros among its donors.

Similarly, individuals from far-left activist organizations that have received funds from Soros-linked groups including the Open Society Foundation and New Venture Fund such as the Florida Rights Restoration Coalition, llumiNative, and the Civic Rights Responsibility Project are on the advisory council.

While Power The Polls, which describes itself as the "nonpartisan leader in poll worker recruitment” claimed the new 14-member group was a "bipartisan” effort, its lack of any pro-Trump activists suggest otherwise. Furthermore, the council is co-chaired by actress Kerry Washington and infamous critic of President Trump Rep. Adam Kinzinger...

...Even more concerning, however, is the participation of current election officials including Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger and his Chief Operating Officer Gabriel Sterling. It remains unclear the scope of Power the Polls’s influence over these offices. Nevada Secretary of State Francisco Aguilar, for example, is also involved, alluding to collaboration between his office and Power the Polls: "By connecting election officials with potential poll workers, Power the Polls helps jurisdictions across the country serve voters and ensure safe and fair elections.”

Brad Raffensperger and Gabe Sterling are up to their old tricks again to do all they can to steal the 2024 election from Donald Trump. Why not? It worked last time.

Republicans, are you paying attention?

PURE EVIL: Vile Democrats Mar Rudy Giuliani’s 80th Birthday Party – Serve Him with Arizona ‘Fake Electors’ Lawfare Indictment at Palm Beach Celebration

By: Jim Hᴏft — May 18th 2024 at 07:00
Credit: Rachel Louise Just/X

Rudy Giuliani, the former Mayor of New York City and stalwart defender of law and order, was served with an Arizona indictment during his 80th birthday event in Palm Beach on Friday.

The indictment, issued by a state grand jury in Arizona, has indicted GOP state legislators, former Arizona GOP chairwoman Kelli Ward, and others who acted as alternate electors for Trump in 2020.

It was announced by Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes. Critics have labeled Mayes’ actions as part of a broader Democratic strategy to intimidate and silence opposition ahead of the 2024 general election.

“We conducted a thorough and professional investigation over the past 13 months into the fake electors scheme in our state,” Arizona’s Democrat Attorney General Kris Mayes said in a video announcing the charges.

“I understand for some of you today didn’t come fast enough. And I know I’ll be criticized by others for conducting this investigation at all. But as I’ve stated before, and we’ll say here again, today, I will not allow American democracy to be undermined.”

AG Mayes defended her actions, claiming a commitment to protecting American democracy. Yet, her office’s tactics tell a different story. Knowing that the alternate electors would likely invoke their Fifth Amendment rights—a fundamental protection against self-incrimination—Mayes nonetheless compelled their appearance before a grand jury. This unusual strategy could easily prejudice the jurors into assuming guilt where none is proven.

The grand jury ultimately indicted 11 individuals associated with the Trump campaign, including state legislators and GOP activists.

Notably, President Trump himself was referred to as “Unindicted Coconspirator-1” linked to communications about ballot counting with former Governor Doug Ducey. Rudy Giuliani was also indicted, but his name was redacted.

For two days in April, Arizona officials were allegedly on a manhunt for Giuliani in New York City. They even resorted to sending certified mail, Spectrum News reported.

“Agents spent two days (April 25-26) in New York City attempting to serve the defendant at his residence. Multiple attempts to contact the defendant by telephone to arrange service were also unsuccessful. The defendant was also sent service via certified mail, we have not received notification that attempt was successful either,” wrote Richie Taylor, the communications director for Arizona Attorney General Kris Mayes, in an email.

The evening of May 17 was supposed to be a joyous occasion honoring Giuliani’s decades of service to both his city and his country. However, it was overshadowed by a calculated move by Arizona’s Democratic Attorney General Kris Mayes, who chose this particular moment to serve Giuliani.

Sources close to Giuliani likened the scene to a military operation, stating that the serving of the indictment was executed “like it was Normandy,” disrupting not just Giuliani but also the attendees, including notable figures such as Roger Stone and Steve Bannon, according to The Post.

— Rachel Louise Just (@RLJnews) May 18, 2024

Ted Goodman, Giuliani’s political advisor, criticized the timing and approach of the service.

“It’s unfortunate that they chose to barge up and startle guests during a celebration of this man’s 80th birthday,” Goodman told The Post. “They could’ve shown a little more respect for the man who comforted the nation following September 11th and who stands up for law enforcement and the men and women in blue.”

New York Post reported:

In front of nearly 75 guests, two officials with Arizona’s attorney general’s office arrived at the shindig around 11 p.m. to hand Giuliani the papers in the case alleging he and 17 others were involved in a plot to overturn the 2020 election, the sources said.

Some partygoers started screaming and one woman even cried as Giuliani was served.

“While crime in Arizona is at an all-time high the Arizona Secretary of State’s office felt it was a good use of resources to send multiple agents across the country to storm an 80th birthday party like it was Normandy,” said Caroline Wren, a top GOP consultant, who hosted the birthday party at her home.

[…]

Giuliani was the last of the 18 defendants in the case to be served in the indictment that was returned by a grand jury last month, Arizona officials said.

After he was served, Giuliani got in his car and left, sources said. Charges against those indicted in the so-called “fake electors” plot include fraud, forgery, and conspiracy.

In an audacious and blatantly radical move, Kris Mayes boasted about serving Rudy Giuliani, arrogantly announcing, “The final defendant was served moments ago. Rudy Giuliani, nobody is above the law.”

The justice system is dead in America.

American Stasi – Chapter Thirteen – Technical Harassment – Beware of “The Beam”

After Dems spent $30 million to flip Wisconsin Supreme Court, ballot boxes will come back.

Wisconsin judge stops the state’s elections commission from ‘fomenting election fraud.’ Incompetent administrators were requiring people certify the envelope itself was a ballot request because they printed the signature certification on the envelope instead of the document. Voters were told to make the false certification, sign under penalty of perjury, and the administrators would just ignore it despite the law.

“A disaster for Donald Trump is brewing in Georgia,… could cost Trump the state of Georgia if bad actors in GOP leadership positions in Georgia aren’t removed and forced to resign.” – Laura Loomer

From here:

By the early 400s, the Roman Empire was coming apart at the seams and in desperate need of strong, competent leadership. In theory, Honorius should have been the right man for the job.

Born into the royal household in Constantinople, Honorius had been groomed to rule, practically since birth, by the finest experts in the realm. So even as a young man, Honorius had already accumulated decades of experience.

Yet Rome’s foreign adversaries rightfully believed Honorius to be weak, out of touch, divisive, and completely inept.

He had entered into bonehead peace treaties that strengthened Rome’s enemies. He paid vast sums of money to some of their most powerful rivals and received practically nothing in return. He made virtually no attempt to secure Roman borders, leaving the empire open to be ravaged by barbarians.

Inflation was high. Taxes were high. Economic production declined. Roman military power declined. And all of Rome’s foreign adversaries were emboldened.

To a casual observer it would have almost seemed as if Honorius went out of his way to make the Empire weaker.

So he was the Joe Biden of his time. Do you think he was making his own decisions? Do you think he rose to power through honest struggle, and wielded it himself? What if that wasn’t incompetence? What if, as now, he was a puppet, and it was the plan, executed by the hidden hand through traitors the conspiracy elevated to power? All these historical events look so different when you see them with your own eyes, and realize now could be described in the same terms centuries hence.

Federal agencies have been given until October 20th to provide all documents, audio, and video related to UFOs to the US government for public distribution, according to instructions issued by the National Archives and Records Administration (NARA) this month.

On Twitter – “CNN legal experts are now saying Cohen may derail this entire case after he became so aggravated during his testimony today. Cohen went on a rant calling the Judge in his case “corrupt” and essentially saying everyone is corrupt except him. He also went on to say that although he’s lied in court before, he’s not lying this time, even though he still says he doesn’t believe he’s guilty to a crime he confessed to.”

President Biden’s campaign has just now rejected two additional debates that former President Trump’s campaign said it had agreed to. One was a proposal for a presidential debate hosted by NBC News and Telemundo. The other was for a vice presidential debate hosted by Fox News at Virginia State University, a historically Black college.
